172. Main Battle III

The battle between the Berserker and the Paladin of Light was enough to make Reus feel calmer, he could see Crystina dominating the fight so far.

   "The player doesn't include the Hundred Best Player? What about those who are called that?"

Reus gave a dry smile as he watched as Crystina's last successful attack sent Xavier far enough off after taking one of his opponents' lives.

   "How dare you turn your attention away from us!"

One of the soldiers raised his sword high intending to split his opponent when he saw Reus not paying attention to him, while the silver-haired young man himself sighed before casually swinging his sword.

   "Are you really Lavore Kingdom's main force? Why do you always yell out loud when you try surprise attacks?"

The sword of Reus successfully killed the warrior in one swing. If the soldier's face was not covered by the head protection, then Reus could see a look full of shock and disbelief on his face.

After Reus managed to kill their comrades with a single strike, the soldiers became hesitant to approach and attack Reus. None of them would volunteer to die like that.

Their hesitation was instead taken advantage of by Reus, he gulped down some high-level HP Potions and Energy Potions.

Reus's fighting style did emphasize 'attack and dodge' but, not all of the opponent's attacks he managed to avoid. With Dex's status and the nimble movements he had, at least Reus was able to dodge fatal attacks that allowed him to lose more HP.

Moreover, with the Dragon Scale Cloak which is the result of Ikshan's reshuffle against the Dragon Scale Armor, Reus is able to move more freely with a fairly high defense.

   "Look! He consumed HP Potions and Energy Potions! If it were to be attacked continuously then he would weaken!"

   "Really! We can beat him!"

   "Siege him! Attack simultaneously!"

The morale of the soldiers increased when he saw Reus consuming Potions in the pause time. They immediately advanced and attacked simultaneously while unsheathing the weapons on Reus at a time.

On the other hand Reus smiled faintly in response to the actions of his opponents before raising his left hand forward.

   "You never learn."

In an instant dozens of soldiers who were about to attack Reus simultaneously were thrown into the sky up to 20 meters away, then fell back to the ground. Some fell with their heads and necks first and died instantly, while the rest suffered a lot of fractures.

If not for the iron armor they wore, then all of those soldiers would have died in one fell swoop.

Reus himself did not waste his opponent's doubt, he lunged towards one of the enemy crowd while swinging his sword fiercely. None of his opponents managed to survive more than four strikes.

Reus' actions once again caused deep despair for the brave Lavore Kingdom forces, until a certain incident shocked them.

   "Shield Dash!"

Together with a loud-sounding exclamation, a large tall figure ran towards Reus with a giant-sized shield in front of him.

Reus was a little surprised at the appearance of the figure, but he was able to respond to it. Reus stepped forward as he turned his body and fused the swings of his two swords together in one direction.

   "Double Anchor!"

Braak!!

The clash between the two swords and the huge shield gave rise to a huge shockwave that caused the soldiers around them to be thrown out of place. Reus and the masked figure clashed with each other after the collision just now.

The two of them clashed for a few seconds before Reus took a long leap back, preferring to budge instead of continuing to clash and lowering the status of the Dur Dragon Slayer Sword and Sword of Tartaros more.

   "Seeing from the kind of attack and your giant shield, you're a Shieldmaster, aren't you?"

The figure raised his shield to the side showing his form so large and tall, perhaps reaching two meters less. Not only is the height large, but the figure also features armor whose design is different from other warriors.

After saying so Rolfgar again ran with his Dash Shield once again intending to lash at Reus but, this time while shouting loudly.

Reus wanted to step off the path of Rolfgar's run but his body did not respond, successfully making his eyes wide.

Reus, unable to move for some reason, becomes the easy target of Rolfgar's shield. He was thrown and rolled on the ground several meters away.

   "What the fuck just now...."

Reus tried to get up from his position while enduring the pain all over his body but had not had time for Reus to stand up completely, heard another scream from Rolfgar. Reus' body once again did not respond to his brain commands.

Reus did not have time to digest what happened to him when Rolfgar came and hit Reus' body once again using his large shield. Reus was thrown back, this time even further than before.

Thanks to that heavy attack the HP parameters of Reus were at dangerous limits.

   "Urghs.... It hurts."

Reus swallowed all the screams of his pain and got up to his feet as quickly as possible, his gaze shifted to the figure of Rolfgar who was running fast towards him.

   "I don't know how you did it but, I won't let your third strike succeed that easily! Telekinesis!"

Reus raised his left hand forward exerting Telekinesis. At the same time, Rolfgar's movements stopped, but the threat around Reus did not.

   "Now! Attack her!"

The soldiers who were not far from there ran up to Reus with their weapons. Reus could see that and immediately swung his sword with Energy Wave but before he slashed his sword, Rolfgar once again shouted.

The scream made Reus' body again unresponsive, his sword halted over his shoulder ready to swing but there was no sign of continued movement.

The soldiers who were ready to receive the attack did not feel any attack, it made them continue to run closer to Reus and thrust their attacks deeply on the young man with a crushing. He was thrown quite far away thanks to him.

   'What the fuck....'

Reus was wide open in disbelief at what had happened to him. When Reus was able to regain control of his body, his gaze grew blackened. He saw his HP parameters almost touch zero.

He hurriedly absorbed the HP that had been stored in the HP Stack quite a lot until the number on his HP parameters reached 10%.

   "What's really happened since?"

Reus rose to his feet while consuming a high level HP Potion. His gaze could not be separated from Rolfgar who was standing upright with his giant shield. The soldiers behind Rolfgar who had felt the terror of Reus were now more excited and alive thanks to these successive events.

Rolfgar was wearing a protective head covering his face, Reus could not see what expression was attached to Rolfgar's face at the moment but one thing Reus knew, Rolfgar did not laugh or underestimate him. The aura around Rolfgar was so serious and sharp.

   "You're very tough for a small person with a small level, even though the attack just now should have been able to kill you."

Reus did not respond to Rolfgar's words, he was busy gulping down a bottle of high-tier HP Potion again filling up his HP parameters. Now the parameters of HP Reus have almost touched the number 90%.

After finishing the Potion bottle, Reus looked at Roflgar with a razor sharp gaze.

   "What did you do to me?"
