207. Dragonreign

   "There's nothing here?"

True, there was not a single treasure let alone an Ultra Equip-level Item in the hidden room that Reus had found. The room did not hold any items, only dust and air in the room made Reus frown.

According to the information he had read from various sources, almost the entire hidden space within a Dungeon had abundant treasures accompanied by several High to Ultra level Items.

The reality? There is nothing but pebbles in this place.

   "Is this just my misfortune to find a hidden room without treasures?"

The confused Reus ventured further and watched the entire room, but moments after he walked from end to end Reus found nothing.

Reus then stepped closer to the wall of the room opposite the door, then watched closely. He turned to the door of the room for a moment before looking back at the carvings on the nearby walls.

   "And it all begins and ends with the seven dragons called the Dragon King, huh?"

Reus's gaze fell on the carved walls that formed the engravings of the seven long-necked dragon heads that looked at each other into another engravings shaped like a kind of flame.

Reus let out a heavy sigh not too sure of the results of his hypothesis this time, he was in no way confident when it came to history. This field can be said to be one of its weaknesses.

   "Remove this relief picture, but what do the words on the ceiling mean?"

Reus raised his chin to look at the writing on the ceiling while rubbing his chin.

   "Those who rule will be destroyed, those who are destroyed will rule. There is no eternal peace, only true chaos?"

Reus could feel the writing had something to do with the seven dragon kings who founded the state that eventually was called Bailendra Kingdom and the Order of Chaos which was probably the main antagonist of Orbis Online.

He interpreted 'those who rule will be destroyed' as the nation of dragons that were once so powerful now disappear like swallowed by the earth, while 'those who are destroyed will rule' interpret the Order of Chaos that was once destroyed by Randolf's group and friends who after hundreds of years of sleep are now resurrected.

   "'No lasting peace' means peace in the present, right? Then 'true chaos' is unquestionable. It was most likely a sign of a great war in the future."

Reus nodded slowly hoping that the meaning of the sentence on the ceiling did not miss, but at the same time did not expect his understanding to be correct. He thought maybe this sentence was a prophecy from the past about the great war that would happen in the present.

Reus breathed a heavy sigh after deciphering the sentence, not expecting the Orbis Online storyline to come from a prophecy like most RPG games in general.

Just as Reus was about to think about looking for other possible meanings, suddenly a semi-transparent panel appeared in front of Reus' face. He read the contents of the panel at a glance before smiling widely.

   "Oh, Ikshan is great. In just a few hours I've been getting a lead."

Reus was amazed to read the contents of the panel which turned out to be a message from Ikshan, containing a legend in the past told through an ancient fairy tale, the legend was called Dragonreign.

In the past, dragons lived harmoniously with other creatures on earth, their existence is not as a destructive monster that can melt everything but as a protector and a generous ruler.

Most dragons have a body size that is no smaller than a human castle so it is difficult to find a place to live, that is why the dragon people often settle on a mountain or hill which makes the dragon often interact with other creatures there, then blend into a unity of the place.

All that changes when the creatures become greedy and thirst for power, they intend to eradicate the dragon and seize their power. Initially the desire of these greedy creatures was laughed at and not taken seriously, but over time they then formed a group and hunted the dragon nation.

In the past there were no ordinary creatures capable of subverting dragons alone, but by increasing the number, creating various equipment and equipment, establishing cooperation, and thinking about mature strategies, for the first time in history, a dragon was killed not by age or by fighting with each other.

The actions of these greedy creatures do not stop there, they travel from one place to another that may be inhabited by dragons. From the weakest dragon to the more powerful dragon, everything can be finished off by these creatures.

Not only dragons are affected, other races that are the offspring of crossbreeding with dragons are also exterminated.

This then makes the nation of dragons that feel threatened and betrayed gather in one place, then led by seven dragons called the Seven Dragon Kings created a land where all dragons and their descendants can live in peace.

Unfortunately, by establishing the country does not reduce the intention of the creatures who want the dragon nation to perish, they also set up a large group equal to the country and attack the country founded by the Seven Dragon Kings.

A prolonged war erupted between the dragon race and the other races that opposed them for hundreds of years, in the end both sides suffered countless defeats and destruction.

The country inhabited by descendants of dragons is now referred to as the Land of Dragons that dominate the North Plainfest area, Bailendra Kingdom.

That was the end of the golden age of the dragon nation taken from the ancient fairy tale, Dragonreign.

   "So that's how it looks...."

Reus who had just finished reading the summary of the ancient fairy tale massaged his forehead, then turned his gaze towards the relief carving in this room gradually, gradually, from near the entrance until finally stopping at the sculpture in front of him.

After thinking hard for some time Reus finally shrugged while sighing. In the end he decided to step foot leaving the Dungeon while inspecting the Drop Item of the Four-Headed Dragon King Statue.
