176. Killer Ruler

Reus' forehead shriveled to look at the old man who had just raised his voice so loudly. As the sound spread, all the soldiers who heard it lowered their weapons. They nodded before stepping back.

Reus lowered his sword so as not to look too threatening, he asked Crystina as well as the two others behind him to do the same. They protested but did not dare to resist.

After the atmosphere was quite eased, Reus turned his gaze to the old man about 10 meters in front of him.

   "Could you be the king of this country?"

   "Such a damn young man! Let me cut his tongue out before I talk any further!"

One of the six guards spontaneously came forward carrying a large axe. His expression would have looked so wrathful had it not been for his head protection which also protected his face.

   "Soldier, get back to where you are now!"

The old man again cried out to stop the soldier but unfortunately, his words were not addressed by the soldier.

   "My king, they're only four people! If it only cuts off one person's tongue then it's not a hard job!"

The soldier raised his huge axe high up intending to split Reus into two halves but before he managed to do so, his giant axe stopped in midair making his eyes widen violently.

On the other hand Reus sighed and raised his voice.

   "I am the only criminal in this country who has lowered the weapon as requested by your King, why are you the one who is his soldier not even listening to his words?"

Reus did not wait for the soldier to answer, he immediately deployed Telekinesis to throw the soldier back to where he had previously stood, only this time by rolling on the ground instead of walking.

The soldier groaned loudly before rising to his feet about to attack Reus once more but he had not yet taken a step, his hand no longer grasping the large axe of pride.

   "Ah, are you looking for this?"

Reus showed the soldier's large axe in his hand, playing it with one hand as if it were just a little long wooden stick in his hand.

The soldier became enraged and wanted to attack Reus blindly but, two of his comrades stopped and calmed himself down so as not to make the problem even bigger.

Reus smiled in satisfaction seeing the soldier so agitated, he stopped playing the large axe in his hand and stuck the axe to the ground, making the ground around them tremble for a moment.

Crystina widened her eyes as Reus played a large axe that should only be able to be raised with those two hands in such a way. He wanted to ask about it but before asking anything Crystina recalled Reus' Telekinesis skill.

   'This guy used that power to bluff?'

It never crossed Crystina's mind there was a person like Reus who used Telekinesis to bluff.

   "I'm sorry my men, he doesn't know what he's doing."

   "No matter, his actions were natural as an Elite Knight considering I was indeed being presumptuous towards his king."

Reus smiled sinisterly looking at the king, his face completely not reflecting his words, making the six Elite Knight guards accompanying the king furious.

   "So, what's the matter until a king comes down to a battlefield like this? Is it because we took out too many of your soldiers to call you here to negotiate, Your Majesty?"

   "Enough!"

Again the guards did not accept the words of Reus, when in reality it was not far off. The difference this guard had was different from the previous soldiers.

   "Can't you just shut up for a moment? I'm talking to your king, do I need to silence that mouth of yours?"

Reus, who was unhappy with the soldiers, then deployed his Telekinesis to the unwelcome guard, suppressing the armor he was wearing. The soldier immediately fell to the ground groaning in pain, not understanding what Reus was doing.

   "Sniff, please stop. I think he's understood enough of your powers."

The king raised his voice when he saw one of his guards in so much pain, when there should have been a considerable distance from Reus. There was no way Reus could attack that far as a sword user.

Reus stared at the king for a while before releasing his Telekinesis from the soldier, he sighed and looked back at the king.

   "Okay, get to the point. What do you want to negotiate with me, Raja?"

   "What exactly do you want from this country? Why did you kill so many of my soldiers who were just doing their job?"

The king's words invited Reus' laughter which suddenly exploded, triggering the king's guards to frown and prepare weapons. At the same time Crystina also raised her weapon along with two others behind Reus.

   "I'm sorry, I just feel funny about what you're saying King."

The king frowned not understanding Reus's intentions.

   "What do you mean?"

   "Hmm? You don't understand what I'm talking about?"

Reus again smiled faintly to the king feeling funny, this time inviting the other two guards to step forward with their weapons.

   "Enough get there, swordsman!"

   "We can't let you insult our King!"

The reaction of the soldier managed to provoke the anger of Reus which is quite rarely ignited. He sighed for a moment before throwing the six guards far enough away using Telekinesis, making the king look great.

   "Can't you just shut up and let me talk?! Or do you not love life?!"

Reus unleashed Dragon Aura and Swordmaster Aura towards the six warriors along with his anger. Reus hasn't been this angry for long.

   "Executor, please calm yourself! We don't want to argue with you any further than this!"

After saying so, the king gave off an aura that was no less powerful to suppress Reus' aura. The silver-haired young man narrowed his eyes realizing the king before him had a rare Aura-type skill, not to mention being able to suppress his combined Dragon Aura and Swordmaster Aura.

Reus looked at the king carefully for a while before pulling back both of his auras, the king also drew his aura at the same time.

   "Okay, enough bases. All I want is a black sword that you snatched from me."

   "Black sword?"

   "Right, according to my memory the sword was stored safely in the royal treasure room, right?"

Now it was the king's turn to narrow his eyes to hear Reus' words.

   "Where do you know that?"

   "No need to care about me. Give me back my sword and my business in this country is done."

After saying so Reus pointed his sword at the king, he could see the king knew of his sword and was unwilling to return it, given Blackstar's extraordinary abilities.

   "Executor, is there any other request besides that? We can't let that sword out of someone else's possession let alone an individual, especially someone so dangerous as you."

Reus smiled coldly in response to the king's words, this time he let out an unpleasant air for everyone.

   "Okay, everyone's choice is in the person's own hands, as well as the consequences behind the choice."

Not wanting to waste too much time, Reus released Dragon Aura and Swordmaster Aura to the old man while simultaneously pulling him out using Telekinesis.

The king was surprised at Reus' actions, he was about to fight back using the aura he had but had not had time for the king to let out his aura, his body first attracted towards Reus. More precisely towards the tip of the Dragon Slayer Sword that was now piercing through his chest.

A few seconds later the feminine voice of the system sounded in her head.

   "{Congratulations, you get the title The Sovereign Killer.}"
