187. Aulcrat Request

Reus's eyebrows shot up again, he felt attracted by Aulcrat's words. He put his hands together under his chin while smiling lightly.

"What do you want from me, Your Majesty?"

Aulcrat spontaneously gulped and drew a series of breaths to solidify his resolve before revealing certain desired help from Reus. Sylph also helps explain some of the things Reus may have misunderstood.

Reus listened to Aulcrat and Sylph's words until they were done. When the two finished talking he then sighed heavily feeling a little regretful of having noticed the explanation of the two so seriously.

"So, you want me to deliver a letter and persuade a Dwarf from Bailendra Kingdom to return? Nocht Alvarion's name?"

Aulcrat and Sylph both nodded quickly, making Reus scratch his non-itchy head while sighing long.

"Sorry if it's presumptuous, but may I know why? Looks like this guy's pretty important to you."

Aulcrat and Sylph both looked at each other for a moment before nodding in agreement and telling them everything they knew about Nocht.

Five years ago Lavore Kingdom had a great Blacksmith whose name echoed throughout Plainfest as one of the Miracle Craftmaster, ten figures who were predicted to be the best craftsmen in the entire Plainfest.

The ability to forge Nocht is said to be very great, even reportedly Nocht is able to make a variety of Equip higher quality than the Great Grega easily as long as it has the material and time that is capable.

Thanks to his extraordinary forging abilities, Nocht was appointed as a royal forger by Aulcrat while inviting much jealousy from many countries.

Everything was going well at first, but ever since Lucius Maen'ra who possessed Aulcrat imprisoned Sylph and built altars of darkness in the various corners of Lavore Kingdom, it was not until now, Nocht suddenly disappeared and its existence had not been discovered until a few months ago.

The figure of the Dwarf who has the characteristics of Nocht is seen in Bailendra Kingdom.

'Could it be that this Dwarf named Nocht has a sensitivity to negative energy jets like those of Ash or Lucius Maen'ra?'

A conjecture immediately flashed through Reus' mind when he heard Nocht who had suddenly left the country and left his royal forging post without any meaningful reason from Aulcrat's mouth.

Aulcrat and Sylph could see the frown on Reus' forehead beginning to feel uneasy, worried that Reus was rejecting this request.

The silence reigned for a while before Reus raised his voice again.

"So, why do you want me to bring her here?"

"Mr Reus himself knows that our military strength is quite low compared to the average of other countries as advanced as Plainfest, right? We think with Mr. Nocht's return our military might be enhanced through his weapons."

"Oh, so it seems. I get it."

Reus recalled that the military strength of Lavore Kingdom was indeed lower than the average military strength of the entire kingdom in Plainfest.

According to the information he had read, Reus knew that there were at least 10 large countries and more than 20 small countries scattered throughout the Plainfest, both in the form of royal and imperial monarchies.

If it must be sorted, then Lavore Kingdom can be said to be among the 10 weakest kingdoms in military power, not much different from its neighbor who had been in a hostile relationship, Gavore Kingdom.

Although previously Reus was able to put up quite a strong resistance to the battle against the forces of Lavore Kingdom some time ago, if Lucius Maen'ra who possessed Aulcrat mustered all the strength of Lavore Kingdom then it is unlikely that Reus and the others could survive and even repel the army.

Luckily Lucius Maen'ra planned to gather the power of the Lavore Kingdom so that it could be used as a pawn for the Order of Chaos in the future so that Reus and the others did not face a more difficult battle.

'If you think about it, it is impossible against one country only a few people, unless one party contains the Hundred Best Player entirely.'

Reus rubbed his chin when he realized the level of difficulty against a country with just a few people was huge, he only became fully aware after Blackstar was returned by Aulcrat some time ago.

Reus's gaze was then switched on a semi-transparent panel screen that floated right in front of his face.

'Well, I'm also on my way to Bailendra Kingdom, so why not?'

Muttering inwardly, Reus agreed to Aulcrat and Sylph's request which made both of them exclaim with joy.

Neither Aulcrat nor Sylph could leave despite wanting to take care of the chaos of their country thanks to the fighting a few days ago as well as the protest of the citizens who did not accept the existence of the altar of darkness forbidden in Lavore Kingdom, so that they are glad that a trustworthy person accepts this request.

"Bailendra Kingdom by the way, maybe Mr. Reus needs this."

Aulcrat took out a sealed royal envelope and gave it to Reus, while the young man was a little confused.

"Is this the letter I'm going to give you?"

"No, it was a letter of recommendation that Mr. Reus could enter the Bailendra Kingdom without any problems."

Reus' forehead immediately shriveled at Aulcrat's sudden statement.

"Is Bailendra Kingdom tightening the border?"

   "It can be said that."

Aulcrat then explained that Bailendra Kingdom was currently in hot conflict with the kingdom to the east, Menschrein Kingdom.

The Menschrein Kingdom was one of the largest and most powerful nations to dominate the Northern Plainfest. Reportedly the human race is considered superior to other races in the country, even the High-Human race is so admired by its inhabitants as gods.

All races other than humans were second-class races that were treated as nothing more than slaves or pets in the Menschrein Kingdom.

While Aulcrat was still recounting how cruel the Menschrein Kingdom's population was to a race other than humans, Reus suddenly took Aulcrat's words with a serious face.

"Maybe the matter of these two countries...."

"Right, Mr. Reus. We're pretty sure that's the root cause of these two countries' problems."

Reus, who had been silent and calm, listened to the apocalypse immediately, knowing the cause of the feud between Bailendra Kingdom and Menschrein Kingdom.

Reus had long understood the two most basic and most troublesome human traits, namely greed and arrogance.

Until now it was recorded that the human race was the most widely spread race in the entire Plainfest. Of course, because of this number, humans become arrogant and feel invincible, especially for people who are indoctrinated with 'human superiority'.

Although Reus was not a good man, such a doctrine of racial superiority was one of the things he hated the most.

It was actually not too much of a problem for him if the Menschrein Kingdom imposed another race as a second-rate race as long as it was not too excessive, either, but in fact the practice in that place actually exceeded the shadow of Reus—, according to what he heard from Aulcrat.

From a little explanation Aulcrat alone Reus can already guess what is the basis of the hostility between Bailendra Kingdom and Menschrein Kingdom to ignite a great war that may occur between the two.
