The situation became even more tense when he saw Horb's facial muscles start to shrivel violently, while the monsters of the town of Hroud looked at the two human players present in their midst with doubtful eyes.
If Horb accepts Ash's invitation to join Maen'ra, even though their numbers are more, defeating these two humans is not easy. One of them managed to slaughter over a thousand Snow Trolls and Yeti in an instant, slaughtering hundreds of them would not be difficult for such a powerful figure.
Horb turned his gaze toward Reus and Ikshan, getting strong eyes from both people as if ready to face whatever decision Horb would take.
Reus and Ikshan understand, in any game the monster race always gets discrimination and unfair treatment, as well as being labeled as a ferocious and ferocious monster that has always been the enemy of humans and some other non-monster races.
Horb and the inhabitants of the town of Throud are a race of monsters often hunted by non-monster races, accepting Ash's invitation and joining Maen'ra is natural to see from their point of view.
Trouble is, if only that were true, Reus and Ikshan would not be able to do anything but try their best until their HP reached zero and relayed important information to all Orbis Online players and residents.
In these gripping moments, Reus shook his head not wanting to think of any unwanted things. He then focused his vision on Ash, and a semi-transparent white panel appeared a few seconds later.
---
Ash Greyhold – The Chaos Messenger
Level 250
---
As soon as he saw Ash's level, Reus' eyeballs almost popped out of place. He had not expected the arrival of a high-leveled enemy in such a short time.
"Ikshan, have you seen his level?"
"Yes. Do you think we can win against him?"
"Do you really think that?"
Ikshan smiled bitterly at Reus' response, even The Dominator Laplace the Avora Online legend indirectly said Ash was not an opponent they could conquer—at least for now.
When Reus began to think of a plan of escape or resistance, Horb's voice finally resounded loudly in the cave after a long silence.
"I am Horb Bloodborn, as the descendant of Valdir Bloodborn and Hera Bloodborn who made a pact with the God Horen, rejecting the invitation of Ash Greyhold and his group to annihilate the non-monster race in the world!"
Horb's outspoken statement left the entire body of HRoud shocked, not even Reus and Ikshan were able to say anything. Horb's decision was unnatural for those who were a non-monster race whose incident was always suppressed by non-monster races.
Ash frowned displeased at Horb's statement. He then put the paper he was holding back into his pocket.
"So, can I assume you and your people are enemies of my master?"
The question was thrown by Ash along with his trembling eyebrows trying to hold back his mounting anger.
"I don't want to antagonize anyone, but if it's to keep our ancestral agreement with God Horen then we're willing to become enemies of this world."
While saying that, Horb stomped his wooden mace vigorously to the ground shaking the entire body of HRoud, awakening his inhabitants to an oath of allegiance to their ancestral covenant to the god Horen in the past.
Trolls are not very famous for their strength or ability to fight, but they are known as a nation that is loyal and upholds agreements and such. They wouldn't be half-assed if they were dealing with loyalty and covenants.
Although the Yeti did not belong to the Trolls, living with them in hundreds of years would certainly produce more or less the same thought.
The Snow Trolls and Yetis who heard Horb's remarks immediately rushed to retrieve weapons and other supplies to prepare for the imminent war.
Witnessing the reaction of the residents of the town of Huroud, Ash grew furious. Not only did he reject the invitation of his own master, but he also prepared a resistance against himself and his master.
"All of you will be destroyed!!"
Ash's voice sounded like lightning, but no one felt daunted or afraid of him. That made his anger rise even more.
Ash took a few pieces of paper from his pocket, then threw them all to the ground muttering some words in a language that no one understood.
Reus and Ikshan who witnessed it were stunned unable to express his shock in words.
"Ikshan, isn't that the Gate Talisman?"
"In my memory, yes it's the Gate Talisman, but this Talisman seems to be a different class from the Gate Talisman in Avora Online."
The Gate Talisman is one of the high-class Items in Avora Online that is able to open a gate connecting between two places instantly. Usually, this item is owned by the great antagonists in Avora Online and indicates there will be a large Event.
Ikshan mentions that the Gate Talisman that Ash used was different from the class of Avora Online that he had seen while still playing it. This item was even able to bring in hundreds of creatures no matter their size, unlike in Avora Online which could only bring out dozens of monsters at a time.
It did not take long until the monster that came out of the Talisman Gate reached the number four, almost filling the cave room.
"Oi oi oi, isn't this amount equivalent to Full Raid?!"
Ikshan immediately took his kusarigama and formed a fighting position, Reus did not want to miss. He was also ready to fight with Blackstar in his right hand.
'Against thousands of monsters with just two? This is level impossible!'
Although from his face Reus seemed calm, actually his heart raged violently could not stop worrying and panicking. How could you fight a monster in the thousands with just the two of you?
Although he realized the Snow Trolls and Yeti could help them, it does not mean that the battle will run smoothly. The number of thousands can indeed be withheld by the number of thousands, but a place like a cave is not a good location to fight on a large scale—although the extent is not like a cave in general.
"Hows it? This is the army of master Maen'ra lent to me to destroy those who refused his invitation. They're just a fraction of his army."
Ash smiled broadly at the reaction of the entire population of Harroud who looked frightened so knowing so many troops he was carrying.
"Huh, annihilate it so resist it, huh? Truly a ruthless leader."
Horb's remarks made Ash unable to resist his desire to exterminate these disgusting Trolls and Yetis.
"Go ahead and finish them all off without any rest!"
All the creatures that came out of the Talisman Gate immediately came forward to carry out Ash's orders regardless of his life or not.
Horb and all of his residents who could fight directly formed a defensive position prepared to receive a lunge, considering that none of them were able to release magic or some kind of area skill.
Although it seemed that Horb was undaunted and prepared for anything, his little heart was actually worried that his inhabitants would most likely perish today. Even if a battle could happen, with its numbers and strength it was almost impossible for them to win this battle.
As the atmosphere stiffened, Reus patted Horb's waist making the Snow Troll a little surprised.
"We will both overcome this first attack, you continue the momentum we will give."
"What maksu—"
Horb had not commented, Reus and Ikshan immediately darted forward just armed with their respective small weapons. He wanted to ask the two to leave here because this had nothing to do with them both, but the thought soon changed once Horb witnessed the actions of the two.
"Magic Storm!"
"Moon Scythe Art Series: First Form – Crescent Moon!"
In an instant the two were able to finish off dozens to dozens of enemies at once, bringing the momentum of Ash's forces to a halt. This certainly surprised everyone, both Ash and Horb.
