248. The Battle of the Dragon and Man VIII

The huge explosion that shocked the people watching from afar was not created from the clash of Sunless Sky clone Reus and scythe masked figure, but rather the sound of the smashing of a masked figure with the ground below.

   "Gruesome is also his strength."

The real Reus who was still lying helplessly muttered softly in awe of the strength of his own clone, whereas according to his memory he only gave a strength of 10% from the status on each of his clones but after getting an increase from the Black Predator, their strength far exceeded his expectations.

Reus' clones began arriving as he telepathically requested help. He was aware that even with Ouroboros Mode he still had difficulty facing the masked figure but if there were ten help as strong as Reus himself, then at least the fight would go easier.

Reus was about to rise up uncertain even though with all that masked figure can be defeated but unfortunately, Debuff Stun who was on him made Reus unable to move, then an idea flashed in his mind.

   "Oh, can Pscyhokinesis be used like this too? It is versatile, yes, the Psychokinesis. Hail Psychokinesis!"

Reus raised his hand crying out happily that his body could be moved even indirectly.

Right now Reus is not moving his body as usual but rather he is exerting Psychokinesis on himself. Indeed, his movements will feel more rigid considering he has never used the skill in such a way but at least this is better than lying helpless.

   "Psychokinesis, huh? Using such a skill to overcome Stun, even more so having a clone-like skill.... You're too dangerous."

Amidst his excitement Reus could hear the sound of a masked figure. The figure looks not to have any significant injuries. Its HP parameters were still over 70% while its HP Reus was already reduced by more than half.

Although Reus was able to move using Psychokinesis, Debuff Bleeding did not disappear. He actually wanted to try drinking the Dragon Miracle Tears to eliminate all the Debuff he received but the masked figure did not allow it.

   "You must be killed at least 10 times so as not to obstruct my plan!"

The masked figure thrust several black blades towards Reus.

Reus' clone swiftly took a position about to fend off the blades using Balmung but as he slashed at one of the blades, his sword pierced through as if splitting the air. The black blades that broke through the defense immediately hit the body of the Reus clone, as a result of which Reus' clone reached its limit and disappeared.

   "Jester Knife?"

In one look Reus can tell the knives have abilities like his Jester Knife, an ability that can penetrate one layer of enemy defense. A very annoying skill for defense-specialist players.

   "Huh, you intruder clone."

The masked figure frowned watching Reus' clones sacrifice themselves to protect his original body while dismantling the opponent's skill. He then glanced at the remaining three clones before a black aura emanated from his body and formed a 3-meter-tall half-human figure while holding a scythe.

   "You are indeed strong to the point of forcing me to use the Death Reaper but with this done already."

The masked figure darted rapidly towards the three Reus clones that were blocking. He rampaged using his scythe facing three Reus clones aided by a human figure behind him.

Reus used the opportunity to consume the Dragon Miracle Tears just for the sake of throwing away a drop of the Item in vain when he realized that even the Dragon Miracle Tears were unable to negate the Everlasting Curse effect.

In the end Reus cursed slowly can only swear slowly.

   "You dare to take your attention away from me?!"

The cry of the masked figure was met with alarm by Reus. He discovered his opponent had managed to finish off all three of his clones while simultaneously realizing a flash of shadow was flying as fast as lightning towards him on the ground.

Reus did not retreat instead he came forward and slashed the shadow using Blackstar, absorbing the shadow made the masked figure glare fiercely but did not make it stop attacking Reus.

He swung his huge scythe with all his might as Reus entered his range. Unfortunately, Reus can react to that wide attack and hold it back using Balmung.

   "You can withstand my attack but can you withstand this?"

The human figure behind the masked figure swung its scythe towards Reus but the curved blade was held back by the five Hollow Swords swords that had just completed its Cooldown period.

   "Why not?"

Reus put on a mocking smile making the masked figure feel annoyed.

They collided for a moment before Reus again lost but the difference, this time after Reus bounced he immediately moved Psychokinesis to suppress the masked figure so that his opponent could not immediately attack.

Reus used various combinations of Black Cloud, Sunless Sky, Swing, Dragon Smite, as well as some other attack skills he had without needing to think about his Energy consumption power.

Currently Int Reus status reaches 8,000 more which means the total Energy is not less than 40,000. Given that every single Black Sky Sword Art Series skill used a lot of Energy, Reus would not waste this opportunity and rampage with all his might without thinking about the use of Energy.

Reus also did not hesitate to deploy the entire Aura Skill as well as some Chant Skills he had, not to forget also Laplace Forecast which made him able to see the prediction of the opponent's movements a few seconds ahead.

Reus movement is not as smooth as usual but thanks to a combination of skills that drain his Energy quickly, Reus is able to suppress and even repel the masked figure.

   'What the fuck is this guy?! Is it because he will soon die so he fought back with all his might?!'

The masked figure screamed in his heart he never expected instead of cornering Reus, he just made his opponent even more crazy! As long as he played he never fought against someone like Reus!

Unable to continue fighting slashes repeatedly with Reus, the masked figure took a step back far enough to create distance as well as take a moment's breath but Reus had no intention of releasing the momentum of the fight that sided with him.

   "You running? It's not that easy! Psychokinesis!"

Reus released Psychokinesis making a masked figure as if receiving a load weighing tens to hundreds of kilos on his shoulders, then deploying Sprint darting as fast as the wind and raining both his swords towards the body of the masked figure.

   "Aragh!"

The masked figure screamed softly noticing the twin prick attacks scowling at least half its own total HP. Now his HP was only left with no more than 20% in a single strike!

   "Rancid spurs!"

He could feel death just a short while away from him so that made the masked figure panic a little. The large human figure behind him swung a scythe intending to decapitate Reus from close range.

Unfortunately, Reus had already seen the attack through Laplace Forecast and took the necessary steps to avoid the 'Life Whip' scythe within a paper-thin distance, then came back and launched the final attack.

   "Sunless Anchor Maxima!"

With the additional long-bladed twin sword slashes from Sunless Sky's black fog, Reus managed to separate the head and body of the masked figure in a single strike.
