37. Strategy Meeting

About an hour's walk, the Raid troops followed by Reus arrived at the village of Viredeta, which is thought to be the headquarters of the Monstrous Invasion near Livetuna. The Raid Chief decided to set up a camp that was about a kilometer away from the village of Viredeta.

The party leader distributed camping equipment to every party that followed this Raid. Even so, it does not mean they give it away for free. They also charge about 1,500 Byl per tent. That big pay is not so expensive and all players agree.

"Np? Reus, didn't you buy the tent from the chairman of the Dalon?"

"No. Instead of sleeping I prefer to keep watch or level up."

"Oh, that means camp is not like that. The camp at this place was only to wait for information from the scout section investigating the Viredeta village."

   "Register squad?"

"They were made up of four high-capable Thief class players who had already left first to scout the target spots. While waiting for them the chairman suggested we rest and recover here while the party leaders discussed the assault strategy."

Reus nodded softly at Kynel's explanation. Indeed the decision made by the chairman of the Dalon was appropriate considering there was no way to recover stamina in this world except to rest. Then, waiting for the information that has been verified the truth is indeed the right step.

While waiting, Reus took a sitting position and made several tens of bottles of HP Potion I in a somewhat quiet place. Since the resting place that Reus and Kynel took was quite far away and alienated from other players, this was a golden opportunity for Reus.

   "Reus, are you an Alchemist?"

   "No, I'm a Swordsman."

"But why can you make Potions? Isn't it just the Alchemist class that can make Potions?"

"Ah, I coincidentally got an Alchemy skill that allows me to make Potions without having to take an Alchemist class."

Finished explaining, Reus again made HP Potion I and several other Potions that he could make. In front of him was Kynel who was paying attention to the way Reus made various Potions which was only that instant. Reus himself can understand Kynel's curiosity to see it carefully.

After his Potion-making activities were completed, Reus opened his Inventory and took something from there.

   "What is that, Reus?"

   "This? HP Potion II Recipe."

"You want to make HP Potion II?"

"Not making, but rather learning the ways and materials. My Alchemy skill level isn't enough for that."

"Heh, I just found out that production-grade special skills also have levels."

Ignoring Kynel, Reus put his concentration on the HP Potion II Recipe sheet he bought from the Orbis Forum some time ago. Although his Alchemy level did not support him making HP Potion II, Reus only wanted to know the ingredients alone so that he could prepare in advance the day before his Alchemy leveled up.

For Reus's current financial condition, that number is not so much considering his savings that have not been converted into real money at the Orbis Forum are still quite a lot.

"Oh yeah, who's our party leader?"

Pork!

The sound of Kynel suddenly falling down for no apparent reason. Reus who witnessed that could only fall into a silent daze while wondering inwardly, why could Kynel fall like that?

***

After a little discussion, Reus relented and headed to the meeting of the party leaders. He and Kynel had a fight over who was the party leader, but because Reus who invited him into the party automatically Reus was the party leader appointed by the system.

Reus actually did not want to be the party leader because he thought being the leader was troublesome. If the subordinates are wrong, surely the leader is affected by the impact of the person on it. Then, a leader must also prepare difficult strategies in any case. There are still many other things that make Reus does not want to be the chairman or leader.

But because the system appointed him and Kynel refused to take the post, Reus could only budge while grumbling.

Currently he was walking through other players who were resting in their respective tents heading to a special tent place prepared for the party leaders as a place to strategize. While walking, he was noticed by the players who were resting.

At first glance, Reus looks very ordinary with the Equip he wears, but that makes the attention of other players centered towards him because of the Ice Golem Gauntlets and Ice Golem Boots he wears. Why would a Swordsman armed with a sword as the main weapon use Gauntlets and Boots as his weapon? Whereas Gauntlets and Boots are the main weapons used by the Monk class, Fighters, and the like.

Reus himself knows that the Equip he wears is unnatural for most players, but that is what makes him special. A Swordsman armed with swords, Gauntlets, and Boots at the same time? It wouldn't be strange if they found out that Reus can make Potions like Alchemist players.

Ignoring the views of the other players, Reus stepped into a tent large enough for ten people inside at once.

When he entered the tent, several players were gathered at the same table. Reus who suddenly entered it made the attention of the players inside the tent diverted to him. They were both shocked and confused at the same time.

Before a misunderstanding occurred, Reus immediately raised his voice to the player at that place.

"Ehm, I'm one of the party leaders in the back row. I heard the party leaders are conducting a strategy meeting, so I'm here to join this meeting."

"Oh, I just found out that there are still other party leaders besides us. Then please take a place to join."

Reus nodded at the reply of a handsome male player who appeared to be extremely charismatic, unraveling a golden-blonde yellow, bearing bright blue eyes, a fairly proportional body, with a shiny gold bow on his back. It seemed like that player was the chairman leading the Raid this time around.

Reus immediately joined them after getting a seat, then listened to their discussion.

Although he does not want to be a leader, at least Reus is a person who is quite responsible for what position he fills sincerely or not.
