"What are you doing?!"
Rosevince could not help his surprise when Reus managed to throw himself just by raising one hand, unfortunately Reus refused to answer but only gave a thin smile.
Rosevince bit his lip for a moment feeling that Reus had a rare skill that players rarely get. He then directed some of his Mage class members who came with him to shoot magic at Reus simultaneously, even other Mage class members who were in that place also attacked.
"We'll see if you can smile again after this!"
Dozens of high-powered magic pointed towards Reus, but in fact Reus looked calm and even smiled widely. He readied the sword in his hand before activating Adrenaline Mode followed by a swing of the sword that cut off any magic that came to him.
The Gaia's Tree members who witnessed it glared in disbelief at what Reus had done just now. Cutting magic using a sword or other melee weapon is not impossible, but still it cannot be found anywhere.
"Thank you for your generosity gave me enough strength, but let me just give it back so that there's no debt between us."
After saying so, Reus again swung his sword and unleashed the magic that he had managed to cut before towards some nearby buildings in Gaia's Tree realm, no matter whether or not their members were there.
'Hmm. even if my goal is to eliminate the Gaia's Tree of the Alvast branch, it doesn't mean that there are NPC members they obey the orders of this rotten Legion voluntarily. I'd better reduce his range.'
If not thinking about the fate of the NPC members on Gaia's Tree who were forced to follow the orders of their superiors, Reus might have intended to flatten everything in the Legion's territory.
Rosevince and the Gaia's Tree members who witnessed it felt his heart almost stop when Reus cast a magic greater than even a Mage level 150 and above, though clearly Reus grasping the sword is not a magic wand.
"You're a high-level Swordmage? The Hundred Best Player?"
Rosevince could see that even though Reus was a Swordmage, the magic power he unleashed was too great for an average Swordmage-class NPC or player, if you have to juxtapose then only those dubbed the Hundred Best Player are able to cast magic of that size and have great sword skills at one time.
"You are free to imagine, but that will not guarantee your salvation."
Reus only smiled cynically seeing the opponents in front of him so frightened when he heard the 'Hundred Best Player' from Rosevince's mouth.
On the other hand Rosevince felt like cursing at his own Legion who dared to look for trouble with one of the Hundred Best Players who was painstakingly avoided by them in the war against another Legion.
The existence of the Hundred Best Player is indeed a benchmark and idol for most players, and the ability of one of these title holders cannot be underestimated. One of them might be able to finish off the intermediate Legion by himself.
"Is there no other way but violence to solve this problem?"
Rosevince slightly lowered his sword to feel there was room to negotiate with Reus, of course this he did because he suspected Reus was one of the Hundred Best Player who was so respected by the players.
Reus raised his eyebrows before drawing his sword back at Rosevince.
"Nothing, my patience has run out enough because of your arbitrary actions."
Reus' words were greeted by Rosevince's breath. The player armed with the great sword inhaled a deep breath for a moment and shouted loudly until his voice was heard by all the members of Gaia's Tree who were in his territory.
"All members of Gaia's Tree immediately headed to the entrance gate in full gear!"
Rosevince's voice not only shocked the men behind him, but also Reus who became his enemy even though he was a little surprised and confused.
"If you really are one of the Hundred Best Players, then we have no other choice."
Reus nodded softly as he sighed, he actually felt Rosevince was wiser than this considering the position he had was the head of the Alvast branch, but it turned out that the player before him was not much different from ordinary players.
After the loud cry Rosevince directed his men who were in that place continue to attack Reus. They obeyed Rosevince's orders despite doubts, close range players immediately advanced crashing while intermediate and distant players such as Archer or Mage were asked to attack occasionally when Reus showed a gap.
Reus did not wait for himself to be attacked, he instead advanced against several opponents armed at close range using his sword.
None of them were able to match Reus' shrewdness in playing the sword so one by one they lay on the ground in a few seconds. Some of the opponents that Reus defeated turned into blue pixel beads signifying he was a player, while others remained lying on the ground without a life.
Watching the scene, the other Gaia's Tree members who were behind Rosevince grew even more frightened. Members armed at close range had their fate dead horribly in a few moments, what if Reus managed to reach their place?
"Shoot! Shoot him fast!"
Rosevince panicked a little when he saw Reus easily finish off his men in an instant, even though they were judged on their level and ability including the top members of Gaia's Tree.
The members of Gaia's Tree fire their magic towards Reus following Rosevince's wishes, not wanting his fate to end the same as their fallen comrades first.
"You don't learn from experience, do you?"
Reus breathed in through his nose looking at the dozens of magic pointing at him. He used Adrenaline Mode to slash most of the magic, the rest he just avoided. Reus did not want to spend so much energy at the beginning of the battle that it could result in losses at the end.
After all, as much as possible Reus did not want to absorb too much magic because it could affect the status of Dur Blackstar, he did not want this legendary sword destroyed just because it sucked too much magic.
As Reus managed to cut the last magic coming at him, Rosevince had been right before him with the large sword he raised aloft ready to split Reus as hard as he could.
"Full Swing!"
Without wasting any time Rosevince directly swung his greatsword aiming right at Reus' head, but had not had time for his sword to touch Reus' head, several slightly transparent black-colored swords emerged from Reus' body and fended off Rosevince's greatsword, simultaneously repelling the player a few steps back.
"Hollow Sword, do you think I don't know your way of thinking?"
As a melee-armed player who excels in close combat, Rosevince can tell as hard as he tries, he said, with his current level and ability he will not be able to defeat Reus in a one-on-one fight, so he uses the magic attack that his men use to cover Reus' sight and launch a deadly attack. Unfortunately it didn't work out because Reus had read the plan first.
Reus had spent much of his time facing this kind of strategy in the life and death battle on Chaos Lair just yet so he was not surprised to even anticipate a similar attack.
Rosevince clicked his tongue slowly realizing his strategy was not working, he then attacked Reus repeatedly using his great sword which Reus could easily avoid.
When Rosevince showed a large gap after attacking, then Reus deployed Sprint followed by changes to his appearance which is now seen wearing a purple-spotted black robe in several places. Reus appeared right in front of Rosevince in an instant.
"Thank you for comforting me a little bit."
Finished saying so, Reus twisted his body and gave six consecutive slashes to Rosevince's body decisively. Rosevince, who was hit by six deadly attacks, only realized Reus' presence right in front of him after receiving an attack.
Until it turns into thousands of blue pixel grains even though Rosevince does not believe himself defeated by someone in just one attack.
