53. Second Wave

The second wave approached, Reus again ordered the Raid troops to handle the assault from the army of monsters who were running towards them blindly.

   "Second wave! The same attack!"

   ""Ready!!""

The attack of Tanker players followed by Healer and Mage at the back guarding and dealing major damage to enemy troops overwhelmed opponents. After a massive, consecutive attack from the Mages, the Archer players behind released hundreds of arrows raining down on the approaching mob monsters.

Although this strategy is powerful enough to eliminate 9 of the 10 total enemy troops before, it seems like the move has been anticipated by the opposing side. They split the army into pieces so that the surprise attack just now could only destroy the opposing party's 3/10.

Reus himself looked at this war situation from the top of the tree. He revealed a smile on his lips, then came down from where he was 'perched' and ran forward carrying Blackstar in his hands.

   "Surprise squad number two, now!"

While shouting instructions to the Raid troops, Reus had arrived at the forefront preparing to swing his black sword splitting one of the Orcs riding the Collosal Wolf before him using Swing. In that one slash a pair of Orcs and Collosoal split apart instantly.

   "Round Swing!"

The skill that Reus had just used to split his enemy was one of the modified skills between Swing and the movement of turning his sword just before slashing. He made use of the centrifugal force of his sword rotation and the Swing skill that amplified the damage of each single slash or attack so as to produce great power without having to waste a lot of energy.

While Reus was making his opening greetings as the front-most Raid squad, suddenly came the entourage of players from both the left and right sides of the forest flanking the opposing side in the middle. Troops on both sides mostly chose classes with close to medium combat strength.

"Mage elements the ground, create a giant wall behind the enemy troops!"

   ""Good!""

Shortly after Reus' command floated, a giant wall appeared behind the enemy forces blocking their way back. This certainly makes the enemy surprised as well as overwhelmed.

On the other hand, Reus flashed a chilling grin as he saw the shock and panic of the enemy forces. The plan has gone quite smoothly so far, but this part is exactly what Reus was after from the beginning.

Give the same attack as bait, then launch the ultimate strategy that surrounded and cornered the enemy. Not only that, Reus was also eyeing targeting the point where the morale of these mob monsters was falling apart.

Moral referred to here is a term that resembles courage or fighting spirit in war. If the morale of the troops is high, the higher the percentage of success of a party's victory that can be achieved, then the opposite can also happen. This is what Reus is looking forward to using.

   "Front squad, finish it!!"

Although there was no need to be ordered even the Raid players would finish them off, Reus wanted to shout while calling for orders. Maybe so that the effect is cooler or more impressed like a commander. After all, Reus was still looked down upon by some of the players who followed this Raid even now.

And that's where the main army of the monster side ended easily. Despite being outnumbered, it was clear the player side was superior in quality and strategy. It is impossible for them to lose.

Braaakk!!

   "Damn it!!"

In the village of Viredeta— more precisely in a building which is a place where the monsters gather to discuss their plans about the conquest of Livetuna— heard the sound of tables, chairs, as well as several other furniture destroyed houses. The figure of Orc who is the leader of the mob monster in this village—Raevolg— while destroying some goods.

   "Lord Raevolg, calm down."

Praang!

Disturbed by the sound of one of his fellow monsters, Raevolg threw the dinner plate he was about to eat with his food against the wall until it broke into pieces. In the look of his face it is clear that he was angry and did not accept something that he did not expect.

"Somebody can stop our perfect plan! Moreover all of our main forces are wiped out?! Just be right!! How can I present victory to Lord Maen'ra like this?!"

Graakk!!

Unable to take his anger out any longer, Raevolg hit the wall of the building with all his might and made a huge hole in the wall. The veins in his temple were clearly visible from a distance from the middle so angry Raevolg.

All the people who were there were quite anxious for their lives witnessing the uncontrollable fury of their own chief. As the leader and leader of the monster group that was about to flatten Livetuna equal to the ground, of course Raevolg was the strongest among all these monsters.

If it is to be read using the Orbis Onlie RPG system, Raevolg currently has level 120 and status that is far above his own level. In the world of Orbis Online level and status are not so tied to each other, all depends on the ability of the player in developing themselves.

Just like Reus, Raevolg also has a power that is not equal to his level. But the reason why the two are quite abnormal existences in the world of Orbis Online is not the same.

Raevolg was from an Orc race that clearly had a much higher Str status among the average status of mob monsters in general. In addition, he also often trains by focusing his training on physical strength and endurance. Plus the class he took and the Equip he wore, certainly made him a class of professional players.

When viewed from the RPG side, Raevolg could be said to be Dungeon Boss—or in this situation Field Boss.

Different from Reus who chose the human race as his race in Orbis Online—ras who do not have any privileges except the status of the average—tentunya since the beginning of the two are far different. But due to the high level of luck and effort of Reus since he entered into this virtual world, he became one of the abnormal players in Orbis Online.

Not only the factor of luck and effort, but also his ability and thinking power that can be said to be quite sharp for fans of the game. Those are the things that make Reus an abnormal player—tunya he is not aware of this.

Seeing these factors is certainly not surprising that Raevolg was appointed to lead the monsters to destroy Livetuna which usually only contains weak people. Even so, Raevlog is a monster that is strong enough if it is lined with Boss-type monsters of the same level.

"Gondur, get all the elite forces we have ready as soon as possible."

After feeling a little calm, Raevolg gave an order to one of his fellow monsters who had the White Troll—ras Troll race in white which was quite rare to be found in Orbis Online.

   "Good."

After receiving the order, the White Troll named Gondur stepped out of the building and rushed to the place where their elite troops were.

Meanwhile Raevolg sat back on a soft sofa that was slightly damaged because of its heavier weight than ordinary humans. He pondered what he should do to win this battle from the enemy who even managed to finish off his main army easily.

"Mr Raevolg! I got a letter from master Maen'ra!"

In the middle of the silence was the sound of a small Goblin directly entering the building from the wall hole that Raevolg had made before. At first he was a little worried about this tense and quiet atmosphere, but what he brought now was very important for Raevolg.

   "Whatis that? Give it up."

Without saying anything else, Raevolg picked up the letter the Goblin had brought with him and read it immediately. While reading he frowned slightly and increasingly saw the contents of the writing at the bottom, but the end of the letter made him smile widely.

Not only smiling, Raevolg this time also laughed so much that his voice scared his fellow monsters who were still there. For some reason, it seemed like he got something good from this someone called Maen'ra.
