34. Dancing Cover

After getting tired of breathing the night air, Deus closed his window and walked towards Kurenai and the others gathered. There are Kurenai, Almira, Ti Shian, Sarah, and Hideo. They all sat at the same table.

   "Oh, brother's coming? Same Kurenai, huh?"

   "Ko-koko Mira knows?"

   "Of course, you know, in this school it's just us. Some of you who do not have a boyfriend but will promise to bring a girlfriend here to avoid other guys it is clear. Did you guys make a deal?"

Hearing Mira's complete reply, Kurenai's face color turned crimson. The white smoke of his imagination was also visible to his friends. Deus himself chuckled at Kurenai's behavior.

Deus took a seat next to Hideo, they didn't mind.

The six of them talked to each other about various things. Sometimes talking about activities at school, the difficulty of taking care of the house alone, the delicious cuisine made by Deus, the life of romance, and some things about Orbis Online.

   "Do you know there's an Event Monstrus Invasion?"

   "Ah, the event that just started about an hour ago, huh? I've seen it on Orbis News news online, he said monster invasion, huh?"

   "Yes, I know from the discussion at the Orbis Forum."

Subconsciously the six of them who are Orbis Online players have discussions at once in the middle of this noisy party. They discussed how to defend the onslaught of monster attacks in terrible numbers.

Through Orbis News, Ti Shian learned that there were approximately 10,000 mob monsters below the level of 30 that invaded Livetuna. Hideo also obtained more or less the same information from his friends in Orbis Online.

For a beginner player like Deus should be some mob monsters leveled below 30 that are still quite strong and difficult to handle. Even though his level had risen to above 30, it did not mean that he could deal with several monsters at once. The level is still very less to deal with it.

But considering he got many titles that add to his status drastically, Deus felt he could join the defense forces in Livetuna. He was confident that he could face several monsters at once using his sword skills and Hollow Swords skill that created five sword shadows that could be controlled within a certain distance.

   "By the way Shian is, you're a Dual Swordsman, right?"

   "Yes, why is it?"

   "You also got the Dual Wielding Skill Emblem?"

   "Of course, otherwise I can't take the Dual Swordsman class."

Deus held his chin thinking of some things that could be used efficiently in battle later on. After going through the fight against the Minotaur in the Lafos cave, Deus knew that his Iron Sword +4 sword had been almost destroyed and could not be used for as long as before.

If only he had forced the use of his Iron Sword +4 in the battle, the sword would have been destroyed in less than five minutes. Although the sword was indeed approaching its end, Deus was not so affectionate right now.

He already had two new swords in place, the Sword of Cold and the black sword of Nezile. He could use Sword of Cold as his main weapon, but he was still curious about the black sword.

   "Shian, is it possible for a player to be able to use two weapons at once without having to have Dual Wielding skill?"

   "Ah, you mean Self Dual Wielding?"

Deus slightly frowned when he heard the reply from Shian.

   "Can you explain?"

   "Usedage limits?"

   "Yes. If ordinary Dual Wielding is a passive skill that allows players to use two weapons at once without limits, then Self Dual Wielding has a duration limit."

Deus nodded slowly hearing Shian's explanation. He did not expect that actually every player could use two weapons at once without the need to have Dual Wielding skill. If what Shian said was true, then the chance of him holding back the monsters that attacked Livetuna would increase.

   "Self Dual Wielding only lasted ten minutes as long as players used both weapons simultaneously. For his own cooldown takes an hour."

   'One hour.. isn't that too long?'

Hearing further explanation, Deus dropped his chin in disappointment. Although he was happy because there was an automatic skill system, but the cooldown that was so long made him confine the intention of using two swords at once.

   "What if I use it beyond that duration?"

   "In addition to the weapon that you hold in the right hand—or left if left-handed—all will be stripped automatically. If you want to pick it up again for the fight, the weapon will be thrown back and the hand of the brother who wants to take it is attacked by a mild electric shock."

Deus clicked his tongue knowing what would happen if he decided to use Self Dual Wielding beyond the duration specified by the system. He himself was eager to use two swords at once to test the ability of his two-sword technique which he had not tried for a long time.

Its usage limit was ten minutes and its cooldown duration was one hour, it was quite long.

In addition to Iron Sword +4, Deus still has two other swords in his Orbis Online avatar, namely Sword of Cold and a mysterious black sword that completes the Quest of Nezile. Deus was actually not so interested in the Sword of Cold that he got as a drop item from the Ice Golem, he was more curious about his black sword.

If later when he arrived at the apartment, Deus wanted to jump directly into Orbis Online and try his new black sword as well as Sword of Cold. This is because the Dur status of Iron Sword +4 has reached its end after fighting Dungeon Boss in the cave Lafos—Minotaur.

Did Deus forget another sword he had before getting the Sword of Cold? A sword that is a free gift from the system as a bonus when it reaches level 10? A sword named Ironforge Sword with Dmg and Dur status is good for new players of level 10. Unfortunately, this level has been passed by Deus for a long time.

   "Alright, I think exchanging his Orbis Online information up to here, soon the party will be over."

   "Ah right too, I didn't realize it."

The five teenagers who were students instantly realized that the song performed by the music player sounded mellow and soft in the ear, only Deus realized that. The mellow song was already agreed to be played by the music player when the show was nearing the final stage, it was heard by Deus of Kurenai.

They also closed the Orbis Online information exchange session and walked together to the middle of the room to dance. Hideo with Sarah, Ti Shian with Mira, while Deus with Kurenai. The six of them began to dance softly following the music performed by the music player.

Seeing this scene, the young men present at the party focused their attention on the three couples who were dancing gracefully in the middle of the room. They were astonished to witness the rare sight that was rarely seen in this country.

While all of the guests' attention was centered on them, Deus' group seemed unconcerned and continued to dance to enjoy this rare moment. Especially Deus, he seemed to enjoy every movement he made and the music he heard.

It's not every day that he can dance with a girl as beautiful as Kurenai, is it?
