234. Small Fights

As soon as the three returned to Reus' inn and Ikshan let out a heavy sigh nothing happened that should make them take up arms hostile to Bailendra Kingdom.

It is true that there were events that almost made them act so but luckily Ibane was on their side, the chaos could be controlled and did not spread any further.

   "But, I didn't expect you to have Dragon Aura, Ibane. Especially much stronger than me."

   "I deliberately hid it to avoid unnecessary attention. Besides, you never ask me about my abilities either."

Reus and Ikshan smiled wryly unable to reply to Ibane's words.

Basically Aura Skill is a rare type of skill that is difficult to find in any place. If someone uses it, it will certainly attract attention and usually also invite bad problems.

Reus himself understood a little bit of the risk of using Dragon Aura outside the fight but he thought it was better than creating an unnecessary feud.

   "By the way you said you were a Summoner or a Tamer, right? Is it natural for a person who relies on the strength of his contracted animal to have Dragon Aura of that size?"

Ikshan stroked his chin while saying so making the real Reus also curious since earlier come to notice.

Usually, players or NPCs with Summoner or Tamer-type classes rely more on their partner's power in the fight according to Ikshan's words. Under certain circumstances the contract holder could borrow the strength of their contract partner such as a certain status increase or skill but for an Aura Skill like Dragon Aura it had never been heard of.

Ibane smiled faintly in response to Ikshan's words. He then took a deep breath before raising his voice again.

   "Well, I've made sure that you don't side with the Order of Chaos, plus since you're Arshwind acquaintances I don't think it's wrong for you to know my secret."

Upon hearing the word Order of Chaos followed by the name Arshwind coming out of the mouth of Ibane, Reus and Ikshan immediately took a distance and prepared to fight in the room with makeshift preparations.

Ibane gave a small laugh in response to Reus and Ikshan's reaction but did not blame the attitude of the two. He could have guessed something like this would happen if he offended both names.

   "How do you know the existence of the Order of Chaos? This information should still not be too spread among players and many do not believe if I have spread. Moreover, you have come to know the whereabouts of Arshwind that I never told anyone but Ikshan. Who the hell are you?"

Reus unsheathed the sword from his back without letting go of his vigilance while asking. Ikshan was not left behind either. He clasped his kusarigama swiftly along with a blue electric spark that was ready to be deployed at any time on his hand.

   "You think you can face me? With your current condition?"

Got a threat from Reus and Ikshan, Ibane did not feel afraid that he took one step closer and released Dragon Aura to the two of them making the human duo widen to find a semi-transparent panel appear in front of them.

   "{You were hit by Dragon Aura opponent. Reduce 24% All Status.}"

   "It's...."

Reus was almost in disbelief when he saw his entire status reduced by 24% just from being hit by the Dragon Aura belonging to Ibane. So far Reus has never been exposed to the effect of Debuff from his opponent but according to his experience until now, even his Dragon Aura can only reduce the opponent's status by about 10% at the highest.

Whether because of the amount of his Debuff percentage that was random or his Dragon Aura level was still less powerful, one thing was certain that the power of Dragon Aura Ibane was not something that could be matched by him now.

   "Hmm? I felt a certain resistance even though it was not so meaningful. What are you doing, Reus?"

Ibane furrowed her brows when she realized that her Dragon Aura was being held back by something invisible. It was neither the Dragon Aura nor any other Aura Skill that Reus possessed.

When Reus was confused what Ibane meant, another panel appeared just in front of him.

   "{You are dealing with a ruler. The entire status and resistance to Debuff has been improved to a certain degree. All Status +1 every minute during a fight against a ruler.}"

The semi-transparent panel immediately answered Reus's confusion and Ibane's question. He had even forgotten the ability of the special status he had recently obtained, Conquer.

Reus could feel the Debuff caused by Dragon Aura Ibane was slightly reduced and his strength increased by a fraction of a percent but unfortunately according to the Draconian, the reduction of Debuff given Conquer status was meaningless.

   "Ruler.... Do you have any king or emperor class, Ibane?"

Reus's question invites Ubane's forehead to shrivel, while Ikshan's attention is now turned to Reus, curious about the meaning of his colleague's words.

   "Where are you from.... Ah, so it seems. You're a conqueror."

Ibane retracted his Dragon Aura after getting an answer regarding Reus' question and made Reus and Ikshan's status return to normal but not with their guarding attitude.

   "Hey calm down, I don't actually want to find out because of you. I just wanted to threaten you a little bit because you guys just acted like that after I mentioned the Order of Chaos and Arshwind."

Seeing Reus and Ikshan still not lowering their weapons, Ibane smiled wryly but could understand. He then sighed and sat on the floor before coaxing the two.

   "I'll explain my situation, so can you put your weapons down? Beware but at least don't consider me an outsider. I've been with you guys for a few days, haven't I?"

Reus and Ikshan looked at each other as if discussing telepathically through the exchange of views. They nodded and continued to deliver their weapons to Ibane.

It makes Ibane want to sigh to feel disappointed with the two who seem unable to be invited to compromise but Reus and Ikshan's subsequent speech successfully made Ibane scream.

   ""Pay your debt at our first meeting in town before you want to be treated as friends! A creature that doesn't pay debts doesn't deserve to be called a friend!""

   "That's the problem?! Wait, why are you guys able to compact every time I say something I have to respond to like this?!"

   "Hmm, looks like he's really back to being the 'Idiotbane'* we know, Reus."

   "Now we can feel confident that he didn't mean anything bad to us."

   "Until when do you want to play me?! You want me to burn with my fire magic, huh?!"

Ibane had created a small fireball in his hand as the two spoke as if Ibane had not heard them. Reus and Ikshan hurriedly calmed Ibane down when they saw Ibane ready to burn down the entire inn.

It took some time for the two to calm down Ibane but thanks to that also the heavy atmosphere that had filled the room disappeared without a trace.

   "Well, leaving aside the joke just now I did intend to share my secret with you as fellow players who know the existence and put up a fight against the Order of Chaos."

Reus and Ikshan now sit on the floor opposite Ibane. They put their ears as well as they could remember what Ibane was going to say there might be updated information about the Order of Chaos.

   "First let me introduce you to someone."

Ibane raised his arm and suddenly a small white fire vortex was created on the arm, then after the vortex disappeared there appeared a small creature with four legs, had a pair of wings, and, as well as a slender tail dangling to the floor.

Ikshan slightly frowned as if he was curious what that creature was but to Reus who had seen it directly in the depths of Chaos Lair, he glared fiercely as if his eyes could come out at any moment.

   "He is Bahamut, the White Dragon King who is also often called The Sky Ruler."

   "[Yo, are you guys alright after feeling the Dragon Aura from a Dragon King like me?]"
