41. Black Forms

An explosion along with a small vibration shook the place where Reus was standing just a moment ago.

   "Huaah, I almost got a K.O for a second."

Fortunately Reus was able to avoid at the last moment so that he was not attacked by a landslide. Just imagine if Reus couldn't dodge, maybe he had already become flat on the ground.

After dodging, Reus noticed the monster figure that attacked him first. From the sound and the size of the shadows, it was most likely that these monsters were gigantic-sized races like Giant or Troll.

As expected, the figure of the attacker was an NPC with a Troll race. One of the races available for the player to choose as his race when the beginning of entering the world of Orbis Online.

Trolls are one of the races with a giant size in Orbis Online which can reach three meters in height. Usually these races are endowed with high Str and Vit status, but Dex and Int are low.

The Troll Race was usually a race that was often viewed as monsters and was not very liked by the NPCs of any race. Because mob monsters with Troll races are usually very barbaric and like to destroy anything in front of him so it is almost not accepted by any NPC.

The troll in front of Reus was currently a human-like form about two and a half meters tall, pale skin, thin but distended, wearing a brown cloth on his waist, and carrying a large wooden mace. These trolls have ranges from 30 to 40.

   'Troll, huh? Str and Vit are high, then resistance to fire is quite troublesome.'

Although Reus was not a Mage-class player or anything like that, he could utilize the fireballs thrown by other monsters. He knew that the Troll was using the fire magic skill earlier, but another monster that roughly had the status of a high Int and classy Mage or the like.

Could it be the Goblin Shaman? The possibilities are quite large considering that Goblins and Hobgoblins have already mastered the Wolf Plain near Livetuna. But when it comes to possibilities, the greatest opportunity is a monster with Haunter class that has fire element magic skills.

Haunter is one of the Bronze-Class classes that look like Mage and Enchanter, but the difference is Haunter is a class that relies on help from spirits to attack or defend—but not some kind of Necromancer. The ghost that made Reus shocked earlier was one of the basic magic skills of the Haunter class.

   "Guhaa!"

The Troll again swung his wooden mace vertically targeting Reus, but due to his fairly slow movement the target had already moved away. As a result, the slow, powerful attack only destroyed Reus's foothold just a moment ago.

Reus who did not want to miss this golden opportunity landed three slashes accompanied by Swing in a duration of seven seconds. For a classy player like the Swordsman whose status was centered on Str and Dex, fighting a low-speed monster was fine.

Unfortunately, the three attacks that accompanied the Swing did not have such a huge impact. Reus can see the Troll's HP bar only reduced by about 6. He clicked his tongue looking at this unfavorable situation of his.

The Hollow Swords that were stalking him had already vanished before the Troll attacked and until now the cooldown had not been completed. This made Reus a little troubled. Despite having such a great Blackstar for a beginner like himself, Reus could only buy time while enduring to get the Enchant effect from his sword to get stronger.

   'Then there's no choice but to use it, huh?'

Reus showed an annoyed expression knowing he was in high difficulty even just for fighting a Troll. He knew there was only one way that could increase his strength drastically. Yes, using the Bonus Skill given by Blackstar, Black Form.

He tightly grasped Blackstar, then raised his voice.

   "Black Form: On."

At once the air around Reus was blown violently to make the grass, bushes, and tree branches there sway. It was as if something black was creeping from Reus' right palm, which was grasping Blackstar and spreading out to cover his body almost entirely.

Reus' current appearance looks like he is wearing a deep black cloak jacket with small purple dots in some places, but it seems that it is not just an ordinary robe jacket.

He realized this and immediately dodged because it was impossible to withstand such a devastating attack, it was possible that Dur Blackstar's status would instantly plummet.

Reus not only dodged, but he also deployed a Flash Swing slash that made himself instantly behind the Troll.

He who had just realized he was already on the back side of the Troll was shocked. Since this was the first time Reus had tried Black Form, it was no wonder that he himself was surprised. He never knew that just getting an extra 50% on Str and Dex status could make a difference to this extent.

This made Reus managed to regain his confidence that had faded earlier.

But not a second after he slashed the Troll, again a fireball shot from the shadow of a tree in the forest before him. Unfortunately, Reus was able to see the trajectory of the ball which then slashed it using Blackstar.

Through that slash, the fireball that was about to hit Reus even disappeared was absorbed by the black sword of the white-haired player. Reus who had absorbed the fireball chose to turn it into Energy so that his Energy bar recovered until it was almost full.

Reus then turned around and gave five Swing slashes as he could to the Troll behind him, then added five Hollow Swords slashes whose cooldwon duration had been exhausted.

In the end Reus combined the five shadow swords into one and took them with his left hand. He gave a 360-degree rotating attack with Swing on his opponent's back.

Since Hollow Swords did not include Equip like swords and were a skill, the system did not activate Self Dual Wielding.

After the swirling slash earlier, Reus leaped as high as the Troll and swung the Blackstar and Hollow Swords simultaneously splitting this two-meter tall monster. As a result, the two right and left halves of the Troll fell in opposite directions.

However, Reus did not forget the one monster that had been lurking and preparing his fire attack from the direction of the forest. He immediately ran towards the exit of the fireball was chasing him into the forest.

In less than ten seconds, he could see a Goblin with Magic Staff and a transparent glass ball containing a speck of red flame burning inside.

Needless to investigate or waste time, Reus instantly slashed his neck using the two swords he was holding at the moment. Instantly, the Goblin's head separated from its body and fell to the ground in a lifeless state.
