166. Throwing Stones

Reus' group raged so savagely against every enemy that came. Reus kills most of the soldiers who arrive using the sword and Telekinesis, while Kynel and Dunk clear the remains of opponents who dare not face Reus.

Crystina herself barely moved from her place as Reus asked her to save some manpower to deal with Xavier. He only occasionally made a move when an enemy managed to escape and target him.

No one dared to approach Crystina after the woman swung the great sword in her hand splitting the opponent in half in one slash.

Kynel and Dunk are no less fierce than Reus and Crystina. Kynel used his earth magic to shake the path destroying the position as well as the opponent's formation, while Dunk used a combination of fist and kick accompanied by some fire magic sending the soldiers who came to him into the sky.

The longer the fewer soldiers who arrived because of fear by the strength of the Reus group, until an army came with a slightly different appearance from them.

   "Oh, their main force has arrived?"

Reus raised his eyebrows and looked at the army of no less than a hundred people arriving.

   "Major squad?"

   "Yes, they are the main troops of Lavore Kingdom who are usually deployed during the war. The leveled 200s were equipped with special formations for killing."

Kynel and Dunk spontaneously gulped at Reus' explanation. A team of level 200? With their current levels, the two of them could not deal as severe injuries as the previous troops.

"Oh, a level 200 team? It's a little interesting."

Crystina could not resist her turmoil seeing a number of troops in front of her. He lifted the Great Grega over the shoulder with one hand before stepping forward.

   "Chairman, didn't I ask you to store energy?"

   "Are you sure you can handle them all by yourself? As powerful as you are at least you are only able to overcome at least ten of them at the same time."

   "Well, that's not wrong."

Reus scratched his head for a moment feeling a little guilty and doubtful.

Previously he was able to deal with all of this due to the existence of Sylph who had great magic power but now, other than Kynel who was still level under 100s none of them were capable of using large-scale magic to eliminate all opponents at once like Sylph.

Reus sighed for a moment before looking at Kynel.

   "Kynel fly us all out of the wall."

   "Huh? You kidding?"

   "No, I'm serious. Just fly it and I'll take care of the landing."

Kynel looks unsure of Reus' words but currently there is no choice but to obey him if he wants to reduce the damage and innocent victims around.

Kynel raised her magic wand high and stomped it down the road with all her might.

   "Rise Ground!"

Moments later the ground around Kynel trembled violently destroying the balance of the soldiers as well as Reus and the others. Reus had Dunk and Crystina duck down before the ground below them snatched upwards pushing them all up into the sky.

   ""Yeah!!!""

Dunk and Kynel let out a scream as they realized they were hovering tens of meters above the air, while Crystina remained calm despite her slightly surprised look. Reus himself observed the surrounding area closely.

   "Telekinesis!"

Reus raised his left hand to deploy Telekinesis, pushing both himself and all his comrades out of the city walls. Thanks to that Dunk and Kynel screamed louder, while Crystina's face became a little bad.

Reus used Telekinesis repeatedly to throw them all over the city walls. After the city walls passed, Reus used Telekinesis longer to make landings safer.

   "Oh, this is consuming more energy than I expected."

Reus' first words when landing outside the wall successfully invited the reaction of the other three people. Dunk and Kynel glared at Reus feeling disbelief at Reus's words that did not sound suitable after hovering dozens of meters above the air and there was a possibility of dying hitting the ground upon landing, crystalline reacted another way.

Crystina dropped the Great Grega onto the ground and began to spit out its entrails, astonishing Reus and the two others.

   "I'm sorry, I can't stand the twirling like that."

Reus did not want their main force to face Xavier down first due to dizziness.

   "That's them!"

Not long after Crystina felt better thanks to Reus's Potion, Lavore Kingdom's main army was seen passing through the wall gates and moving towards them.

   "Oh, they chased us all the way here."

Reus smiled sinisterly at the 200s before turning to Kynel and throwing a few bottles of Energy Potion at the girl.

   "Kynel, make me rocks or large earth around me. Can you?"

   "Huh? What's for?"

   "Just do it, I have an effective way to fight them."

Kynel did not understand what Reus said, but he did. Kynel consumed the Energy Potion given by Reus to recover his depleted Energy thanks to the previous Rise Ground, then began to create rocks from the surrounding land.

The process was quite fast, in just a few seconds Kynel managed to create dozens of stones the size of a car, although after that his breath went wild and his Energy was instantly exhausted thanks to him.

   "thank you. You can rest."

Reus rubbed Kynel's head for a moment before taking out a few bottles containing something dark purple from the Inventory, inviting Dunk's curiosity who had been watching him since.

   "Reus, what's that horrible bottle?"

   "Ah, this? Something good to fight them."

Reus did not turn his head but continued to take out the purple bottle until the number reached dozens. As Lavore Kingdom's army neared, Reus deployed Telekinesis on the rocks Kynel had created on his enemy.

The soldiers eagerly chasing after the four did not have time to react when a hunk of rock floated up to them. In an instant one row of soldiers lost their lives thanks to the weight of the huge stone.

   "Ah, so it seems...."

Kynel gave a dry smile watching the bloody scene that was about a hundred meters away from where he was standing.

The soldiers became panicked due to the sudden attack of the boulder. They had heard that the same vandals a few days earlier were also using similar abilities, but it seemed that they were still grossly underestimating the ability to move objects without even touching them.

It was not enough to get there, after the rocks around Reus began throwing dozens of violet bottles at once over the soldiers using Telekinesis before asking Kynel to make more stones.

As the purple bottles fell and broke onto the ground, purple smoke began to spread and enveloped the ranks of the soldiers who once again managed to panic them.

   "The poison! It's poison! Get out of this place!"

One of the soldiers exclaimed loudly when he recognized that the purple gas was poison.

During the preparation of these few days Reus did not just train Telekinesis and make Potions alone, he also used his Poison Breath to fill several hundred empty Potion bottles.

According to Reus this way will be more effective in fighting against many people than continuing to exert Poison Breath in the fight from time to time.

   "Want to go? It's not that easy!"

Seeing that his opponents were about to escape from the battle or just stay away from the poison smoke, Reus floated the rocks that Kynel had just created using Telekinesis. The target this time was the rearguard of the soldiers closing their running path.

Reus calculated the approximate strength of his Telekinesis with the weight of the rock, then threw the rock up and fell not missing from its destination using parabolic motion.

   "This is no longer a battle...."

   "Ah, chief Crystina, are you healthier? It doesn't seem like it yet, your face is still pale. You better rest a little while."

Crystina's condition had improved thanks to resting a while recovering with the Potion given by Reus but after being good enough to join the fight, Crystina's face paled again when she saw the slaughter not far in front of her.

His gaze now shifted to Reus who was smiling at him.

   'Lucky I didn't make him an enemy....'
