Blaarr!
A massive burst of streaks followed every Magic Skill that came out of Blackstar towards Arshwind's mouth. Before entering this room Reus had already faced dozens of mob monsters that were much higher than him which included several Mage-class monsters.
Indeed, in terms of level Reus was far below his opponent and automatically he could not absorb the opponent's magic, but Reus' mind thought of something when he saw the magic directed at him. Rather than fending off and absorbing magic completely, could Blackstar devour high-leveled magic bit by bit? When Reus tried it out Blackstar managed to absorb some of the opponent's magic.
Because Reus didn't manage to absorb the opponent's magic perfectly, he did, he chose to finish the fight against the Mage-class Chaos monsters single-handedly to collect high-level powerful magic in order to be stored inside Blackstar later while Dunk took refuge somewhere.
"Graaahh!!"
Again Arshwind gave a pain-filled look, this time he really felt an excruciating pain that was somehow more painful than the attack that landed on his eyes a while ago. Thanks to the back-to-back Magic Skill attacks that Blackstar unleashed, Reus managed to reduce Arshwind's HP by up to 10%.
Ten percent is not much, but if you calculate the status of Vit Arshwind who is a Dragon race monster of level 500 and the defense of his Dragon scales that number includes enormous damage. Just imagine Reus deploying a batch of Magic Skills buried in Blackstar to a mere 150s-leveled player, most likely the player would die without giving a meaningful fight.
Reus landed on the ground perfectly then consumed the HP Potion II and Vigor Potion I to recover his lost HP and stamina. After his HP and stamina recovered quite a lot, Reus again surfed in the air using Hollow Swords intending to tread on Arshwind's head again.
Of course as Arshwind's opponent didn't let that happen then unleashed hundreds of fireballs from his mouth towards Reus. Reus took in as much air as he could and managed the oxygen that went into his lungs into a huge jolt of energy that he put into his legs.
In that instant Reus dashed as fast as lightning and slashed down Arshwind's legs as hard as he could. He knows that attacks on body parts that are protected scales do not cause great damage, but it does not mean useless.
When Arshwind's leg was attacked, the confusion felt that his body could not be moved at all. Reus did not attack to inflict injuries, but rather Blackstar slashes that had been covered in Poison and Stun Potions. Want to be as high as the level will not affect the ability of Stun Potion to frown on freedom of movement for a few seconds.
Reus did not stand still, he grasped the sword of one of his shadows and slid over the Dragon's muzzle. He landed right on Arshwind's nose with a faint smile and thrust Blackstar into the nostrils of this giant creature.
"I know I can't win from you, but at least I want to fight as much as I can."
Right after saying that Reus took out the entire Magic Skill he had gathered inside Blackstar filling up the full Arshwind nose. Of course he immediately jumped away from Arshwind considering that an explosion could have occurred and destroyed his muzzle because of the many Magic Skills that Blackstar had accommodated before.
Arshwind's fiery nose several times then exploded causing a great sound that shook the entire room. Reus, who was far enough away from Arshwind, watched the explosion after explosion with satisfied eyes and curvy lips full of relief.
"At least this is the best I can do."
He only smiled with satisfaction as he sheathed Blackstar followed by the release of Black Form, then sat cross-legged with both hands folded. For Reus to reduce the HP of a high-leveled Dragon monster like Arshwind to about 70% is already a very good thing.
Although it was aided by the hundreds of high-leveled Magic Skills stored within Blackstar, this was the best path he could take right now. There was currently no hope for Reus to reduce Arshwind's HP even more given Blackstar's level, Str status, and damage too little to be able to scratch Arshwind's scales.
Half a minute later the room suddenly became quiet thanks to the collapse of Arshwind to the ground. His HP was still above half of his total, yet he had an attack on his internal organs which caused him to roar full of pain. After all, internal organs are not that easy to cure. Although the Dragon race had incredible regeneration that only applied to its physique, its HP would not increase when this regeneration was activated by itself.
"Did he faint? Should I wake her up?"
Reus was still dumbstruck not hearing a roar or anything like that from Arshwind. Instead of escaping from this place, Reus instead wanted to wake him up thinking Arshwind had fainted thanks to Blackstar's full-strength attack.
The reason why Reus did not run because he did not have enough energy to run while facing many high-level mob monsters at once alone. It was better that he sit quietly in this place waiting for Arshwind to recover and kill him in one strike. That's not a bad idea.
Shortly after that Arshwind again rose from his slumped position and stood upright like he had never been hurt. He narrowed his big eyes to see the figure of a dwarf man who had previously fought all-out against him sitting cross-legged not trying to run away or attack him while he lost consciousness.
Out of curiosity Arshwind stepped his legs closer to Reus followed by a great tremor that shook this room.
"Hey human, what's wrong with you? You're not attacking me like before?"
"I don't think you can speak human language, I've never seen a monster like you speak the language I understand."
"I'm smarter than the other monsters."
"Then why didn't you speak first? I could've stopped attacking you if you asked me to stop."
"Have you ever talked to an ant before?"
"Have you asked me a few times, why are you asking me that?"
Arshwind gasped at Reus' totally unexpected answer. How could a human ever talk to a small ant before? He wanted to bang his head against the floor but undo the intention.
"Forget that. Why did you stop attacking me after attacking so violently earlier? You know, there's never been a human who could make me this far."
Reus coughed a few times before replying.
"Do you expect me to keep attacking you?"
"I thought so, but your actions are what make me curious."
"If you ask me that, I also want to ask. Why don't you attack me again when you're able to destroy me in one breath and I'm silent?"
"I'm curious about the answer to my previous question."
Arshwing breathed heavily from his nose that was brought close to Reus, making the silver-haired player almost flung back. If only he had not grasped the crack in the floor, he might have rolled on the floor a few meters back.
"I've got everything I have and I know that I can't win against you. Our powers are so different."
"Did you give up?"
"Yes, you could say so. At least I've tried my best and know how far I can go."
After getting an answer to his question, Arshwind snorted in annoyance and pulled back his neck but still noticed Reus sitting quietly before him. He felt this young man was very strange.
Usually others will try to run as much as possible or attack blindly because they realize they will not be able to survive when meeting a great monster like the Dragon race, but Reus did not flinch against Arshwind at all. This made Arshwind a little interested in this young man.
A few moments later Arshwind thought of something that came to his mind.
"Hey, are you one of the Immortal Being?"
When hearing Arshwind's question this one Reus' forehead held his breath for a moment followed by his frowning forehead.
