"Xavier Desgnar's? You mean that Xavier Desgnar?!"

Sylph first reacts to Xavier's name. His eyes glared with a facial expression that was so frightened.

Reus's eyebrows slightly raised when he saw Sylph's reaction that looked new at once made him curious. Reus also focused his gaze on Xavier about to see his level information when a semi-transparent panel appeared in front of his face, Reus' reaction was not much different from Sylph.

---

Xavier Desgnar

Level 330

---

Reus almost choked on his own breath when making sure the information in the panel was correct or not. How many times he made sure the contents of the panel were unchanged.

"Sylph, who is he? Why is the level so high?"

"He was Xavier Desgnar, the leader of the Elite Knight Lavore Kingdom. Reportedly he was the strongest person among the Elite Knights at once in the entire Lavore Kingdom."

Sylph also added that although people say his level is only around 300s, Xavier once conquered a 350s monster by himself. It happened a few years ago before Sylph was in prison, she estimated that Xavier had already become stronger than back then.

   "You must be kidding me...."

Reus's countenance deteriorated hearing Sylph's explanation regarding the middle-aged man before him. It never crossed his mind even though that he would be dealing with a person as level as Hundred Best Player at his current level.

The most powerful opponent he had ever fought to date was indeed Arshwind who was level 500 at Chaos Lair some time ago, but he managed to deal with the Dragon due to the existence of Blackstar which happened to have been filled by hundreds of high-leveled magic.

Facing someone as high as Xavier without Blackstar for him includes suicide but unfortunately, there is currently no other choice but to fight against Xavier in order to escape.

   "Have you guys finished talking?"

One sentence from Xavier successfully made Reus and Sylph surprised while increasing his vigilance to a higher level. Xavier drew the sword from inside his shield before forming the horses.

"Let's start the fight. I can't wait to find out how strong the person the king acknowledged is to the point of asking me to intervene on my own."

Xavier's lips were still adorned with his gentle smile as he said so.

"Well, if that's what you want!"

Reus raised his sword and darted towards Xavier while exerting Sprint.

"Wait for Reus, don't be rash!"

Sylph wanted to stop the captivated Reus but she was late, Reus had already approached Xavier first.

Reus did not listen to Sylph too much because his attention had been stolen by Xavier. He released Dragon Aura and Swordmaster Aura at Xavier at the same time before swinging his sword which accompanied Dragon Smite.

Reus' attack could already be read by Xavier so that the slash only landed on his white shield. Xavier retreated a few steps thanks to Reus' attack.

"Oh, a heavy slash as well. It's so great to be able to push myself back. There have been people who have done the same thing."

Xavier did not release the smile on his lips as he commented regarding Reus' attack, leaving the silvery-white-haired youth wide open.

Ever since getting the terrible buff from his Special Trait Set Dragon series equipment, Reus had never seen anyone capable of holding back a Dragon Smite like Xavier. The middle-aged man was the first.

"Your first attack is over, isn't it? It's my turn."

Xavier held his sword up high into the air for a while until it gave off a dazzling glowing white light. Reus' eyes narrowed slightly unable to bear such a bright light.

"Divine Sky Sword Art: First Form – Holy Saber!"

Xavier's sword light grew stronger and stronger, he exclaimed for a moment before swinging his sword from afar. The light that had previously shot out from Xavier's sword had now turned into a giant wave of energy slashes that came eyeing Reus swiftly.

Reus managed to dodge the attack in a paper-thin distance thanks to Adrenaline Mode. He could see things a little slower but that didn't mean Reus could move faster.

Jrass!

Reus' left half was partially affected by the attack. Dozens of incision wounds appeared ranging from the cheek to the tip of his left leg.

   "Armgh!"

Reus screamed in pain feeling so sick at the injuries. It was not only the stinging or other pain that he often felt from the sword scratches but there was also a burning feeling in the wound.

So painful Reus shed a single tear to endure all the pain.

   "Reus, are you okay?!"

"Oh, that reaction.... Did you learn any techniques, magic, or skills that contain Dark elements, young man?"

Xavier raised his eyebrows looking at Reus' reaction, his trademark gentle smile now disappearing replaced by a flat but more menacing expression.

Reus was already feeling better thanks to the Sylph-giving Potion. He thanked the young witch before refocusing his attention on Xavier.

"If so, why? Is that a problem for you?"

"Of course it's problematic. You know, my sword technique contains the Light element, the opposite element to your element."

After saying so Xavier disappeared from Reus' sight and reappeared in front of Reus a few steps away.

"You know what that means, don't you?"

Reus had not had time to react, Xavier had already netted another attack. This time it was in the form of a stab at the stomach.

"Divine Sky Sword Art Series: Second Form – Stab the Devil!"

Xavier's sword emitted a dazzling white beam like before just that the light had not turned into an energy wave, but rather a collection of white rays centered at one point then released.

In a single move, Xavier's white beam as well as sword pierced through Reus' stomach without difficulty.

Reus' eyes wide open felt a stabbing accompanied by a burning heat penetrating his stomach. Reus was thrown quite far away after receiving the attack in a landslide. His body rolled on the ground for a while.

   "Geek!"

Sylph wanted to approach Reus who was dying but Xavier did not let her. The middle-aged man moved quickly closer to Sylph and then threw a powerful blow using his shield until Sylph bounced a few meters away.

   "Ba-dangerous...."

Just a word of it came out of Sylph's mouth as she looked at Xavier hatefully before losing her consciousness.

"Don't die with just one strike like that, Sylph de Corvette. We need you alive."

Xavier looked at Sylph who had already lost consciousness with a small smile. He told his subordinates to tie Sylph's hands and feet with anti-magic chains before being taken to the palace.

After Sylph had already been taken care of by her subordinates, Xavier then stepped closer to Reus who was currently lying on the street floor without any manpower with a large hole in his stomach.

"You're satisfied with this result, right? It's time for you to go back to hell, dirty devil."

Xavier put his trademark gentle smile on Reus and then stepped on Reus's face firmly to create a shoe groove on Reus's face.

Xavier spat on Reus' body before turning around and stepping away.

Reus still maintained his consciousness until he received a powerful injunction from Xavier right in the face. His consciousness began to fade at that moment but he still resisted, despite being able to feel intense pain.

   'There's still HP....'

Reus took a deep breath and put all his remaining strength into getting up. It took time for Reus to get up while enduring the terrible pain that burned his stomach.

"Hey...."

Xavier's steps came to a halt when he heard Reus' voice. He looked back, surprised by the figure of Reus who could stand with a large hole in his stomach. But his surprise did not last long.

"You still want to fight with the dying condition like that? Incredible, truly the hallmark of the dark knight, Dark Knight. What a suitable opponent for me who is a Paladin of Light."

Xavier said so while smiling cynically at Reus. He knew Reus would not last much longer and he was also convinced that the young man in front of him would not be able to hurt him, especially under such conditions.

Reus did not care about Xavier's words, he just stepped closer to the man using the sword as a walker. As he was only a few steps away from Xavier, the man spread out his hands with a smile.

"Well, if you're so stubborn, then I'll let you lay down the last attack before you die. I'll take it directly."

Xavier smiled triumphantly at Reus, he clearly thought the young man in front of him could no longer resist but alas, his conjecture was gravely wrong.

Reus smiled slightly before picking up the horses after activating Dragon Power and Dragon Spirit, at the same time the large hole in his stomach had closed in plain sight which successfully made Xavier widen his eyes.

   "You Immortal Being!"

   "Too late! Dragon Fang!"

Xavier did not escape, so Reus' attack hit his body.

Xavier crashed quite far away with a large hole in his armor, while Reus fell to the ground. Her body began to break down into thousands of blue pixels for the second time since she started playing Orbis Online.
