Orbis Online

Orbis Online
73. A trap?

After several hours of continuing the journey around the inside of the Dungeon, Reus and Dunk experienced a fairly large and fast level increase when viewed from the current level size—especially Dunk. In addition to getting a level increase Reus also managed to get many drop items that were quite selling in the market of alchemists Orbis Online.

Actually Reus does not want to sell these materials because he has Alchemy skills, but for now he has not been able to make Potions made like this. Besides his level was not enough, the kind of Potions that could be made from these materials were also he did not know.

So he decided to sell these materials.

Unfortunately although Reus got many drop items that he could sell to the Alchemist classy players out there, he did not get any drop items that were useful to him in the slightest. How irony.

"Dunk, how did you get mobbed by a Zombie Knight when we met?"

"Ah, it's because I'm practicing using my Pyro Arts."

Note: Magic Arts from Elemental Rune that Dunk got changed to Pyro Arts because the author forgot to edit (actually unedited, actually, just forgot + spontaneous give name even though it has been named Pyro Arts since a long time)

While saying that, Dunk raised his left hand which suddenly burned for no apparent reason. Reus almost jumped in shock at the fire that appeared suddenly in Dunk's hand, but he thought it was natural considering that Dunk had a fire-type Elemental Rune.

"How does it feel? Can you manipulate that fire freely without depending on skill?"

"No, I can't. According to the description of using the Elemental Rune, to manipulate its elements at least the level of Pyro Arts should reach 2-1."

   'Isn't that far away?'

Reus sighed while dropping his shoulders knowing Dunk's disappointing answer. Although indeed players can manipulate the elemental power of the Elemental Rune, to reach that level takes a short time. Just look at the reality of Reus' Alchemy skill that he often used even recently leveled up to 2-1.

Unwilling to think about it any longer, Reus rose to his feet and began to set foot down the Dungeon's passageway. Dunk who saw that also stood up and followed Reus with a carefree expression.

"Alright, I think the rest is enough. Let's go and find a stronger mob monster."

   "Well, Temperature!"

***

After about four hours of walking down the Dungeon's hallway while chopping down every Undead they encountered, they finally found a large gate that looked creepy. Reus suspects that this gate is a Dungeon Boss room, considering in mainstream RPG games this pattern is often found.

Currently the two players were standing in front of the gate like they were about to enter it but did not dare. It was not that they did not dare to enter it, it was just that Dungeon Bosses were usually extremely powerful and their own status exceeded the level they possessed. It was quite cheating in various ways.

   "I'm ready anytime, Temperature!"

Reus could only smile wryly at the rapid response of Dunk the muscle brain. After all, sooner or later he would enter the room that was supposedly the Dungeon Boss's room because of his mission that required him to eradicate an unknown mysterious monster in the forest west of Bayfrost.

Although he did not know if this Dungeon Boss was the mysterious monster that his Special-Class rights-taking Quest meant, however, but at least he knew that the monsters inside could make him complete the Quest given from the mayor of Bayfrost. Getting a Reward in the form of a sword and ring was quite useful, at least if it was not so useful then he could sell it as a rare item.

Before deciding to enter this Dungeon Boss room, Reus sat down and checked the contents of his Inventory first. His HP Potion I was still above the 200s mark, while his HP Potion II numbered below 50. For those of him who are high enough level, HP Potion II will be much needed than HP Potion I because the number of HP has increased dramatically since he just started his adventure in this virtual world.

In addition to HP Potions, he also checked the amount of Energy Potions, Poison, Stun Potions, as well as Vigor Potions. Everything was at a safe number to face a Dungeon Boss without exception. Previously Reus had bought many Vigor Potion I and a number of Vigor Potion II just in case he managed to find the Dungeon Boss room.

The money he had was already quite a lot, but when he spent it by buying Vigor Potion I and II, his tears began to drip bit by bit while muttering 'ironically, once, wasting money is easier than getting it', while Dunk pretends not to see it.

After Reus finished examining the contents of his Inventory, he decided to open this gate and face what was inside. Dunk immediately agreed to Reus' opinion with vigor in a flash—remembering he was indeed a muscle brain.

The screen of consensus has been stretched, Reus and Dunk pushed the gate together until it opened.

As soon as the gate opened, there was nothing to see in the room. Wh why? That is because the absence of the slightest illumination reaches the retina of their eyes from there. Moreover, none of them possessed the Night Vision skill or anything like that could see in the darkness clearly.

   "Torch."

When one word was uttered, Dunk's left hand let out a fire and formed a torch made entirely of fire. It was one of the special skills of fire-type Elemental Rune users who had a much brighter illumination ability compared to ordinary flames. Thanks to that, the room that Reus suspected as the Dungeon Boss room began to look quite clear.

They stepped forward satisfying their curiosity about this room— especially Reus who looks very meticulous and immediately pay attention to every corner of the room.

There was nothing special about this room except a chair made of empty stone at the end of the room in front of them. In addition to the chair that fills this room is only the debris of rocks that may come from the weathered ceiling and begin to slowly collapse.

"It looks like this room is just a completely empty room."

"But, isn't this a little weird, Temperature? Shouldn't the temple not have such a throne?"

"This temple is an ancient temple, no wonder that ancient cultures and medieval cultures have significant differences."

Dunk just nodded softly at Reus's opinion. Although Reus was heard to refute Dunk's suspicions, he tried to check the name of this place once again to make sure that they were actually still inside Ambora Temple.

Chaos Lair

The main nest of the Chaos race monsters is rarely seen in the world.

Level 130

---

   "What the fuck?!"

Instantly, Reus screamed with all his might, unable to overcome his shock. How not? Previously they were still fighting the Undead horde outside this room and were inside the Dungeon Ambora Temple, yet now they were entering a new Dungeon named Chaos Lair who was level 130s? That is a terrible and fatal thing!

"Oi Dunk, we need to hurry out of this room! This room is too high level for us right now!"

   "really?"

"Don't look so calm, damn muscle brain!"

The frantic Reus immediately grabbed Dunk's collar and ran as fast as he could out of the room while dragging his party members. But when they got outside, everything changed.

There were no more Undead mob monsters, there were only a few horned humanoid creatures on the head, had a tail above the waist, dark-skinned purplish, and, then carrying a trident-type spear was strolling around.

Seeing this Reus could only fall silent unable to move at all thanks to a completely unexpected shock.

   "Our moult."
