Orbis Online
12. Five Rook Turtle: Finished

After successfully killing 5 Rook Turtle, Reus and Ravel return to the Quest Center building to get the reward in the form of 100 Byl and some exp points. By running the Quest, Byl and exp are equally divided among all party members. Although divided equally, Reus got enough experience to push his level to level 9 from level 7.

Reus uses all CP—Customize Point— that he can to Luc, Str, Vit, and Dex. Seven points to the Str, seven points to Dex, two pawns to Vit, the rest to his Luc status. Each level increase, either the player or the Orbis Online NPC would earn 3 CP to strengthen his desired status.

Naturally, as a Swordsman Reus must raise his Str and Dex in order for his attacks and movements to increase. Due to his high Int status, maybe in the future he can upgrade his class to Silver-Class, Swordmage—the combined class of Swordsman and Mage that allows one to use sword and magic at once.

“Anu, Reus... I want to ask, can?”

“Ask what?”

“What in the real world are you a swordsman?”

‘Heh, so my sword playing ability that only comes from this instinct is already like a swordsman?’

Hearing Ravel's question, Reus was quite surprised but his expression was very flat. Although according to him the sword ability is ordinary because it only comes from instinct alone, in the eyes of others Reus' ability is so great and shrewd. Almost all attacks he can tepis out and very rarely he resisted the opponent's attack.

This does look easy, but it is actually quite difficult for those who are not accustomed to attacks from opponents. In addition, he had already faced life and death situations. Experience is quite far compared to most swordsmen in this era.

“Not, I just love swords and learn.”

“Where? What college? What's the name of the stream?”

“My. College wild. Wild stream.”

Hearing Reus' reply, Ravel looked at him flatly. Reus did not care and just looked around at his status and skills. While Ravel, in her heart she was a little confused by the vague answer Reus gave.

‘Wow, only level nine but my status is like this? Great... wait, how about Ravel status?’

While thinking that, Reus looked towards Ravel who was looking through the items in her Inventory. Compared to Reus, Ravel had far more items. Of course, Ravel has been playing for approximately a year—from the beginning Orbis Online launched—while Reus only started playing about a week ago.

In Orbis Online, players can store anything in their Inventory depending on their capacity level. In the convenience store there is an item that increases the Inventory capacity of the players, the name Inventory Ring. If the player or NPC wears the item, then his Inventory capacity will increase according to the Inventory Ring's ability.

Inventory Ring itself has three types, Low Inventory Ring, Mid Inventory Ring, and High Inventory Ring. Low Inventory Ring can increase Inventory capacity by 20 places, then Mid Inventory Ring increases Inventory capacity by about 50 places, while High Inventory Ring twice Mid Inventory Ring.

This item is so expensive and very difficult to get from the drop item. Just imagine, one Low Inventory Ring costing 50,000 Byl, how about another Inventory Ring higher than Low—Mid and High? Unimagined, isn't it?

However, there were also some Quests that could also permanently increase the Inventory without depending on items such as the Inventory Ring. Of course, this Quest was an extremely rare Quest that could not be encountered in just any place. Not just anyone could find this celangka Quest.

To overcome the limitations of the Inventory, ‘Banking’ feature is provided in Orbis Online. In each city there is a building called Bank where players and NPCs can store and take whatever they store there. Unfortunately, each use of the Bank is charged a fee of 10 Byl. This is certainly a problem for novice players.

Of course, Reus who had quite a lot of money had no problem with this.

But, Reus does not need to store his items in the Bank because in his Inventory currently there are only HP Potion I, Herb Leaf, and Rook Turtle’s Shell—drop items from Rook Turtle. After all, his items were also worthless in the eyes of most players—except HP Potion I.

Reus turned his face away from Ravel because he realized the difference in their strength was very far away. Level 9 with level 279, the difference of 270 levels is not a small thing. In addition, Ravel is also not an arbitrary player.

After finishing taking the Reward from the Quest hunting down the 5 Rook Turtle, the pair of human and Elf players went to a harness shop in the city of Livetuna. Reus only has a sword “Iron Sword +4” whose Dur status has been reduced to 139 points.

Arriving there, Reus immediately looked for the lightest armor that was the cheapest and good according to him. He had seen a light chest armour with a normal defense status, but when he saw the price he immediately looked for another armour.

Different from Toko Ten, all the items in this place were normal items and the quality was already guaranteed on average. Of course the price was also normal, but Reus strongly objected to the price. Imagine, the light chest armor he saw earlier cost 600 Byl! Of course this price was too expensive and made Reus reluctant to buy it.

While Reus was looking for good armor, Ravel went to the weapon shop located about 50 meters from there. He bought 1,000 arrows and put them into the Inventory.

Different from other classes, players or NPCs who took Archer classes and such, the bullets or arrows they bought would have no effect on the damage of the attacks to the mob monsters. This class of attacks depends on the status of the weapon and its users.

After about 15 minutes, Reus finally bought some leather armor. A pair of gloves, a pair of shoes, and a pair of protective sleeves that were all made of leather. Unmitigated, all the armor he bought was worth 1,200 Byl. Reus sighed complaining about how expensive things are in this world.
