Orbis Online

Orbis Online
135. The Love III Night Festival

After declaring a duel between players, Reus and Charion then face each other with their respective weapons drawn to each other, disbanding all festival visitors around them.

"Reus, this is my problem with Mia. You don't have to interfere."

Seeing that serious Reus wants to fight Charion, Ikshan intends to stop him as it may cause trouble for Reus himself.

Ikshan did not know the insignia of the Gaia's Tree Legion in Charion Armor, but he knows no player is crazy enough to challenge any Legion alone—unless the player is as level as the Hundred Best Player, the hundred strongest Orbis Online player.

Ikshan knew that even if Reus' level was superior to Charion, he could not let his comrade face off against the Legion alone.

"Then solve your problem with Mia, I will teach this proud member of Gaia's Tree a lesson."

Reus smiled broadly as he raised his chin slightly arrogant while replying to Ikshan's words, making Charion's emotions rise to the crown and immediately advanced to attack him using a simple sword swing.

   'It's been provoked once.'

Although his intention was indeed to provoke Charion, Reus did not expect to provoke the man to surf this.

   "Your attack is slow."

The trail!

Not yet Charion landed his attack, Reus stepped forward and slashed Charion's sword until regardless of his grasp, surprising Ikshan, Mia, and Charion himself.

   "W-what the fuck?!"

Charion's eyes were wide and realized that his sword had been thrown a few meters away from him, but he saw no sign of Reus moving from his place. A strange question came to his mind right then and there.

On the other hand Reus only looked at Charion in surprise as he patted the flat blade of his sword on the shoulder, confused as to what the man was doing.

'Using that slow attack in a duel, was he that arrogant to the point of underestimating me as much?'

Reus is not aware that Charion is actually not underestimating him or taking this duel lightly, but he is too far from the standard of normal Orbis Online players until Charion does not understand what happened to him.

For the past two months Reus and Ikshan have been training under the guidance of Randolf Wallenstein, the Sword Lord of over 700s, an unusually high level when compared to the highest level players in Orbis Online today.

Thanks to the practice both of them have become accustomed to Randolf's incredible attacking speed at his level, so Charion's attack looks very slow in the eyes of Reus who is accustomed to high-speed attacks.

Charion sprinted small intending to take his sword out of his grasp, but before that Reus moved quickly and gave a crushing kick to Charion's stomach, he threw the man down and destroyed one of the festival's booths. Fortunately everyone else around this had already escaped first so no merchant could complain.

   "Khorion!"

Mia who watched Charion crash immediately ran up to him, while Ikshan who was not far from Reus could only be silent while enduring the pain in his heart seeing this.

"Ikshan, I know it's hard, but you should be able to let it go."

Reus brandished his sword at Mia who was currently helping Charion stand up, he could see the expression on the woman's face that really looked worried towards Charion, she said, then sheathed her sword on her back and stepped closer to Ikshan while patting him on the shoulder.

"You are no longer in his heart."

Ikshan could understand the meaning of Reus' sentence, but he still had a hard time accepting it. She had loved Mia for over a year, it was hard to accept this fact.

   "I understand, Reus."

While pulling and exhaling a series of breaths, Ikshan then looked at the face of his former lover—, perhaps for the last time. After being satisfied to see Mia and Charion who looked like they were a match for each other, Ikshan turned around and stepped closer to Reus who had walked towards the inn casually leaving the couple.

   "Wait a minute, goddamn it!"

Just as the two were about to go further away from the couple, Charion stopped the two in a loud voice, while standing up was already struggling. Reus and Ikshan turned to look at the young man.

"You players without Legion won't be able to escape Gaia's Tree! You will receive the reward!"

Charion's fiery voice and anger made Reus react a little, his eyebrows rising when he heard the young man's statement.

Seeing Reus' reaction Charion's smile widened, the young man in front of him was afraid to face his Legion. Players without Legions dare to look for things with a Legion member? It could be said to be suicide.

He opened the Skeleton Mask that covered half of his face and looked at Charion while letting out a slight smile.

"Tell your Legion chief to come at any time before me."

After stating that Reus continued his steps leaving Charion whose face was filled with anger and a great desire to kill.

"Kill you here right now, you son of a bitch!"

Charion takes another sword from Inventory and runs towards Reus with the intention of taking the young man's life, but the opposite happens. Reus without hesitation quickly drew his sword slashing down Charion's neck, flying the man's head to the ground in an instant.

After Charion's head rolled on the ground for a few moments before disappearing into thousands of pixels, Reus sheathed his sword back with a heavy sigh.

"It could be a player of this ability that searogan."

The words from Reus' mouth did sound arrogant in some people's ears, but when viewed from Reus's perspective who already knew how terrifying the Online Orbis world was going forward with the existence of the Order of Chaos, it was only in the future, Charion is indeed just a 'frog in the shell'.

In his own case, Reus had fought against Arshwind whose level far exceeded that of the highest leveled players today could also be sealed by a mysterious figure who he assumed was the higher-ups of the Chaos Order.

Such a high-leveled Arshwind alone could be sealed, what would be the fate of the current players if they were to receive a full-powered onslaught from the Order of Chaos? Maybe they could have been flattened to the ground.

Ikshan who stood not far from Reus pensively watched how his partner's sword slash slashed at his fellow players without hesitation, while Mia curled up in fear not wanting to experience the same thing as Charion.

Since the beginning of his encounter with Reus, Ikshan had never fought against another human player until he ran out of HP, which is why Ikshan was so surprised to see Reus who had no hesitation slashing Charion's neck.

   "Ikshan, what's wrong?"

Realizing that his party-mate was silent without a sound, Reus patted Ikshan on the shoulder asking for his condition. He thought Ikshan was still a little shocked at what he had experienced recently, but the reality was not so.

   "No, it's nothing."

In the end Ikshan brushed off all the negative thoughts in his mind and walked following Reus back to the inn, leaving Mia alone cowering in fear.

Hi, long time no see in this story, loyal readers waiting for this story update.

Ekhem, no need to mince words directly to the core that I want to convey here.

The more I came here the more disappointed I was with this community, disappointed with the promoters of copas in this community. Wh why?

Before that, I wanted to emphasize the copas promoter I meant not just on my lap, but all over the NT.

I'm sure many do not care about the author's footnotes are usually used as a place to confide, but I want to ask.. novel/story is what the hell for you guys?

I have actually harbored this since the emergence of the promoters of copas, I do not understand why the promoter of copas is always an uninvited promotion.

Is that story you wrote just as a tool to achieve "acquaintance" so continue to be promoted anywhere?

Okay if you really want his work known to people as the first step to become a writer, with a note that has been allowed the owner of the stall, and really want to write not only because they want to be famous. I understand him and allow the promotion on the condition that it does not copy, so that his business is visible.

Lah, if the promotion of copas because only want to be famous doang? Just ask to visit, ask for like, ask for rate, looks really just want to be popular.

Still mending "wait for criticism and advice", it is now that the promotion "wait for his like and rate.

Well, the point is I just want to confide in the promotion of copas that really makes me disturbed. Maybe because of this copas promotion I can stop all my activities here and move to another platform or even stop writing.

Happy, aren't you guys? Barriers reduced by one? Yahaha! Please have fun, Normies!

Um, the last one from me in this umpteenth episode of "Author Note": This is a story, not a free promotional board that you can use as good as you can!

Thank you, paypay!~
