225. The Three Dragon Council Envoy

Three days had passed since the quarrel between Reus and the soldiers of Bailendra Kingdom in the inn was widespread throughout the city and to this day no messenger or soldier dared to do anything against the entourage Reus was in addition to observing from afar.

"seen? Is that a human who had made a furore a few days ago?"

"It looks like it, but isn't there something strange? He made such a big fuss with the army and up until now no noble has dared to act?"

"What do kings and nobles think?"

The entire Dragnar people around discussed for a moment when they saw a group of humans walking leisurely in front of them while chewing some snacks.

Right now Reus, Ikshan, and Ibane were walking back to the inn after finishing their business in the Black Pomegranate Shop.

"Hei Reus, is this just my feeling or is the attitude of the townspeople towards us a little softened? Now they're more inclined to look at us with curious eyes than hate than ever before."

"There's no need to be surprised, Ikshan. Reus had made a big fuss three days ago and still had not been taken seriously by the local nobility, even though he was about to clash with an army of Lizardmen. They must be astonished."

Reus' forehead twitched for a moment as Ibane answered Ikshan's curiosity in reverse and almost reflexively snapped the Draconian.

"You want to make a fuss or something? Those who come and act rude first, even intend to make me a scapegoat without listening to my explanation. I don't want to give up and just obey."

Ibane smiled wryly getting a sharp response from Reus. He also did not want to receive similar treatment but Ibane did not intend to fight until almost crossing swords in this country.

He still thinks twice if he wants to make a fuss in any country, especially in the Dragon Country, which is a very gripping situation for human beings and the like, but Ibane doesn't think Reus doesn't hesitate to fight them physically.

"But, they are indeed quite slow in responding to this incident when it can be said that this can tarnish their pride as the descendants of the strongest nation."

Ikshan rubbed his chin while saying so feeling a little confused.

In the current situation it should be that Bailendra Kingdom immediately took action against Reus who was a human as well as beating up his army three days ago, but in fact, not only has there not been the slightest movement from the leaders of the country other than just observing from a distance.

Both Reus, Ikshan, and Ibane are aware that although there has not been a certain movement of high-ranking people at least they have been closely monitored by certain people so far.

Reus and Ikshan are humans whose incident is the creature that is currently most hated by the entire Bailendra Kingdom, while Ibane has a similar appearance despite having dragon blood flowing in her veins.

No wonder the surveillance on all three is so strict.

Ibane wanted to respond to Ikshan's words according to his assumptions but before he could open his mouth, Reus reacted first.

"Not really, look they've been waiting for us."

Reus said as he pointed at the inn—more precisely the mixed warrior line consisting of dozens of Lizardmen and Dragonewt waiting in front of the inn where they were based in this country.

Among the dozens of soldiers who looked dashing stood a Dragonewt dressed in elegant luxury accompanied by a pair of personal guards on his left and right.

Dragonewt looked like the nobleman smiled as warmly as possible to welcome the arrival of the Reus troupe.

"Welcome, Mr. Reus and his friends. We've been waiting."

The inn is not a building that is often the center of attention. Indeed, in terms of the number of lodging one of the most facilities built among contemporary civilization, but now there is no inn more striking than this inn.

   "Yes, it's me."

The atmosphere of the inn became more tense when Reus, Ikshan, and Ibane sat opposite a noble Dragonewt who looked elegant. Not to forget the dozens of his guard soldiers who were partly guarding on the outside and inside the inn without looking the slightest gap.

   "Then let me introduce myself."

The noble Dragonewt stood up for a moment before slightly bowing his back revealing the typical style of a high-class noble.

"I am Salvinius Dragnova, the Clan Chief Dragnova who holds the position of 'Taring' in the Three Councils of Dragons, sent as a representative of the Three Councils of Dragons to meet you all."

Reus raised his eyebrows as soon as Salvinius finished his introduction, Ikshan and Ibane also reacted similarly even though the three were not Dragnar natives.

It is no secret that Bailendra Kingdom or what is often called the Land of the Dragon is not just ruled by a king, it also has a unique political system in which Bailendra Kingdom is governed and ruled by the Three Dewans of Dragons.

The three Dragon Councils themselves are an assembly group consisting of three high-ranking noble clans that rule the Bailendra Kingdom with King Bailendra Kingdom, Dragnova is one of them.

"What made the Dragnova clan, as representatives of the Three Dragon Council, intervene on this matter?"

"I'm sure you'll say that, so let me explain,"

Salvinius explains that the arrival of Reus and Ikshan in Bailendra Kingdom as the envoy of King Lavore Kingdom to search for a person has been known for quite some time through Captain Strainer's information network from the border, but they chose not to interfere too much in the affairs of the two as long as they did not act suspiciously.

It is not known whether Reus and Ikshan have completed the task given by Aulcrat, but as long as they are still within the territory of Bailendra Kingdom both will continue to be closely watched, until finally there was a conflict between Reus and a group of soldiers Bailendra Kingdom and almost bloodshed in between.

"That's why I was sent to represent Bailendra Kingdom on this matter."

"I understand the problem, but why did the Three Dragon Boards intervene? Isn't a small matter like this usually left to the Military Chief or something like that?"

Reus had actually expected that a Military Chief or some kind of noble would come to him, but he had never expected the Three Councils of Dragons to come like this. He thought this matter was not so big considering his feud with a group of soldiers a while ago was only a trivial matter.

"Yes, in the usual situation the Military Chief would intervene against a matter like this."

"Then at this moment what was the situation until it involved one of the clans of the Three Dragon Council?"

Looking at Reus' plain-looking face and not knowing anything, Salvinius scratched his cheek for a moment hiding his shocked expression before raising a voice.

"Mr Reus, have you forgotten your current position?"

"Position? 'The sheep in the wolf's nest'?"

   "Well, that's not wrong anyway...."

Salvinius wanted to pat his head but managed to hold back as the envoy of the Three Dragon Council. He then pulled out an envelope and showed it to Reus.

"Right now you are the envoy of the King of Lavore Kingdom, Aulcrat von Lavore Reinberg, which means you are arguably the diplomat of Lavore Kingdom. Is that understandable?"

Reus paused for a moment before his forehead shriveled violently.

   "Huh?"
