89. Riots in the Southern Horen Foot Town

Unable to recover from his shock seeing Reus being able to throw three pieces of gold coins worth 30,000 Byl without a blink, the mayor was surprised to hear Reus' cold and unfriendly tone. His expression became more serious, yet in his heart he cheered violently getting a huge prey today.

   "Can it be? Seeing your disrespect for me by throwing this fee, I guess I can't give you that right."

The mayor just smiled cynically while saying that while on Reus' side his purplish veins had already appeared on his temples trying to contain anger. He really does not like this type of person, playing dirty but trying to look smooth.

   "I'll forget this if you give me another 10,000 Byl."

The mayor's disgusting smile grew wider and felt that he had won, but Reus did not feel defeated at all. He only smiled coldly while throwing a piercing gaze at the mayor making this fat man flinch.

For a few moments there was no sound that broke the silence between them, then Reus got up and took back the three gold coins he threw on the table before and was about to walk out without a word. Seeing this, the mayor suddenly rose to his feet in anger.

   "By acting impolite and stealing the money that already belonged to the mayor, you think you can get away with it that easily, thief?!"

Reus's steps came to a halt when he heard the word 'thief' from this man's dirty mouth. He turned his head to look at the mayor who shuddered in fear because of the look of Reus' eyes filled with killing intent.

   "He's trying to kill me! Kill her!"

Without hesitation the mayor shouted loudly while pointing at Reus telling the entire guard in his residence to kill the young man. All the guards immediately moved with the forward-directed weapon intent on plunging it into Reus' body, but the intent was merely intent.

When the mayor's big smile had widened to the furthest point, suddenly the smile disappeared when he saw the next incident that made his eyes wide.

There were only four guards inside this room who attacked Reus so he did not need to pull the Dragon Slayer Sword from his back. He then released Dragon Aura for the first time to the NPC and made the four guards fall to the floor without cause unknown to the Knight and the mayor.

Indeed Dragon Aura Reus as well as his own level did not have a high level, but the amount of his own status was already far above that of people who were on the same level. This caused the four guards to fall to the floor and lose consciousness.

   'He did nothing but could subvert others? Does he have special powers?'

Knight who became the mayor's bodyguard was amazed to see the incident just now. Although it was obvious that he was surprised and amazed at Reus' actions, actually this Knight also felt the effects of Dragon Aura but almost not felt. Unfortunately Reus was able to read the Knight's movements and dodge his attacks without any significant difficulty.

After dodging several attacks Reus leapt back to maintain his distance while pulling out the Dragon Slayer Sword. He was dealing with a level 60 NPC, it was not good if he was wasting too much time considering that in this city there were three other people who were more or less powerful than the Knight in front of him.

Soon Reus darted forward and countered his attack as quickly as possible with an ordinary Flash Swing, but was successfully restrained by the shield in the Knight's left hand. The knight was shocked not playing to feel how powerful a single swing of the sword from this young man was.

Reus did not stop there, he also launched a few more attacks with Swing that made the Knight's shield crumble in less than a minute. The Knight widened his eyes in disbelief seeing that the shield that had accompanied him for more than two years was able to be shattered with several attacks from Reus.

Of course, the Dragon Slayer Sword was an Ultra-Equip-quality Equip and if combined with Swing alone its strength would increase drastically even at a glance. The Knight's Shield was just a low-quality Mid-Equip Equip so there was clearly a noticeable difference between the two.

Reus then inhaled as much air as possible exerting Breathing Power and swung his sword vertically as fast and as strong as possible accompanied by Dragon Smite towards the Knight who made his sword as a protector. Unfortunately it would certainly not be able to withstand the power of the Dragon Slayer Sword.

Blaar!!

The sound of explosions rang out loudly thanks to the swing of Reus' sword that had already split the Knight together with his sword at once. The floor of the mayor's residence was destroyed along with some furniture and all items that were prone to falling and being damaged were also split thanks to the vibrations produced by Dragon Slayer Sword combined with Dragon Smite and Breathing Power.

   "Bujug gile, the power of this sword is truly beyond belief."

Reus smiled wryly knowing he was overdoing it in exerting his strength. Actually with a single Swing the Dragon Slayer Sword could pierce through the sword as well as the body of his opponent, but Reus alone was not sure about it.

Due to the commotion that was about to tear down the mayor's residence, Reus immediately ran out about to escape from this city and directly moved towards the Horen mountain tunnel, which was the main one, but the intention was blocked by some people who had been waiting for him in front of this residence.

   'It seems like getting out of this place won't be easy.'

Reus then readied his sword again preparing to fight against the guards who were already waiting for him in this place. Among the guards could be seen three Knights, one of whom he had seen escorting the mayor yesterday. His face deteriorated instantly.

   "Against three people in their 60s at once at this low level? Where is the balance of this game world?"

He just laughed a little unaware of his action in the city of South Horen Foot recorded by one of the players who also happened to be in the city and brought the excitement in the world of Orbis Online in the future.
