35. Blackstar
Arriving at the apartment, Deus immediately changed his clothes to casual clothes and immediately logged into Orbis Online after putting some food in the refrigerator. Most warrior NPCs inside Orbis Online had a Soldier class, a Bronze-Class rank class at the bottom of— even below Knight. With a longsword or broadsword type sword main weapon and a shield, they as NPCs were indeed worthy of the defense warrior Livetuna. Moreover, they are level 15 and above.
The presence of the defense soldiers made the NPC citizens look rather anxious. Surely all the residents already know that there is a monster attack that will attack Livetuna. NPCs in Orbis Online also have and come from a family, not just created from a collection of algorithms and data.
Need to know, though, when NPCs die they will not be able to come back to life unless they live as Undead or are resurrected by a player who is able to do so or someone using a certain Item that can make NPCs live again. It is only natural that people are worried.
Reus felt a bit of pity for the NPCs, but he realized that this world was just a game. He did not want to sink too deeply into his feelings because the virtual world and the real world were two different and separate things.
With that thought, Reus stepped out of Livetuna and walked towards the Plain— Wolf where the wolf-shaped mob monster Wolf was gathered.
After some time of walking he finally arrived at the Wolf Plain where the occupants of the place should be the Wolf, but what Reus saw in that place were mostly mob monsters like Goblin and Hobgoblin. He immediately hid behind a rock big enough to hide himself.
'Don't the Event Monstrous Invasion have arrived here?'
While hiding, it was the only most likely one that Reus could take given that the Monstrous Invasion had already been done a few hours ago.
Initially Reus came here because he wanted to test the black sword given by Nezile after completing the Quest he gave, but he did not expect that this place had been controlled by the Event. Although it was only Goblins and Hobgoblins, in large numbers Reus could also die from it.
Those low-level goblins were supposed to be level 10 to 15 and the evolution Hobgoblin—ras from Goblin— on average had levels around 20 to 40. Perhaps Reus could easily overcome the Goblins, but not the Hobgoblins.
While hiding, Reus took his Iron Sword +4 from his back and looked at Dur's status remaining on the sword.
