128. The Sword Lord's

"Moon Scythe Art Series: First Form – Crescent Moon!"

When he realized that another figure was approaching them, Ikshan immediately swung his chain of chariots to attack blindly. With his current level and status, the strength of his Moon Scythe Art Series had grown quite far compared to before.

Unfortunately, the ability of the purple-haired figure was still far from Ikshan's reach. He jumped high enough to dodge the attack kusarigama Ikshan, making the Phantom Reaper classy player surprised instead of playing.

Previously no one had ever been able to dodge his Moon Scythe Art Series that fast, even Ash who was a Boss-type monster of the 250s was difficult to dodge like that figure.

"Calm down, I'm not your enemy."

The figure landed perfectly on the ground, not looking the slightest trouble. Ikshan's face became wry at the landing of the figure, but he did not believe it.

"Moon Scythe Art Series: Second Form – Orbital Dance!"

Ikshan then played around his body which was slightly wrapped in chains, then threw his kusarigama at the mysterious figure many times with a non-playful power. Some trees in the trajectory of the attack fell in one attack.

Yet just like before, the figure was able to dodge all of Ikshan's attacks, even with his eyes closed!

Actually Orbital Dance is another form of Crescent Moon that is used in a row of up to five attacks quickly without the slightest pause, one of Ikshan's mainstay skills in all types of combat. It's just that the Energy consumed is so large that Ikshan rarely uses it.

In this situation Ikshan could not worry about the rest of his Energy, he should be able to protect Reus who was somehow seriously injured and lost consciousness as a higher level player.

"Oh come on, don't waste your energy any more."

Ikshan's breath was instantly depleted once he completed the fifth attack of Orbital Dance. He hoped that one or two Orbital Dance attacks could hit the figure decisively, but the ability of the figure turned out to be far beyond his shadow. None of his attacks hit his opponent, not even scraping his clothes could he do.

Ikshan knew he could not win if his attack alone was not on target, only that he could not retreat and let the helpless Reus be attacked just like that.

'How many levels does it have to be able to dodge that easily?'

While thinking that, Ikshan then focused his attention on the figure, looking at his information on the semi-transparent panel.

---

Randolf Wallenstein – The Sword Lord's

Level 750

---

Ikshan's heart paused for a moment as soon as he looked at the contents of the panel. Not only was the figure the person being sought, but also the level plastered under his name. There is an enormous difference between him and the figure in front of him, Randolf Wallenstein.

Ikshan immediately stopped his attack, fearing Randolf would retaliate. With such a wide difference in levels, it was not impossible for Ikshan to die with just one punch.

   "Oh, is it done?"

"Yes, forgive me for not knowing who I drew my weapon with."

This time he lowered his head as deeply as possible, hoping Randolf would not attempt to retaliate against his attack.

"Your partner is down and you're alone in this vast, terrible forest, I can understand."

   "Thank you very much."

Ikshan sighed in relief his hope was granted. At least he did not lose any level or Item. Unlike Reus who freely bought Item Lock Stone through Orbis Forum because of its Solid Gear Ultimate Edition capabilities, Ikshan only has Solid Gear regular edition.

Even if he wanted to buy it right now, he had to buy it through Reus who was losing consciousness.

"Ehm, we received a Quest from the villagers to eradicate the monster terror in this village."

Randolf nodded slowly understanding Ikshan's intentions. He then stepped closer to Reus who was lying on the ground, then took Blackstar out of his grasp. It made Ikshan become wary.

"Just calm down, I don't intend to take it."

He then touched his sword blade and muttered a few words. Right after Randolf muttered, somehow a pitch-black aura shot out from Blackstar for a while, then it returned to being an ordinary sword.

   "What the hell just now?"

"It's a seal to suppress something inside this sword."

   "Something...?"

"As this fellow's companion, at least you know a sword or two, don't you?"

   "Yes, less is more."

When mentioned, Ikshan recalled Blackstar's past, which was the spoiled sword of one of the supreme commanders of the Chaos Order, Gespent De'arin. In his hands Blackstar had taken over a hundred thousand sinful and innocent lives.

"The sword is made of a black star that sucks anything into it. That black star once sucked something so powerful and evil, and then sealed inside it."

"really? Miss Harleina didn't say anything about it."

   "Ah, he is indeed very."

Randolf's face shriveled unhappily knowing this. Maybe if Harleina was here, Randolf would hit her head using Blackstar's blunt blade. Then he explained more about Blackstar who had not been informed by Harleina.

Blackstar was actually made from the core of a huge phenomenon in space that devoured everything nearby, especially magic. Orbis Online residents consider it a magic or monster, then the phenomenon is referred to as Black Star—black star— due to its pitch-black appearance. This is where the name Blackstar comes from.

The phenomenon was then conquered by the Order of Chaos and its core was used as the main ingredient of Blackstar. If Blackstar's abilities were to be unleashed carelessly, then Blackstar could devour anything around him, even its users could be swallowed.

Even Reus' previous inhumane moves were only a bit of Blackstar's true abilities. When his abilities are forcibly released, then Blackstar will move to attack anything around him in exchange for 'eating' him, especially those considered enemies by its users.

Reus who was currently losing consciousness was the result of his inability to hold back the power and desire of Blackstar Eaters, resulting in a large part of his body being destroyed inside. If only Reus was an NPC, he would have been lifeless.

   "Blackstar has such an ability?"

"Well, this sword had a level requirement of over 1,000 in the past. Its level dropped to such an extent that it had never been used to kill for hundreds of years."

   "More than a thousand...."

Ikshan could not comment further. As far as he knew Equip with the highest level requirement ever discovered by a player was only level 350, if it ruled out Relic's recent discovery, the Goblet of Eternity.

If such a sword falls back into the hands of the Chaos Order, I don't know what will happen. That was what Ikshan thought when he heard this reality.

"Alright, ignore that first. Let's go to my residence. You need a place to stay and your friend needs treatment."

   "But, what about the Quest?"

"Your friend's condition is more worrisome, isn't it?"

   "I think you're right."

Eventually Randolf carries Reus on his shoulder, while Ikshan holds Blackstar instead. Although he objected a little to paying the village lodging fee, at least Randolf knew better how to handle Blackstar and Reus than he did.
