Orbis Online
177. End of Battle

   ""My king!!""

The guards who were about 20 meters away screamed so loudly at the sepuh man's body piercing through Reus' sword, they all glared fiercely from behind their respective head protectors.

The soldiers who were quite far away from the scene widened their eyes watching their king being stabbed by the enemy weapon, some screaming loudly while a small part was simply speechless.

"Baji-ngan! We'll finish you off at this place, right now!"

The six guards that Reus had knocked down earlier were now running as fast as possible with the weapon that had been raised high preparing to split Reus into two parts but before that happened, before that happened, Reus raised his left hand and stopped all their movements.

"Chairman Crystina, can you take care of all of them? I have something to do right now."

   "Is that an emergency?"

"Yes, quite an emergency. It concerns the life of a king here."

Crystina frowned not understanding Reus' words, but she saw with her own eyes that Reus had pulled the king and thrust his sword into the king's body in front of him.

"Chairman Crystina, please hurry. I don't want the situation to be worse than it is now."

Crystina who was lulled in her daydream was made aware by Reus, she then complied with Reus' request to face six Elite Knights at once without questioning it further. Even if he asked Reus to kill the king, it did not mean that he was no longer a fugitive of the Lavore Kingdom after taking out so many soldiers.

Reus nodded slowly and lowered the king's body to the ground, pulling out the sword that stuck in his chest. He then turned to look at Kynel.

"Kynel, give me your best healing magic."

   "healing? For you?"

"Not for me, for this king."

Kynel was a little confused as Reus pointed to the king who was lying weakly on the ground. 'Why did his own killer ask for healing magic on the person he killed himself?' or that's what Kynel was questioning in his head.

"Kynel, do it fast! He could die if you linger!"

Reus's cry surprised Kynel a little, the purple-haired Demon girl immediately ran small towards Reus and gave the best earth healing magic she mastered. Reus also supported Kynel by delivering some high-level Energy Potions.

"How... can you tell... mortal beings?"

While Reus and Kynel were busy healing, the king raised his voice but now there was something different about the king. His white eyeballs had now turned black, while his irises were deep red with a terrifying aura emanating out from his body.

Thanks to that aura Kynel's breathing became constricted, her body also felt pressured by something invisible. Dunk, Crystina, as well as the entire people who were in a radius of about ten to fifty meters felt a similar way.

Reus could feel a terrifying aura from the king's body but he did not feel afraid, instead Reus smiled sinisterly looking at the king's face up close.

"You have an aura similar to that of a Chaos race I once defeated."

The king's eyes widened for a moment before smiling faintly.

"You.... You killed my messenger... Ash's...."

"Congratulations, you didn't miss, Mr Chaos—or might I call you Lucius Maen'ra?"

Reus still had his cynical smile on while the king was wide again, now his expression was clearly filled with anger and astonishment at the same time. He chuckled after a while.

   "What are you laughing at?"

Reus's countenance changed as Lucius Maen'ra disguised King Lavore Kingdom laughed.

"Do as you please. Our plan is only a step away.... Immortal Being like you though. will not be able to stop our plans...."

After saying so the king's eye color returned to normal, he blinked a few times feeling astonished before looking at Reus' face.

   "You... saved me...."

"Sorry King, but I still haven't saved you. Just wait a minute."

"I hope I never use this but what I can do, the situation is forcing."

Reus sighed for a moment and took out a bottle of clear water from the Inventory, stealing Kynel's attention.

   "Reus, what is it?"

   "Look, you'll know."

He uncapped the bottle and dripped a drop of clear water on the king's body, precisely on the wound caused by Reus's previous sword stab. The wound that had been wide open and shed so much blood, had now recovered as before.

Kynel glared great looking at the occult incident just now, never had he seen a similar incident as far as he was playing Orbis Online.

It was not only Kynel who was confused and amazed to see it, even the king himself was also stupefied in disbelief. At the same time the six guards held by Crystina fell silent and did not continue to attack, Crystina was no less surprised to see the incident.

The king rose up slowly aided by the support of Reus' hand, he felt the chest that should have been badly injured but now there was not a single scar. He looked at Reus in amazement.

"Son, what magical potion did you use to save me?"

"You don't need to know, now you better rest first. The blood that has been lost cannot be recovered even with this magical water."

The king nodded slowly following Reus' words. Although he was quite curious about the magic water Reus used, he could not refute Reus' request because his head was now being attacked by a great dizzy thanks to the loss of a certain amount of blood.

Before he lay back to the ground he looked at the six guards who had fought fiercely against Crystina, now none of the six who moved weapons continued the fight.

"I command you as King of Lavore Kingdom, Aulcart von Lavore Reinberg, all troops return now!"

Aulcrat's cry was so loud that every soldier who was there could hear his voice. They put on a confused face not understanding why suddenly their king told them to retreat, when it could be seen that their four opponents were already not in top condition.

Those in the back row may think so, but it is different for those who are in the front just now, they witnessed for themselves how Aulcrat survived with the magic water droplets of the person who was supposed to be their enemy.

Many worries filled the entire army but Aulcrat chose to ignore it, he again lay on the ground as directed Reus felt dizzy in his head became more and more.

"You can come here as long as you don't do anything."

Reus turned to the six guards who were now a little surprised by Reus' invitation, not understanding why Reus took the initiative even though they intended to attack him before.

The state of Aulcrat was prioritized over their curiosity, so the six guards immediately rushed over to Aulcrat after throwing away their weapons signifying not wanting to fight any further.

"Don't be noisy, let him rest in peace. He needs time to recuperate."

The six guards nodded in understanding Reus' words, they could see Aulcrat lying weakly helplessly on the ground. One of them immediately lifted Aulcrat's body and took her to a safer place.

Reus himself sheathed his sword back to his back not intending to continue the battle, other than his already quite tired condition and the many expensive Items he used, the status of the Dur Dragon Slayer Sword did not support him either.

   "Ehm, master swordsman...."

The six guards now looked at Reus with guilty faces, despite not knowing what was happening at least they had a guess as to why Reus had thrown his sword through their king's body and saved it and Aulcrat ordered the entire army to retreat after the battle so far.

"No need to apologize or thank me, I did this for my sake. Your king's condition has something to do with me, I should be the one apologizing for taking out so many of your troops."

Reus could think what they wanted to say so he raised his voice first before causing a misunderstanding that might occur.

The six guards were speechless, they just lowered their heads for a moment to Reus and stepped away after again exclaiming to order their troops to retreat.

"Reus, are you sure it ends this way?"

As the battle situation began to subside, Crystina approached and asked Reus not understanding why Reus had let them go so easily. Dunk and Kynel are also curious about Reus' actions.

"No problem, I'll explain everything when I get back to the inn."

After saying so Reus stepped foot into the city gate lightly, while the three players behind him looked at him in astonishment.
