The state of war after the giant explosion caused by Reus' Apocalypse Trigger not only managed to shake the air and land, but also successfully terrorized the hearts of the Menschrein Kingdom soldiers.
"What the fuck.... This is what we call war...?"
"No, maybe this is what's called a massacre."
The news of the situation after the giant Apocalypse Trigger explosion instantly echoed throughout the battlefield. This news is very detrimental to the Menschrein Kingdom which is known to lose more than 10,000 troops in one attack.
When the general of the main leader of the Menschrein Kingdom army heard the cause of the big explosion just now he did not believe it but after seeing firsthand the situation of the frontline of his army, inevitably he had to accept the reality.
"Ten thousand soldiers were killed in an instant."
A hairless middle-aged man wearing high-quality metal armor accompanied by a sheet of striking red robes fell to his knees watching the blood-filled scene clearly visible despite being two kilometers away from where he stood.
The soldiers around who saw the man fall to their knees as if losing all their strength could understand.
The middle-aged man, the main general who was sent by the King of Menschrein Kingdom to take down Bailendra Kingdom, was desperate to see the enemy have the power to finish off thousands of troops in an instant.
"General Delorion, don't give up like that. We're far from losing."
The general called Delorion turned his attention to the source of the voice. About five meters away, a beautiful woman came with several guards to approach Delorion.
The woman looked casual, different from everyone present on this battlefield she looked relaxed and completely unencumbered—or rather indifferent to the gigantic explosion that killed ten thousand of her troops.
Delorion immediately got up from his kneeling position facing the woman respectfully.
"Rato.... Why are you here? The battlefield is a dangerous place. Please wait in a safe place."
"No need to worry about me. I have a tough bodyguard who won't lose to anyone."
"But, still...."
Delorion glanced at the queen's bodyguard. He did feel the queen's bodyguards were emitting a dangerous air as well as a powerful aura, but as a devotee as well as one of the high nobles in the Menschrein Kingdom he could not let go of his own worries about his queen.
The queen understood the feelings of Delorion who did not want her to experience bad events but she insisted on witnessing this battle firsthand.
"General Delorion, there's more to worry about than me right now."
".... If the queen says so."
Delorion explained about the battle situation—though it could not be said battle. The ten thousand Menschrein Kingdom troops had vanished even before the two armies clashed.
Whether it was caused by a stance or a trap set up by an opponent, Delorion argued that if such a thing could be used repeatedly then the Menschrein Kingdom could lose before taking out their flagship card.
"Just be calm, a move or a trap as strong as that is impossible to use continuously."
"I understand that but still...."
Delorion could not help his fear if the allegation was wrong and as he sent another army forward, a similar explosion once again destroyed the strength and morale of all the remaining Menschrein Kingdom soldiers.
"Huh, you human. Greed is big but it's basically cowardice."
"My heart, what do you say—"
Not yet had Delorion finished his words the queen had already raised her hand and exerted a magic to Delorion. The red magic energy flowing from the queen's hand seeped into Delorion's chest making the general calmer and his courage increased.
"Have you calmed down, General Delorion?"
"Thank you for what you've done, my Queen. My head is colder."
"Good, then continue with your work."
The queen nodded for a moment and let Delorion go give a speech to raise the spirit of his troops after saying so. He silently smiled widely while looking at the new figure of Delorion.
"Mrs Ceres, isn't it not good to use such magic in this place?"
One of the queen's bodyguards asked in a small voice. He was afraid that anyone would be aware of the magic the queen of—Ceres used and suspect their movements.
"No problem. If you can take care of it, right?"
The bodyguard who asked closed his mouth could not reply. Ceres' words were not wrong, neither he nor the other bodyguards would immediately move when they realized something was jeopardizing their plans.
"But, that explosion just now was powerful as well. Would you be able to contain it if the explosion happened again?"
"We can hold some but for the whole it will be difficult."
Ceres rubbed his chin hiding his admiration when he got an answer from one of his bodyguards. Though he felt confident about the strength of these guards in attacking or defending but hearing them difficult to withstand the entire impact of the explosion made Ceres amazed and worried.
'Could there be an Immortal Being helping Bailendra Kingdom? It was not impossible for them to plan something like this.'
Inwardly Ceres muttered surmising that a power of this magnitude if not from the pure strength of someone of high level then this was a certain trap set up by Immortal Being.
He had already seen how Immortal Being fought and made plans, some even surprising him who had gone through many fights in his lifetime.
Ceres then sighed for a moment before raising his voice.
"Royce, can you deploy the army of Immortal Being directly forward?"
"If my master orders."
A voice without form answered Ceres' question from the shadowy direction of the Menschrein Kingdom's strategic tent.
"Good, take them forward. Let them fight in front for the warrior spirit to increase."
"As your orders."
"Ah, Royce, if you can hide your aura. You're too conspicuous to emit that aura in the middle of the battle field."
The voice that appeared to be from someone named Royce was no longer heard. It made the bodyguard Ceres grit his teeth felt annoyed at the figure without the form.
"Immortal Being is insolent! Not only did she disrespect Mrs Ceres, but she also did not answer Mrs Ceres' orders correctly! Let me chop your body into a hundred pieces!"
"Here you go, don't be so angry. Let him do as he pleases."
"But, Mrs Ceres, no matter how you like her brash attitude the creature can't let go!"
The bodyguard still did not accept the attitude of Royce who seemed to have no respect for his own master. The other bodyguards were as upset as the bodyguards were but did not dare to voice it out because they had seen certain events in the past.
Sure enough, not long after that the bodyguard fell silent feeling something wriggling inside his chest.
"You're so noisy for a lowly bodyguard."
Ceres raised his left hand which now contained a semi-translucent heart. He then squeezed the heart to shreds and at once the bodyguard who was concerned about Royce's attitude fell onto the lifeless ground with blood flowing from all seven holes on his face.
The body of the bodyguard immediately dried up before crumbling into dust leaving his clothes.
"Well, this is better. An unpleasant noise heard like that I don't need."
Ceres flicked his long hair before stepping away from the encampment of the Menschrein Kingdom troops with his bodyguards left without a single soldier there aware of the incident just now.
