160. Second Death

The first sight Deus saw after continuing to connect in Orbis Online over the past few days was the ceiling of his apartment. His gaze was so empty like a person who had just lost his spirit of life.

It took a while for Deus to regain his consciousness. He shook his head slowly while occasionally patting his own cheeks.

   "Ah, what a horrible experience."

Deus was a little goosebumps as he recalled his last moments as Reus in Orbis Online. Never did he expect that the deaths of these two would end up in the hands of the strongest people in the Bavarian Kingdom.

He took a series of breaths trying to calm himself. After feeling calmer, Deus got up from the bed and did a light stretch. He did not want to sustain any serious injuries after lying down continuously for several days.

Deus opened the curtains of his room letting the sunlight in as soon as he finished his little stretch.

   "I'd better call Ikshan first."

After saying so Deus grabbed his phone and sent a message on the Ikshan Forum Orbis account that he had known for a long time about his death. Of course he did not want his partner to act rashly and die.

In his message Deus also informed about the whereabouts of Xavier who was the leader as well as the strongest person of the Elite Knight and the entire Lavore Kingdom. If you meet him then Deus requires Ikshan to run away with all his might and find a safe place.

   "{Oh man, you're a little late telling him.}"

Unexpectedly Deus, Ikshan immediately replied to his message. Ikshan wrote that he also died but not because of Xavier mentioned by Deus, but rather one of the Elite Knights who used arrows. He attacked Ikshan from a distance while almost reaching the royal treasure room.

Deus patted his forehead not expecting Ikshan to die at almost the same time as him.

   "Well, we're free from prison anyway. At least we'll rise somewhere in Alvast."

Deus sighed after saying so, he then stepped up to his laptop and opened the Orbis Forum, more precisely the online shopping feature available. Deus browsed through Items that sold in the thousands of Byl figures, especially the two-handed large sword-shaped Items.

The reason Deus opened the Orbis Forum and researched the price of the Item was none other than to unlock the price of the Great Grega.

Deus wielded a one-handed sword while the Great Grega was a two-handed sword. Even if he was able to swing the sword using one hand assisted by Telekinesis, its size is too large will be more difficult for Deus in the fight than easy.

The Divine Sky Sword Art Series was not an unfamiliar skill in Deus' mind. He recalled that Randolf, his sword teacher in his two-month training in Orbis Online, created two Series Sword Skills by fusing two different Series Skills.

The skill that Xavier used, Divine Sky Sword Art Series was one of the roots of his Black Sky Sword Art Seris that Randolf had given in addition to the Black Abyss Sword Art Series.

   "Whatever hard I think if I can't beat him then Blackstar won't be able to get back into my hands."

Deus let out a heavy sigh after saying so, his head throbbing slightly as he recalled the two terrifying attacks that Xavier had deployed earlier.

The first attack could cause about 20% of his HP to be lost followed by a large amount of his HP to decrease thanks to the burning effect of the Light element opposite the Dark element, which was the same, while the second attack completely wiped out all of Deus' remaining HP.

If not for the HP he had stored in the HP Stack, perhaps Deus would not have been able to rise again to deliver a final attack.

Thanks to his Special Trait Set of Dragon series equipment, Deus was able to use a terrible skill called Dragonman Form as long as he wore the Dragon series equipment intact.

The reason why Deus didn't use it against Xavier first was that he didn't have time to deploy it. Xavier's movements were too fast until Deus had no time to respond, plus his great strength was a surprise to Deus at the time.

Now that he faced off against the middle-aged man, Deus had already gotten a picture of what Xavier's true strength was.

   "If Dragonman Form plus Dragon Power and Dragon Spirit, then some other skill...."

Deus began calculating how much of a chance he had of winning against Xavier on other occasions with his full strength from the start. The cause of Deus' defeat this time is that he is not too ready and surprised by Xavier's ability to be too expected.

   "The only one who could increase my winning bankroll drastically might just be Ultimate Skill: Joker Field – Ultimate Buff Work."

Deus rubbed his chin for a moment remembering the first and last time he used the skill. He had deployed Joker Field twice after getting it but, not necessarily Xavier was unable to overcome a similar skill Unlimited Buff Work.

Eventually Deus squeezed the paper and threw it in the trash before pulling out another paper and starting to recalculate. This time with everything he had, including the use of Items as well as how to combine skills that were more effective as well as efficient.

As Deus was being messed around by his own calculations, suddenly his doorbell rang loudly startling Deus to the point of almost falling out of the chair.

   "Who came this early in the morning?"

Deus sighed for a moment before getting up close to the door and opening it, successfully making Deus quite surprised to see who the guests who had come so early were.

Behind the open door is a girl younger and shorter than Deus, with a charming face and long brunettes, pigtailed with two twins. Her emerald green eye bead also looked so beautiful like a jewel.

   "Mira's? What are you doing here?"

Yes, the girl is Mira, Deus' younger sister. His face looked pouted, not so pleased with Deus' reaction just now.

   "Why am I here? Didn't I send you a message that I was coming?"

   "Message?"

Deus reached into his pocket to pick up the phone and checked the incoming messages. It is true that there was a message from Mira but she deliberately ignored it because she thought the message was not too important.

Mira could see the reaction of Deus who was now smiling awkwardly at him. She knew what her brother wanted to say so she just sighed.

   "Sister hasn't read my message, has he? Then let me go in and explain it in person to make it easier to discuss."

   "Y-yes."

Deus can only obey. He lets Mira in and waits while she goes to wash herself first, remembering that it had been days since Deus last took a bath.

Mira also had time to protest because the scent of Deus' body was not too tasty so that made Deus hurriedly step towards the bathroom to wash himself.
