162. Dragon Hawks

Mira does not want to believe the whole story that Deus experienced but he can not deny the fact that his brother has a bunch of Ultra Equip that is so rare and sought after by players.

   "So, now what will you do? Back to the game and against Xavier that again?"

   "It seems that way, there is something I should take back in the treasure room of Lavore Kingdom's palace."

   "Is that so? Alone?"

   "Not really, I'm with a friend of mine."

Mira's stoning gaze looked at Deus, making the young man a little uncomfortable but she ignored him.

   "Sister, brother is not thinking of fighting a kingdom with one or two people, is it?"

Mira's words successfully made Deus almost choke on the mineral water he was drinking, fortunately Deus could control his breathing before coughing.

Seeing his brother's reaction Mira let out a long sigh while slipping both of his hands on the table without taking his eyes off Deus, he could guess his words were not wrong.

   "Sister, even if you're strong enough doesn't mean everything can be solved alone. You also need your friends to help."

Deus pondered Mira's words for a moment. He was eager to ask for help but at the same time he did not want his friends to be fugitives of one kingdom.

Mira could see the doubt in Deus' eyes. He sighed again before getting up from the chair and starting to tidy up his belongings.

   "If you really need help, call me, Kurenai, and others. We'll definitely come. Brother has helped us a lot, being a royal fugitive as big as Lavore Kingdom might be comparable to everything you have done."

Mira smiled softly at Deus and then said goodbye, he had to do homework given by his school.

Mira's last statement before leaving was enough to lighten Deus' head. A few moments later Deus let out a long sigh while scratching his head for a moment.

   "I don't think there's any other choice but to ask some people for help."

After saying so Deus grabbed his phone sending a message to some of his acquaintances who play Orbis Online then rested his body and mental while waiting for the death penalty distance.

The first sight that Reus got after re-diving into Orbis Online was an empty alleyway between rundown buildings with many potholes of roads inundated with water. Rubbish was also seen scattered in the alley.

   "How relieved I am to rise in this place."

Reus heaved a sigh of relief finding himself not rising in the prison of Lavore Kingdom. If he really rose up in that place then his resistance against hundreds of Lavore Kingdom warriors until some time ago was in vain.

Reus then turned his attention to his own body, it could be seen that some of the equipment he wore last time suffered no small damage, especially the Dragon Scale Armor which had a large hole in its abdomen.

   "This must be Xavier's last skill."

Shown in his mind the memory of Xavier's last attack that was so strong that it pierced through his armour and body in one attack.

   "It seems like he not only has great level and strength but also the equipment that powers his abilities."

A wry smile rang on Reus' lips as he recalled how much defense the Dragon Scale Armor had provided, especially after receiving so many high buffs from the Special Trait Set.

   "I'd better change the equipment and mask first, I can be arrested by the soldiers for the same characteristics."

After saying so, Reus changed his equipment into ordinary clothes that he had worn while still a small level, while his own mask was removed so that the surrounding soldiers did not ask his identity.

Reus stepped out of the empty alley towards somewhere.

   "Oh, are you guys here? Since when?"

   "A few hours ago, you were late."

   "You're asking for help so don't be late."

Arriving at the destination, Reus was greeted by Dunk and Kynel who were enjoying their dishes at a table, because the place he visited was an inn and a restaurant.

Reus stepped closer and joined the two.

   "Where's Ikshan? She didn't come with you?"

   "Ah, he said he has a little business in the real world, so he will join us in a matter of days."

Dunk and Kynel look at each other for a moment a little surprised by Reus' statement considering the two have almost always been together since sight.

Reus could see the two were confused before ordering something but he only ordered a drink.

   "There's no need to hurry, we'll carry out his plan a few days later after reinforcements arrive."

   ""Relief?""

Reus did not respond to the two and simply remained silent while contemplating the maturity of his plan as long as there was still some leisure time. She also reserved a room for him to stay in for some time.

Previously Reus had not thought that Telekinesis would be so useful in large-scale combat given its ability to only pull and push inanimate objects, the researchers said, but after the fight against the soldiers of Lavore Kingdom he realized how important Telekinesis was.

Unexpectedly in just a few hours of practicing using the various Items from Inventory, Telekinesis had already experienced leveling up several times. It was no surprise considering he continued to do so while consuming Energy Potions whenever his Energy parameters were thinning.

   "The range is 12 meters, huh? Pretty good."

Reus smiled faintly at the panel containing the information, he was pleased with the development of Telekinesis so fast in just a few hours.

Reus' smile disappeared when he heard a knock on his door. He hurriedly released his Telekinesis skill then put all the Items he used into the Inventory.

   "Please come in."

The door of the room opened and revealed the figure of Ikshan behind it, making Reus smile widely. He immediately got up from the floor and approached Ikshan.

   "Hey, guys, long time no see."

   "It's only been a few days."

Ikshan smiled awkwardly at Reus' overreaction when there had not been a week since the two last met.

   "Ikshan, I know this is indeed sudden but can you fix my Item?"

Reus unceremoniously took out the Dragon Scale Armor from the Inventory and gave it to Ikshan, leaving the man successfully shocked.

   "You.... How did you get this armour?"

   "You know Arshwind, the Dragon that Herlaina and Randolf's teacher once alluded to, right?"

   "Yes, what's wrong with him?"

   "I got this armour from him."

After saying so Reus looked left and right several times before bringing his face closer to Ikshan's ears.

   "Make sure this is just a secret between us."

   "No need to worry, your secret is safe with me."

Ikshan laughed for a moment in response to Reus' message. Even if there are others who intend to seize this armor then the possibility of them succeeding is very low considering the ability of Reus who is able to repel an army of Lavore Kingdom soldiers alone.

   "But, this armor is a little special. I need the same Material as the main material to be repaired."

   "Oh, no problem. Just use this."

Reus opened his Inventory back and gave a dozen pieces of teak-leaf-sized scales called Dragon Scale to Ikshan, once again succeeding in surprising him. Ikshan smiled his awkward smile at Reus.

   "You kept all this from me? You know I can make a lot of high-level Equip out of this."

   "really? Then please accept."

Without a doubt Reus again took out the Dragon Scale but this time in greater numbers, it might be close to hundreds. Ikshan almost screamed to see so many Dragon Scale splattered on the floor.

   "How did you get all this?! Even Arshwind would be impossible to give this much precious Material to you, right?!"

   "Ah, he said he didn't need it. All of these scales came off as he scratched his body from the itch. He gave all this because it had been collected for several tens of years and quite filled his bed."

Ikshan was instantly speechless hearing the unexpected answer from Reus. Not needed? One piece of Dragon Scale that could be worth up to 50,000 Byl is said to be unneeded? If Ikshan could not hold back his emotions maybe Reus had already been beaten by him.

In the end Ikshan only took a few tens of Dragon Scales, the rest he returned to Reus. He said it would take some time to repair the Dragon Scale Armor as well as make some new equipment.

   "Oh yes, by the way the reinforcements you contacted some time ago have arrived. They're waiting downstairs."

   "really? Good thing if that's the case, I'll be right there."

After saying so Reus immediately tidied up his appearance and stepped down towards the lower floor intending to meet the 'help force' he requested.
