173. The Main Battle IV

   "Simple, I used my skill to cripple you. What are you surprised about?"

Rolfgar raised his voice feeling Reus' question needed him to answer before returning to prepare his huge shield while running as fast as possible.

Reus on the other hand bit his lips for a moment, he had never heard of any skill capable of crippling an opponent just by shouting like Rolfgar did.

It was true that with Dragon Aura or Swordmaster Aura, Reus was able to lower his status and even cripple his opponents in an instant, but what he felt towards Rolfgar's skill since then were two different things.

Reus sighed for a moment and raised his sword again, he drew and released a series of breaths to increase his concentration. Reus's view now looks more focused and sharp.

   "Shield Dash!"

Roflgar again shouted loudly while running fast, making Reus' body again not respond to his wishes. Different from before, this time Reus did not seem to panic or worry.

   'My body cannot be moved like it is locked, skill cannot be deployed, but strangely my Adrenaline Mode is still running normally.'

Reus analyzed the events on his body calmly regardless of Rolfgar's approaching arrival. When Reus had understood enough, his gaze was now shifted to a yellow lightning symbol that was next to his HP parameters.

   'Stun's? Only with a roar could he give Stun status to an opponent?'

Reus wanted to be wide-eyed in surprise at Rolfgar's ability but his body did not respond, until Rolfgar hit him so hard using a shield that Reus was thrown and rolled on the ground several dozen meters back.

   "Oh... My HP is down more than ever."

After being attacked Reus was able to control his body back, he wiped the blood dripping from his lips. Reus felt pain all over his body as if warning his body could not survive more than this.

Reus instantly consumed the HP Potion to replenish around 30% of his HP that was lost thanks to the attack just now.

   "You're really human? I've never seen a human being able to survive this much from my Dash Shield other than a Xavier chairman and Elite Knight a big shield user like me."

   "Ah, I am a human being, but not an ordinary human being."

Reus stored the Sword of Tartaros back into the Inventory before activating the Hollow Swords and fusing the five semi-transparent black swords in his left hand.

   "I'm a creature you call an Immortal Being."

After saying so Reus darted towards Rolfgar using Sprint. Reus disappeared from Rolfgar's sight for a moment before reappearing to the left of the tall man and then unsheathed the sword in his left hand.

   "Dragon's Fang!"

Reus's stabbing attack successfully knocked Rolfgar several steps away. Rolfgar screaming in pain could feel the attack just now being able to pierce through his thick armor. He fell to his knees one foot on the ground.

Rolfgar held onto his left abdomen while enduring the pain, he turned his gaze to Reus about to shout exerting his paralyzing skill once again but before that, Reus again disappeared from his sight.

   "Who are you looking for?"

Reus' voice rang out from behind Rolfgar, leaving the man shocked. Rolfgar had not had time to react and raise his shield, Reus had already given six powerful slashes in a short time right on Rolfgar's back.

   "Aumurghh!"

Rolfgar was once again thrown by Reus' attack but unfortunately, Reus did not stop there.

   "Telekinesis!"

Reus pulls Rolfgar's armor closer to him before it is thrown too far. By the time the ideal distance was reached between himself and the opponent, Reus once again swung the Dragon Slayer Sword, now accompanied by Dragon Smite.

   "Black Sky Sword Art Series: First Form – Black Cloud!"

The six slashes were once again successful in beating Rolfgar who was now in excruciating pain.

   "I'm not finished!"

Not wanting to give Rolfgar a chance to react or shout, Reus again pulled Rolfgar's armor and landed six similar attacks on Rolfgar's armor. After the attack, Reus releases Rolfgar, but instead of just being released, he throws Rolfgar a few feet into the sky using Telekinesis.

Reus' breathing faltered after his final attack.

Reus could see his Energy parameter almost touching zero after deploying Black Cloud three times in a row. Not only his Energy, even his stamina was also drained not a bit.

   "Look! He mustered all his abilities against Lord Rolfgar! He must be exhausted!"

   "Yes, attack him!"

   "flour! Attack him at the same time!"

The soldiers around had no intention of throwing away the opportunity that came just this once, they immediately advanced and surrounded Reus from various sides before launching an attack simultaneously.

   "They can't wait."

Reus wanted to grumble to see the soldiers besieging him but he realized, in a battle all could happen.

Before all these attacks hit him, Reus deployed Telekinesis on himself and pulled his body up into the sky. He floated a few meters above the ground.

   "Let me give you something! Poison Breath!"

Reus released a purple poisonous gas from his mouth at the opponents below, sending them scurrying away from the location.

   "These skills are not very strong, but are effective at repelling kroco-kroco like them."

After saying so Reus took out a few bottles of high-level Energy Potion from Inventory and directly consumed them above the air without releasing Telekinesis. He also took the time to drink Vigor Potion to recover his stamina.

As Reus' condition began to improve, various magic attacks and a rain of arrows shot towards him from quite a distance away. That made Reus click his tongue.

   "Assistance forces? In a considerable amount."

Reus raised his left hand forward deploying Telekinesis on the bunch of raining arrows, using it to repel some magic attacks. It is not very effective but it is enough to blow up some magic that leads to it.

Reus directed Telekinesis at his body in order to float to another place avoiding any magic that was chasing him. Telekinesis power consumption is indeed increasing in this way but under current conditions, Reus does not have much choice.

Thanks to the Telekinesis ability Reus managed to avoid some of the magic attacks directed at him, unfortunately the amount of magic seemed to not decrease. The magic that is chasing him is increasing.

    "Fucking magic user!"

Reus could not help but curse, he flew faster using Telekinesis but the opposing magic kept chasing him. Under these circumstances Reus only realized how important the existence of Blackstar that was able to absorb magic was to him.

When Reus is quite cornered by some magic chasing after him, he suddenly gets an idea.

   "It's gonna be harder than escaping all this magic."

Reus gulped for a moment before beginning to direct Telekinesis to push his body flying towards the batch of relief troops that had just arrived. Their numbers were not small at all, perhaps more than a thousand people.

   "He's coming! Archers and witches, drop him!"

The leader of the force loudly called for his troops to shoot Reus. Although he had initially complained of being asked by the king to capture a few people with this amount of troops, now the leader was aware that the ability of the person in question was indeed worthy of being faced with over a thousand people.

The auxiliary troops immediately fired long-range magic and rained arrows at Reus, unaware that Reus was being chased by some follower magic.

   "I'm happy for your gift, but I'm sorry, I have to give it back."

Reus directs Telekinesis on his body swooping towards the relief force while being pursued by the magic-magic followers. In the last moments Reus stopped his body in the air for a moment and flew himself back up into the sky as quickly as possible.

The soldiers were amazed by Reus' mobility and curious how Reus works but had not yet had time to find an answer, some magic that had been chasing Reus from behind landed on the line of soldiers.
