140. Gaia's Tree.... Again

"Excuse me, do you know anyone named Reus?"

Dunk's sudden arrival and questioning startled the girl until she pointed her wand at Dunk's face, leaving the handsome man a little panicked.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be presumptuous!"

Dunk immediately raised both hands into the air while taking a few steps back as soon as he was pointed at by the stick by the girl, indicating that he really did not intend to attack or the like. He was just purely curious towards this girl.

Highlight the girl's eyes narrowed at Dunk from top to bottom holding great suspicion towards the man, making Dunk break out in a cold sweat. He did not feel surprised to remember that it was him who suddenly asked as if they already knew each other.

After the brief examination was over, the girl lowered her wand from Dunk's face, then put her wand back to where it was before. He then told Dunk to sit down using hand sign language.

Dunk could only obey the girl's wishes while smiling awkwardly. He was ready to be thrown back at his desk, but instead the girl told him to sit down without speaking.

Although popular among women, Dunk is not very good at communicating with women, especially women who are not interested in him and look creepy like the girl. He could not stand up to such a woman.

The girl sipped the cup of tea she ordered before raising her voice.

   "You know Reus?"

"Ah, yes, I can say that."

Before the girl begins to suspect him more deeply, Dunk soon lays out Reus' physical traits and traits, as well as how he can meet Reus to convince the girl.

   "You were saved by Reus?"

"Although only in the virtual world, it remains that he saved me in the truest sense."

Dunk later recounts his first encounter with Reus when he was besieged by several Zombie Knights in a low HP state.

At first Dunk was completely resigned to his condition and ready to die, but thanks to the arrival of Reus, Dunk again get his courage. Afterwards as it is known, Dunk and Reus form a party until they fall into a trap and are sent to Chaos Lair, then end in unexpected death.

Of course he did not tell Chaos Lair or Arshwind just like that to the girl, nor was he completely sure that this girl was the acquaintance of Reus that he knew.

   "Saved, huh?"

The girl sighed while looking at her desk, recalling an event some time ago that had a major effect on her in this world.

"May I ask you some questions about Reus you mean? It's possible that this Reus we're talking about is two different people."

"It doesn't matter, I want to make sure of it too."

In the end, Dunk and the purple-haired girl throw questions at each other about Reus until the two find out that the Reus they were talking about earlier is the same person.

"Last question, why do you know I know Reus?"

   "Ah, about that...."

Dunk explained there was a video recording of the battle in the village of Viredeta where Reus with his Black Form was very striking at the fight, then there were two others behind him who were no less noticed. Those two people were Ramsey and this girl in front of him.

The girl nodded slowly understanding Dunk's intentions, she understood him because her own name rose quite rapidly after the battle, especially among beginners and players below level 100.

"Oh yeah, my name is Dunk, sorry I didn't allow myself before."

"Ah no problem, I also apologize for being too suspicious."

The two apologized to each other after confirming the figure of Reus they were talking about was the same person.

The girl lifted her wide wizard-style hat showing her little black horns with a big smile, making Dunk stunned to see it.

   "I'm Kynel. Hello, Dunk."

   "Dunkies? Kynel?"

Reus' eyes widened wide enough to watch the two acquaintances being chased by a group of people. He was a little confused as to what the two were doing in this city.

Reus was about to reach for the sword on his shoulder to come and help them, but he did not know what had happened to them until they were chased by a group of people.

As he thought about the reason Dunk and Kynel were being chased by such people, Reus was able to see the Gaia's Tree emblem on some of the group supplies that were chasing them, resulting in Reus' forehead shrinking violently.

   "Gaia's Tree again?"

It could be seen that a vein in the temple of Reus once he knew that the group was a member of Gaia's Tree, feeling that the Legion considered themselves to be of unshakable power and strength.

Reus could see information regarding some of the people in the chase group. Most of their levels were only 100 and below, but their numbers were close to tens, an impossible amount offset by just two people alone.

"No wonder they can only run."

Reus massaged his slightly throbbing forehead wondering how many levels Dunk and Kynel had gained since the last time he met, but he realized himself would be worried against so many opponents alone in their position.

In the end Reus pulls the sword on his back, then throws it right at the distance between his acquaintances and their pursuers, making their steps stand still as well as attracting attention, including Dunk and Kynel who are being chased.

   "Huh? Who're you?!"

   "Who am I, you say?"

While saying that Reus flicked his robe in the style of a hero, then placed his two hands on his waist.

   "I'm your nemesis, Gaia's Tree."

In response to the words of the strange person who suddenly declared a mortal enemy, the members of Gaia's Tree looked at each other before bursting into laughter. Reus raised his eyebrows seeing they were not seriously responding to his statement.

"Cruel enemies? There's just this guy."

"He has no Legion-branded equipment, how can he call himself our mortal enemy?"

Their loud laughter caught the attention of the locals, but not for long. After their laughter stopped one of them immediately had some people teach Reus a lesson.

"We understand, you'll just arrest those two."

"This guy let us teach him a lesson."

There were about four large-bodied people who stepped towards Reus along with his weapons along with an aura of intimidation that was strong enough for ordinary people, but they did not know who was in front of them.

Reus clicked his tongue annoyed at feeling so underestimated, but he realized this was due to the mask that protected his identity as a player and his appearance did not look strong.

"It seems like you're underestimating me too much, huh."

Reus sighed before picking up another sword on his back, then kicking the ground while activating Sprint darting towards his four in an instant and a moment later Reus was behind them.

"It takes 20 or more people like you to at least stop me."

Right after Reus raised his voice, the four players fell headless on the ground on their necks.

   "Flash Dragon Smite."
