119. Origin Blackstar

Reus' eyes widened greatly as soon as he heard Harleina mention 'Blackstar'. Not only did it mention the name of Blackstar that was supposed to be his and Ikshan's secret, but it also mentioned the secret of the origin of this sword.

Reus understood that knowing the name Blackstar was not a difficult thing for someone like Harleina who might have a skill that was able to see from a long distance, but its origin? It made Reus' forehead shrivel.

"Miss Harleina, what do you mean?"

   "You don't know about that?"

"How do I know? Arshwind didn't mention Blackstar at all, even after I used Black Form before him."

Harleina smiled wryly at the unexpected answer, then shook her head slowly recalling the weakness of Arshwind who was not good at remembering something that did not interest her.

He then tells Reus everything he knows about Blackstar and the sword's dark past.

Hundreds of years ago when the Order of Chaos was still large and stood tall on various continents, there was a person who was very famous for his ability in forging around the world. No one could defeat his ability in forging various weapons or any Equip in the entire world.

Behind his legendary forging ability, his fighting ability was also no less than those who were famous greats in that era made him respected by many people, he said, even kingdoms need to think twice about it.

As a great enemy of various kingdoms on various continents, the Chaos Order felt quite threatened and feared defeat against an increasingly growing opponent. One day they launched a massive attack on the forging kingdom and held his family hostage in the main headquarters of the Order of Chaos.

They asked the forger to make the most powerful weapon made from the core of a star as ransom for his family. Of course, the forger initially refused and intended to take back his family by force, but just as his family's hostages were threatened to be finished off if he refused.

Therefore inevitably the forger accepted the request of the Order of Chaos. He went to the main headquarters of the Order of Chaos and made the weapon in question determined to save his family.

Unfortunately like a cliche pattern, once the forger finished making the strongest weapon he could create his family was slaughtered right before his eyes sadistically. Blackstar was one of the strongest weapons created by it.

Knowing Blackstar's dark past, Reus' chest tightened, he did not expect that there was such a painful story behind this dull black sword. Even though Orbis Online is just a game, for him this world is not so different from the real world that he cannot ignore this fact.

Harleina also added that this sword had beheaded over a hundred thousand human heads in the hands of Gespent De'arin, one of the supreme commanders of the Chaos Order, it made him the most vicious sword among all those weapons.

"Then, why would Reus be able to obtain that terrifying historic sword? Wasn't he just running an ordinary Quest when he got it?"

Ikshan's voice broke the atmosphere of the two. Harleina and Reus were slightly stunned at the question Ikshan was asking. Reus himself had already told how he got Blackstar when Ikshan first fixed the sword, so he was a little surprised how the sword could be in Reus' hands.

When he mentioned it, Reus also told how he got Blackstar to Harleina, making the forehead of the deer spirit shrivel violently. He did not expect Blackstar's price to be that low until someone gave it away easily in exchange for a Quest.

"Let me confirm, the family doesn't have a Wallenstein name at all?"

"As far as I can remember not."

Harleina's forehead shriveled even more when she got a quick reply from Reus before finally letting out a long sigh.

   "What exactly is Randolf thinking?"

After asking herself that question, Harleina then walked around the room while saying many things quickly that neither Reus nor Ikshan understood. The two players could only stare at the elk spirit soul in confusion.

After a few minutes of muttering to herself, Harleina never found the answer and chose to give up. He had no idea what the man named Randolf was thinking.

'Who exactly is this Randolf? And what exactly is the Wallenstein family?'

Reus' insatiable curiosity begins to take his mind everywhere, but he still does not know anyone named Randolf or the Wallenstein family that Ash has also mentioned before.

Harleina's loud voice makes Reus and Ikshan hang, almost jumping from the bed by reflex.

Ignoring the reaction of the two Harleina looked at Reus deeply, then from inside her chest came out a ball of light once again that floated towards Reus. When the ball disappeared, a strip of envelope with a stamp of tree emblem appeared. The silver-haired player was perplexed to see this.

"Give the letter to Randolf Wallenstein who settled in a village called Rockfall in Lavore Kingdom."

A semi-transparent panel appeared in front of Reus' face suddenly making him shocked.

---

Quest Giver: Harleina

Quest Type: Introduction

Difficulty : C

Harleina, the figure behind the name of Lord Horen, asked you to give his letter to Randolf Wallenstein in the village of Rockfall! Give it as soon as possible so that Harleina can become a little calmer over the hardship that the Order of Chaos has put up in the past few decades!

Reward : exp

Penalty: Blackstar will be taken forcibly and the level will decrease by as much as 10.

---

Reus's eyebrows rose as high as possible, how could a Quest with difficulty level C that only had Reward experience be charged this terrible Penalty? This doesn't make any sense! He could only sigh seeing that there was no other choice for him.

   "All right."

   "{Quest accepted.}"

Reus sighed along with his answer, but the sigh was so small that it was not heard by Harleina or Ikshan. Harleina only gave a small nod expressing satisfaction at Reus' reply, despite not knowing the complaint behind it. He also revealed Randolf's distinctive features as far as he could remember.

Harleina then responded to the two after thanking them again for saving Huroud and reminding Reus to deliver the letter, then disappeared from both views.

Reus let out a heavy sigh as Harleina's elk spirit disappeared feeling that she was already involved in something troublesome, Ikshan himself could only respond with a wry smile not knowing whether to comment or not.

"Well, there's no point in thinking constantly."

Ikshan disperse Reus's reverie who still thinks about Blackstar's origin and Harleina's quest with a cup of low-alcohol drink. He certainly does not want people he admires hampered his development just because of thinking that is not-no.

Reus who witnessed it chose to forget all Harleina said for a moment, after which they continued their little party until they were satisfied before finally logged out.
