218. Crimson Castle Branch Headquarters

Although Reus hesitates to follow Ramsey, after thinking back on the activities he could do to fill his free time, he finally gives up and follows Ramsey to Crimson Castle's modest headquarters in Alvast.

   "Here you say simple?"

"Well, compared to branch headquarters in some other cities this includes a simple size."

The first thing that greeted Reus when he reached the Crimson Castle headquarters area was a large residence. His size and luxury were indeed far from the Lavore Kingdom palace he had just left, but in one look Reus could tell this residence was as level as a high-ranking noble residence.

Crimson Castle was indeed not a renowned great Legion like the Asterisk Arc or Heaven Throne, but its reputation among NPCs was no less than that of a second-rate Legion.

Different from most Legions that put the needs and membership of players first, most of the Crimson Castle members were powerful and formidable NPCs. They did not look at the NPC one eye.

In addition to most of its NPC members, Crimson Castle also often makes missions to help residents in the city where they build branch headquarters. Starting from exterminating monsters, escorting residents to travel, helping plough the fields, even bringing goods.

This is what makes the reputation of Crimson Castle very good in the eyes of NPCs no matter in any kingdom they build branch headquarters.

That was one of the biggest reasons Aulcrat immediately accepted the arrival of Crimson Castle with his arms wide open in Lavore Kingdom, then this also became one of the reasons why the Crimson Castle headquarters was so majestic in every branch.

Reus was actually curious as to how powerful and influential the great Legions were on top of Crimson Castle. If a Legion of this level alone already looked majestic just from its branch alone, what about a Legion like the Asterisk Arc or Heaven Throne?

As he wondered in his head, Ramsey exclaimed to Reus in protest.

"Hey, we can go around later if you want, but for now you have to meet with Chief Crystina first."

"I know, by the way can you not use that tone of speech as if you were asserting I was your subordinate?"

"Isn't that right, a player without a Legion?"

"Huh, want to mock a solo player without a Legion like me? Let me warn you, even if only my branch managed to destroy the headquarters of a Legion by itself."

"Then why? You think your threat is useful at a branch headquarters as big as Crimson Castle? Don't compare my Legion to an immoral lowly Legion like Gaia's Tree."

"I know that, I'm not as stupid as you sometimes can't tell the difference between left and right."

"What did you say?! Try saying that again!"

"'I'm not as stupid as you sometimes can't tell the difference between left and right', satisfied?"

"Oh, you said it, you fucking genius!"

"Here goes the shrimp brain! You think I'm the one who's scared of you now?"

After a long time of not meeting and fighting, Reus and Ramsey both took the horses ready to fight each other. Reus pulled the sword on his back, while Ramsey wore his iron Gloves hanging from his waist.

The sight caught the attention of several members of Crimson Castle who were looking at the two. Some of them question who the figure of Reus who dares to speak the truth bluntly, while the rest who know the lunge behind the figure of Reus can only be silent do not want to interfere.

It had been less than a week since the Crimson Castle headquarters of the Alvast branch had started operating and several members of the Legion were sent from the center to fill this magnificent residence of Aulcrat's giving.

Some of these members heard the news of a player rampaging to destroy the Gaia's Tree branch headquarters, even a day later the same player also made a big fuss until a number of royal troops intervened.

The new Crimson Castle members certainly did not know who Reus was, but for those who accompanied Crystina and Ramsey here before the battle that shook the Orbis Forum it was watching with their own eyes how terrifying the power of the silver-haired player was.

Crystina even told them that do not look for trouble with Reus if you do not want to face a big battle like Lavore Kingdom.

It was true that with the power of a highly ranked Legion like Crimson Castle, the present Reus could not do much, but that did not mean the Legion would not suffer any losses. Even a Crimson Castle-class legion would definitely think twice against a person capable of facing hundreds to thousands of leveled troops on it alone like Reus.

"What are you fighting like that? Stop it, you're interrupting the other members who are at work!"

As Reus and Ramsey were about to clash, a purple-haired girl with a pair of tiny horns on her forehead grabbed the attention of the two of them, wounding them both from a distance.

   ""Kynel....""

Hearing Kynel's words, the two of them only realized the attention of the Crimson Castle members around were fixed on them. Reus and Ramsey hurriedly returned their weapons and acted like nothing had ever happened while smiling wryly.

Kynel who saw this massaged his throbbing forehead, not knowing what to do with these two fools.

"Keep that aside, Ramsey, didn't the Chairman tell you to secure the area around Alvast from the powerful monsters that roamed around? You left your unit alone?"

"The chief asked me to take Reus when I found out he was in town, so I didn't leave my unit alone. Besides, my unit isn't as weak as it can't handle something without its captain."

Dahi Reus puckered for a moment as soon as he heard Ramsey's words that he felt his ears misheard.

"Wait a minute, 'my unit'? 'Captain'? Who are you talking about?"

""Of course I/Ramsey, who else is here?""

Ramsey and Kynel said so with a compact, successful make Reus gawking great.

"What is it about your reaction that shows as if the sun will rise from the west because I am leading an army unit?!"

"No, isn't my reaction natural?! How can someone like you lead an army?!"

"What?! Say it again and I'll pound you into tomato porridge!"

"I say once again, how can someone like you lead an army?!"

Unlike before, this time Reus and Ramsey fought without using a weapon. They strangled each other's throats trying to get one of them to surrender, but that didn't happen until someone's booming voice sounded as loud as lightning all the way to Alvast.

"What are you guys doing fighting in a place like this?! Don't you guys work?!"

Reus, Ramsey, Kynel, as well as all the people who heard the thunderous sound were so shocked that they jumped reflexively. They turned towards the voice and found a large tall man, standing upright like a human but covered in golden yellow fur with the head of a lion equipped with a fiery red mane.

Upon learning who the owner of the blaring sound was, Kynel and the other Crimson Castle members immediately continued their work, while Ramsey let out cold sweat from all over.

And Reus? He just put on a wonderfully astonished expression on his face.
