Sylph came to a quick conclusion after listening to Reus' explanation of everything that had happened outside during the past few times.
"So, our real enemy is the Order of Chaos?"
"True, and their strength is terrible. We will need all the help we can have, otherwise the world can fall into their hands."
Reus added that similar events almost occurred in the past, precisely a few hundred years ago where Harleina, Arshwind, Randolf, and his group fought against the Order of Chaos.
Sylph pondered on Reus' words ensuring his heart, but only for a moment. A while later he looked back at Reus this time with a confident look.
"Okay, I'll help. I'm doing this so that my late wife and citizens can rest in peace in nature."
"No problem, any help will be sorely needed."
Reus smiled broadly in response to Sylph's wishes, he got up and walked over to Aulcrat and his three guards. He immediately conveyed that Sylph was willing to cooperate in fighting against the Chaos Order.
Aulcrat seemed so surprised and enthusiastic to hear this good news. He had looked into Lucius Maen'ra's mind, he knew full well what the Order of Chaos was so strong that getting help from someone as strong as Sylph was extremely joyful.
"But I don't know what he wants in return for his services. Perhaps he was demanding the death penalty against the nobles who were involved with his matter."
"No problem, it would be more peaceful if one or two rotten noble heads disappeared."
Aulcrat said so with a small laugh ignoring the reaction of the three guards who looked so shocked behind their face armor. At first glance Aulcrat sounded joking because his words were accompanied by laughter, but the three of them were able to tell all the words Aulcrat had spoken were seriousness.
Reus only smiled for a moment in response to Aulcrat's remarks, he himself agreed that such a flammable rotten noble of jealousy was not necessary in a state order.
After a short conversation, Aulcrat orders the prison warden to free Sylph, both from her cell and an anti-magic chain that holds her hands and feet together. The prison guard immediately put Aulcrat's orders in order despite fear of releasing someone as strong as Sylph.
"So, what can I give you in return for you, Mr Reus?"
"Just return the black sword taken from me, if it's not wrongly stored in the royal treasury."
Aulcrat rubbed his chin for a moment recalling the black sword Reus had intended.
"Oh, that black sword. Of course I can return the sword, but it should be returned to your hands. Do you have any other wishes besides that?"
This time it was Reus' turn to rub his chin thinking of another request. In fact Reus's only purpose of visiting the palace was to get back Blackstar taken from him, persuading Sylph was only a secondary purpose so he was confused if asked so.
A few moments later, an idea came to his mind.
"What if you banish Gaia's Tree from this kingdom?"
"Exorcising Gaia's Tree?"
Aulcrat looked down on Reus' request, of course this was not easy for him considering lately Gaia's Tree is helping their kingdom in various fields, especially in the military and economic fields.
The small smiling Region responded to Aulcrat's reaction, he had already guessed it wasn't easy to get rid of an intermediate Legion like Gaia's Tree. Although only a branch, the power of Gaia's Tree includes great help for kingdoms such as Lavore Kingdom.
"If you object to that, what if you accept Crimson Castle as his successor?"
"Crimson Castle? That Crimson Castle?"
"Oh, of course, Mr. Reus! Sure did! With pleasure!"
Aulcrat seemed so happy to know Crimson Castle was about to open a branch in his kingdom, of course he immediately agreed to Reus' request to kick Gaia's Tree from Lavore Kingdom.
Crimson Castle is one of the great Legions that is quite famous both among players and NPCs, it is difficult to find a kingdom the size of Lavore Kingdom that will reject an offer like this.
Without much questioning Aulcrat immediately ordered one of his guards to leave and informed his subordinates to terminate the cooperation contract with Gaia's Tree as soon as possible, then had them discuss the matter of cooperation with the head of Crimson Castle.
Initially the guard objected considering Reus was someone who was able to repel a thousand troops, there was a possibility of Reus attacking Aulcrat if the least amount of guard was reduced. But Aulcrat did not accept any reason so the guard immediately went to inform Aulcrat's subordinates.
"I'm sorry about my men, they have a hard time trusting Mr. Reus."
"No problem, Your Honor. If they believe in me that quickly and leave you alone with me, then they are not your loyal guardian knights."
After saying so Reus glanced at the two remaining guards with a sharp look accompanied by intimidating air, giving them a warning not to mess with Aulcrat. It made them gulp and nod quickly to Reus's intentions.
"What are you guys talking about? It's not about my punishment for cursing the king and the others, is it?"
When the atmosphere of silence came to power, Sylph who had been free suddenly chapped while fingering the wrist that felt quite relieved after being held for several days with anti-magic chains.
"Just calm down, if scolding me makes you feel better then just do it. At least this is what I can do after all my mistakes to you."
Aulcrat smiled wryly looking at Sylph's face, then took a restful position in front of the young man's legs which successfully made the two guards wide.
Reus was slightly surprised to see Aulcrat's actions, but did not react similarly to the two Aulcrat guards. Sylph's reaction is more or less the same as Reus.
"I know I don't have the right to apologize for everything that's happened, but I'm really sorry."
The two guards beside Aulcrat tried to attract and persuade the old king to rise, but Aulcrat ignored them. He remained firm on his position and apologized to Sylph.
While the two guards were busy coaxing Aulcrat, suddenly loud laughter rang out from Sylph's mouth. Sylph's laughter captured the attention of two guards as well as Aulcrat himself. The two guards were enraged at wanting to give Sylph a lesson, while Aulcrat looked at her in confusion.
"Ah, sorry, I never thought a king would apologize to you like this."
Sylph wiped the water coming out of her eyes from laughing. The two Aulcrat guards were already about to pull out their weapons and issue a warning slash, but when they wanted to do so either their arms or weapons could not move as if being held back by something.
As they were confused, their gaze shifted to Reus who was now smiling towards them while moving his index finger left and right as if hinting the two of them to do nothing.
The two guards felt so angry that they wanted to tear Reus into dozens of pieces, but before they were about to do that Sylph knelt down and pat Aucrat on the shoulder with a smile, helping him stand up.
"There is no need to apologize, Your Majesty. Thanks to your actions just now, I became convinced that you were as innocent as Reus had said."
Aulcrat and his two guards were surprised to hear Sylph's unbelievable statement, the three were pensive to see Sylph's face which now appeared to emit a pure white light in their view.
Reus himself was satisfied to see that Sylph and Aulcrat's troubles were over, he smiled for a moment before releasing Telekinesis which shackled both of Aulcrat's guards.
As a peaceful atmosphere bloomed in the surrounding air, in the end they decided to return upstairs after Sylph's equipment was returned and Aulcrat had one of his guards take Blackstar from the royal treasury.
