Orbis Online
67. Bayfrost City

After the preparations were completed and bidding farewell to Lyra, Reus set out for the town of Bayfrost on a horse he had bought in the previous town because of the Lyra proposal. Actually he objected enough to the proposal Lyra because it was expensive, but he also considered the speed that affects the duration of the trip.

Reus is not a person who likes to linger or long-winded.

Lyra actually wanted to join Reus, but she had not completed the Quest she had received from the mayor directly. Since Lyra was one of the four strongest players who had settled in Livetuna until now, the mayor asked her to hunt Goblins inside the city as many as 100 Goblin every day until the state of the city calmed down. Thanks to that he got the Goblin Killer title for successfully killing 1000 Goblins.

Reus himself did not want to linger in the city of Livetuna considering he got the right to take Special-Class level classes in Class Registration. Unfortunately, all members and employees of Class Registration have been killed during the Goblin invasion of Livetuna.

Although previously Reus did say the Silver-Class level to Lyra, but that was because he considered that this Special-Class was indeed offered to him because it was time for him to change classes. He did not really consider the class given by the system to be a special class so he considered it as an advanced Silver-Class— class.

While traveling on horseback, Reus opened the Orbis Forum to browse through the discussions and news there. Previously, he only opened Orbis Forum because he wanted to sell the Items he got at Orbis Online, but after Ramsey's explanation of the updates and maintenance he had to prepare some anticipation and gather more information about this world.

Given that Orbis Online has just undergone an update, there is at least one two things that have changed besides Livetuna.

   "Elemental... A dripp?"

As his eyes explored the discussion section at Orbis Forum, Reus accidentally discovered a discussion that discussed the existence of a new Item available after the update was completed.

According to the results of the discussion, the Elemental Drip is an item in the form of a special liquid that contains the magical power of the world. The item was said to be able to give its users special powers such as the Elemental Rune, it was just that the Elemental Drip was more numerous and powerful in its usefulness.

From the information revealed by the Deraft Corporation itself Elemental Drip can make users have certain elemental powers in the world and some special overpower skills. One of the special skills that users can have is to become the nature of the element itself.

Although only temporary, when the skill is said to be able to ignore 99% of the damage received and increase the attack power of the element by as much as 300%. Of course, the appearance of the Item and its skills is very horrendous throughout the world of Orbis Online and the real world.

'Well, it looks like the balance of this world will be destroyed later.'

Reus only put on his sour face as soon as he read the discussion section that discussed the skills that Elemental Drip users would have. Well, after all his Blackstar sword alone was enough to create a furore in the eyes of players, but there were Items that surpassed him other than Relic? It wouldn't make him wonder that the Elemental Drip would be a game for players.

He also heaved a sigh of relief once he recognized the existence of this Item. At least his Blackstar wouldn't be a major concern for most players if it was accidentally exposed.

"Then, there are Hunger and Thirst statuses as well, huh? It's very troubling."

Reus's face turned even more sour when he saw the latest features in Orbis Online. The existence of a status that can measure the level of hunger and thirst really bothers the players. Wh why? Because if Hunger or Thirst status reaches its limit, the player's HP will be reduced little by little because of the buff of Hunger or Thirst.

Because he did not know this before, Reus could only feel annoyed and cursed in his heart considering he did not buy enough food and drink supplies.

***

After taking about eight hours on horseback, Reus finally reached his destination city, Bayfrost. The city was not as big and majestic as Livetuna before its collapse, but it could still be said to be a town rather than a village.

Reus then called back his horse into a miniature horse whistle so as not to trouble himself when entering the city. Horses do not include Pet, but are counted as Summon figures just as a Bull can be summoned from Bull's Summon Horn. The horse summoning item is usually called Horse's Whistle.

Together with some of his best Equip—without Blackstar—Reus passes through the Bayfrost gate which is usually guarded by a pair of guards. It sounds cliche, but it is common for any fantasy world to happen.

He asked the locals where the Class Registration was, but all the NPCs in the city were so stingy that he had to complete a few Quests first before getting an answer. Of course this makes Reus furious and immediately look for a place that he went alone.

"It's outrageous just for the sake of an answer I have to do a Quest first. What the fuck is wrong with this town?"

Complaining that, Reus kicked a stone near his foot. With annoyed feelings Reus also walked around the city looking for the Class Registration building, but did not meet also until an hour later. In the end he entered the Quest Center that he had passed to get information.

Quest Type: Extermination

Difficulty : E

The agricultural sector outside the city walls is often affected by the Wild Boar. Exterminate them so that the city's farms can return to normal!

Wild Boar: 0/10

Reward: Exp, Byl, Class Registration location

---

Reus complained a little about this, but at least the rewards from the Quest were still better than the citizens of the previous town. The NPCs in this city are too stingy.

After receiving it Reus searched for another Quest he could take in one trip. Rather than just taking one Quest, it was better for him to take several at once for the rewards to be a little more.

   "This..?"

Quest Giver: Mayor of Bayfrost

Quest Type: Research

Difficulty : B

Bayfrost is often plagued by the presence of Undead coming from the woods in the western part of the city. Investigate the forest and destroy the source of the problem!

Source of issue: 0/1

Reward: Respect, exp, Byl, Sword of Bayfrost, Ring of Bayfrost

---

Reading the Quest was Reus smiling little. He did not think that facing the Undead was easy, but that was the reason why Reus smiled. A new kind of enemy that he had never fought, it was quite perfect for him who was looking for new experiences that had never existed in the real world before.

Although it is possible that there are astral-type monsters like Ghost that have high resistance to physical attacks, at least he is aiming for the possibility of the Undead Hunter title that can increase his status passively and give more attack power to Undead-type monsters.

Upon receiving the two Quests Reus immediately left the Quest Center and intended to go to the forest west of Bayfrost, but in the middle of the road his steps stopped and he froze with the wry expression he showed. What makes it so?

   "Developer shucks!!!"

Reus shouted with all his might as his eyes found the Class Registration building that was currently right on his left. Is his luck only limited to the city of Livetuna? If so, what a poor Reus.
