152. Escape the V

Screams after screams rang out from the prison, making the valiant soldiers of Lavore Kingdom wry. All the soldiers had surrounded the entrance of the prison with weapons ready to be unsheathed but none of them dared to enter first, especially the screams suddenly disappeared and the atmosphere became so gripping.

   "Hey, what's going on?"

   "You ask me and I ask who?"

   "Ask your grandmother there!"

   "Hey, my grandmother is dead! What's the problem with my nene, huh?!"

   "It is precisely because your grandmother is dead that I ask you to ask her!"

The quarrels of the two soldiers usually make other soldiers laugh and change the atmosphere to be cheerful and bright but currently none of them are laughing or just entertained.

All the soldiers knew that no one was stupid enough to joke around in this serious atmosphere.

   "What's going on? What's the situation like?"

When the situation gripped for so long, a man in a uniform different from the others came and stole the attention of almost all the soldiers. Soon they stood up straight and saluted him.

   ""Head Warden!""

True, the man in a different uniform is not the head of the prison warden, the most powerful man in this place.

The warden asked for an explanation, one of the advanced explained the cause of this gripping situation.

   "Head, we heard there were prisoners who escaped, so we formed a group and examined them."

   "group? Checking the escaped prisoners to form a group?"

   "Without diminishing respect, Chief.... There were two Immortal Being prisoners there. We'll only take our lives if we check alone."

   "Hmph, are only your two Immortal Being scared? Plus chief Rosevince then your chances of being able to conquer Immortal Being are greater! How could a Lavore Kingdom warrior be this cowardly?!"

The soldier opened his mouth wanting to explain the situation further but not a word came out.

As the warden's head swore loudly at his subordinates who were in his view so cowardly, his shoulders were patted by someone from behind. When he turned his head there was a large-bodied man with a giant sword hanging from his back there.

   "Head warden, calm down. If you're emotionally consumed you won't be able to think straight."

   "Ah yes, Chief Rosevince."

The chief warden immediately muffled his anger no longer dare to curse blatantly. He did not want to make Rosevince unhappy because in terms of strength the two are quite different, not to mention Rosevince's position as the head of the Gaia's Tree branch that the king of Lavore Kingdom recognized.

Rosevince sighed for a moment before explaining the incident that the soldier had not told him before.

Magic head eyebrows rise and fall when they hear it, especially when Rosevince admits that the main cause of the prisoners can escape because he is quickly blinded by anger.

   "He can double up?"

Rosevince also added that he lost consciousness when he was hit with all his might by one of them, so he could not immediately intervene.

The mouth of the warden's head became even more silent when Rosevince explained the two Immortal Being who were being held was the mastermind of the destruction of Gaia's Tree branch a few days ago.

When Rosevince was busy explaining the strength of the two Immortal Being, there were screams full of pain from some nearby soldiers from the prison at about the same time. All attention was immediately diverted to a skull masked stranger who appeared carrying a sword there.

After saying so the figure swung a sword slashing at the closest soldier from him. In one swing the soldier's life floated without knowing who the figure who slashed at him was.

   "He's a prisoner! Surround him and attack him!"

Rosevince had first reacted to resuscitate most of the soldiers of the incident in front of them so quickly.

The soldiers raised their weapons swiftly and began to attack the skull masked figure simultaneously hoping that everything could be completed as quickly as possible, unfortunately the opposite happened.

   "Dragon Smite! Energy Wave!"

The figure twisted its body and unleashed a slash of energy waves that instantly attacked as well as repelling the soldiers around. Almost all of the soldiers who were hit by the energy wave were killed in one attack just now.

The figure did not stop there. He raised his left hand and pointed it at the soldiers closest to him. At the same time dozens of soldiers were drawn to one place and collided with each other before dying thanks to the slash of the sword.

   "What the fuck?!"

   "With swords and magic?! Swordmage?!"

   "No, it is impossible for ordinary Swordmage to be able to finish off our comrades in a single strike!"

The soldier who was closest to the figure looked so frightened. They tried to retreat further but the soldiers behind did not allow it. They were instead pushed forward, making them forced to attack and lose their lives in an instant.

   "Why? Scared?"

The figure flashed a cold smile before moving quickly to finish off the nearby soldiers. Each of his movements was almost always different in swinging his sword, but one thing was the same was that no warrior lived after receiving the third strike from that skull mask figure.

   "Surge! Let me fight him!"

Rosevince exclaimed loudly after pulling his greatsword from his back. He ran through the ranks of soldiers towards the figure of the troublemaker. He raised his sword high and dropped it with all his might when he reached the target's spot.

Behind his mask the figure raised his eyebrows for a moment before twisting his body followed by a simple yet powerful sword swing fending off the huge sword aimed at him.

The exchange of attacks created a huge wave of wryness until the few soldiers around retreated. Unfortunately although Rosevince's sword was much larger, the slash of the masked figure managed to thicken Rosevince's giant weapon.

   "You're such a bitch, chief Rosevince. Go back to the real world for a while."

After saying so the figure let out smoke which quickly formed five semi-transparent black swords which then fused into one sword. The handle of the sword was grabbed by the left hand of the skull-masked figure before being pushed through Rosevince's stomach.

   "Dragon's Fang!"

A baam!

Along with the call came the sound of a kind of small explosion in Rosevince's stomach. The bulging man lost consciousness shortly after creating a large hole in his stomach before turning into thousands of blue pixels, never knowing what killed him.

   "This is probably the deadliest combination I've ever had."

The masked figure wanting to scratch his head felt a little surprised at the attack he had just unleashed, not expecting his strength to be so strong that a player of his 200s level was killed in a single strike.

He sighed for a moment before starting to continue his swordplay taking away every single soldier's life that was about to fight.

The warden was wide-eyed when he saw Rosevince, the head of the Gaia's Tree branch of Alvast, killed in one attack. If Rosevince met his end so quickly, what about him?

No more screams or cries of the soldiers were heard in his ears. There was only one thing he was thinking about right now, which was that death was getting closer and closer.
