The Zetta Sonic

The Zetta Sonic
Open Fire's

The answer came quickly. One by one people emerged from behind the leaves. They're like chameleons. Alex sure saw them just show up. Not from behind a bush, not from behind a tree trunk. It was as if a membrane had broken down before the men appeared.

The people before Alex were not wearing clothes from leaves and carrying spears like an outback tribe in his mind. They wore all-black tight clothing, boots, gloves, complete with a black mask. There are a pair of red lines on the cheeks of the mask. Instead of carrying spears, they carried long-barreled rifles. There was a blue light flashing on the body of the rifle. This leads Alex to think that they could be dealing with a laser-armed force.

“We no longer accept outsiders. No matter where he comes from, even if he is from ICPA at once.”

The voice was heard first before his figure was seen. It came from across them. Initially, a line was seen above the surface of the water and then slowly his body began to look. Not a man but a boat. No, not a boat. It was some kind of jet-black sampan. The material seems different from the canoe in general because until this shiny and has a sharp tip. The passenger is also dressed in black. The difference is that the mask of this figure is white.

The figure continued, “But, given that we once had a good relationship with the ICPA, we will give you time to leave. Five minutes. Turn your boat around and we won't hurt.” The sampan moves smoothly over the water. Keep approaching Alex's ship slowly but surely.

Gavin. “We don't need your five minutes. We need Tesiana's help. The boy I was with was—”

“Save your reason, agent. Get out of here!”

Alex noticed the appearance of other trunks behind this figure. Four canoes with armed passengers. Everyone put their guns on.

Gavin exchanged glances with Alex once. When he looked back, Gavin whispered without a sound. “Replace plan.”

“What—” Alex has not had time to respond.

“How about I say I brought what you guys want?” Gavin yelled at the white mask.

“We don't want anything.”

“Of course you want. I brought you the Naray.” killer

Alex's heart melted hearing it. Gavin states the memories he wants to deny and forget. Alex can't remember it clearly but Naray's blank stare still clings tight. His brows were intertwined and his gaze took turns staring at Gavin's back at the white mask.

“Naray... died?” The white mask stopped for a moment. Along with that, I heard a prickly sound from the rest of the tribe. The white mask circulated a glance as if making sure that his comrades were just as shocked. “You said Naray was killed?”

“True. I brought you Zetta Sonic, Naray's killer.”

“Gavin!” Alex tried to call but did not dare to speak out loud. “What do you do?”

Gavin did not answer. Alex felt his knees go weak. He was both scared and curious. Will they catch him and kill him?

“Alright,” says the white mask, “then throw your weapons in the water and come with us.”

Without saying much, Gavin said. He took the gun and threw it in the water. Then he looked at Alex. There is silence between the two. Alex flirted with Jason in his arms.

Gavin went back to the white mask. “He didn't carry a gun. Drone it—”

“Back to water!”

“We will take you to the chieftain to consider this matter. You guys need to be clean. We will not tolerate any threat. Did you hear my request? Do as we ask or we have to shoot him!”

Gavin. He looked back again. After confirming that the white mask could not see his face, Gavin spoke without a sound. “Do the order. He'll survive, ‘kan?” Gavin hopes Alex can read his lips. He also hopes Jason can survive in the water.

Alex is still flinching. “What do you do, Gavin?”

“Do not spoiled. Just do it,” whispered Gavin. “Trust me.”

Alex gulps while clutching the only item he knows from his neighborhood. “No.”

“Alex,” says Gavin in the end, “just do the command, please. This is our only chance.”

The white mask asked again. “Hei! Throw that stuff away!”

The tribesmen established their bodies. Their guns were raised higher. Behind the mask, the eyes of the tribe members were ready to aim at Alex or the white difference. Meanwhile, Jason himself shook. His single eye detected danger. His artificial brain had digested the surroundings and was ready to attack.

Instead of throwing Jason away, Alex pursed his forehead. “No! Why should I obey?” Alex's tone is up. He glared at Gavin. “You handed me to them? I should have known! You set me up!”

“No. I—”

“You hope to improve the relationship of ICPA Regis by handing over Zetta Sonic. You're really sickening. If you think you can push me, you're wrong, Gavin. Wh why? Because I'm Zetta Sonic!”

Alex releases Jason. The white drone did not fall to the ground but rather floated in the air. From the bottom, a pair of tiny snouts appear. From there, Jason started shooting.

“Alex! Stop him!” Gavin yells. He pulls himself under the ship, hiding under the wheel while a firefight ensues. “Alex!”

The tribesmen did not hesitate to shoot threats. The bullets flew towards Alex and Jason. Some hit the hull, making merciless scratches and holes. Jason himself was protected by Jayden's shield. And so did Alex. Alex's combat uniform has been back on and that's a bad sign.

“Everything! Stop your firing! Don't let him get out of control!” Gavin shouted in despair. He can't see what's going on. Looking up a little, he could be dead. Worst-case scenarios flashed through his mind.

Gavin is right.

Alex's gaze had been completely covered by the green light. The power of Dragon Blood within him was summoned by fury. Every shot from the Kloster tribe was unable to touch him. They're like soft drives for Alex. Uninterrupted, Alex jumps over the canoe of the white mask.

Ordinary sampan would obviously be smeared or even drowned. Different from Kloster's. The sampan was just swaying for a bit over the water. Alex was at the front of the canoe. He is taller than the white mask. Some members of the tribe tried to shoot cautiously so as not to hit their comrades. All those shots mean nothing to Alex.

The white mask took advantage of the opportunity. He pointed the muzzle of his rifle at Alex's stomach. The shot let out a loud and low sound. However, there were no scars let alone blood there, only faint gray smoke. Realizing his attack was meaningless, the white mask picked up a knife. Unfortunately, Alex's hand caught him. With the other hand, Alex thrust out a crushing blow. The white mask floundered in pain on the canoe floor.

Other tribesmen re-launched fire. It didn't last long. When Alex lifted the white mask by clutching his neck, the tribe members could only fall silent.

Alex will do his wrong again.
