Orbis Online

Orbis Online
44. Redgard and Crimson Castle

After using the Viredeta Teleport Scroll, Reus moved from the strategy tent at the campground to the middle of the village of Viredeta. He who realized he was already inside the village immediately ran towards a quiet and narrow place.

Although at night in a village that does not have lighting like Livetuna, he still has to be vigilant so that he is not caught.

Arriving in the narrow passageway, Reus retrieves some of the junk Equip he got from the fight against the Goblins and Hobgoblins from the Inventory and wears it. He uses this trash Equip not because he wants to, but this is for the sake of his disguise so as not to be discovered.

Although the actual disguise using Equip Goblin and Hobgoblin is not very supportive, but Reus heard that Goblin and Hobgoblin in Orbis Online have low intelligence— in other words stupid. Reus thought that he might be able to fool the monsters that played a role in the Event Monstrous Invasion.

He replaced all the Equip that he wore into the Goblin standard Equip that he got as a drop item earlier. Fortunately he had not sold all this, otherwise he could have been caught even before carrying out his duties.

Of all the Equip, only Blackstar did not become Goblin's Sword or Wuln's Sword. Because if he was found out, he could still defend himself with all his might. Besides, even though all in this place are mob monsters, it is also possible that they have some kind of Goblin Shaman or Goblin Haunter like before.

If he was attacked using a Magic-type skill, then he could devour it using Blackstar then instantly return it in an instant and it could be a golden opportunity to go from there.

Well, even though Reus was caught also he still had a Teleport Scroll Checkpoint that could make him switch places in an instant to the Raid players camp. There was nothing for Reus to be afraid of right now.

In that place also Reus opened an internet browser and saw the Orbis Forum. There he was looking for an Item that he said was quite expensive for players in the lower middle economy. He doesn't care about the price, but there's something more important than his money right now, Blackstar.

Yes, what you guys are guessing is indeed true, Reus is looking for an Item Lock Stone. He needed the Item to secure Blackstar from being lost to drop the item if only he died before he could use the Checkpoint Teleport Scroll.

"Oh, meet. But really the price?"

Reus's face sharpened from joyful to sour in one second as soon as he saw the price attached to the bottom of the Item. To obtain the Item Lock Stone, Reus had to willingly pay 100,000 Byl to the seller.

This then makes Reus think again will buy it or not. If he doesn't buy it, there's a chance Blackstar will disappear from his Inventory when he dies. But if he bought it, the positive side he got was that Blackstar was already safe peacefully within his Inventory so he no longer needed to worry about falling as a drop item.

"Alright .. for being forced to make my load a little light, I let it go."

Reus reluctantly finally decided to purchase one Item Lock Stone from the Orbis Forum.

Of course at the same time the Item was directly in his Inventory. He immediately used the Item Lock Stone that he had just bought it on Blackstar so as not to fall as an item drop.

Redgard is the center of the Crimson Castle Legion. Crimson Castle— Legion LeaderCrystina— who got a notification from one of the Legion members about the raid of high-level mob monsters towards the city wall made the Crimson Castle Legion panic.

Because almost three-quarters of the total members from the east at that time the sun had set was not online, Crimson Castle was about to accept defeat from the onslaught of high-level mob monsters on the border wall.

In a large building with a shape like a white palace that is dominated by red, inside one room there was a bright red-haired woman fluttering in a ponytail-style tied up sitting on a pair of chairs and a table holding chins in her hands that stood stacked on the table.

The face is creepy, has one small black horn on its forehead, dark skin color that lean to purple, bright red mane and eye bead that looks like ruby stone, and is very dark, and a strong body about 180 centimeters tall, then there was also a giant iron sword that looked bigger than his body leaning against the wall behind him. That is the appearance that is usually seen from this player named Crystina.

Although she is a woman, in Orbis Online there has never been a player with another Berserker class who can defeat her. Its destructive power is so powerful that it is nicknamed Crimson Surt by the players.

Note: Surt is the fire giant of the ruler of Musphelheim who will end Ragnarok by burning the nine worlds using his fire in Norse mythology.

Right now he was thinking how to deal with the onslaught of attacks from monsters that swept through the entire Plainfest continent continuously.

In the first attack directed at Redgard, Crimson Castle can repel the monsters but with a small casualty fee. Many NPC lives in the city have been lost to the battle and this also applies to NPCs who are members of Crimson Castle.

The first attack alone has taken a toll and this much loss, what about the second wave that might appear soon?

As her mind sailed in search of the island 'Street Out', Cystina was struck by the sound of one of her members entering her room with a breath and a panicked expression. His attention was taken by the player, even though he had not been called.

"Chairman, the Gigantic Wormtail monster suddenly appeared from the ground and carried a large number of insect-type monsters from within its mouth!"

Crystina was shocked upon hearing this news from the lips of one of her members, but she swallowed the shock and immediately took action without thinking.

"They keep coming! Tell all the members who are still online as well as the NPC members to directly charge forward! Do not let the city of Redgard which is the main headquarters of Crimson Castle fall! Tell me this is a direct order from me!"

   "Ready-done!"

The bearer immediately darted out of the room and informed Cystina's orders to the other Crimson Castle members as quickly as possible.

Crystina herself growled in her room, then stood up and walked towards the windowpanes in her room. He looked towards the middle of the city where a giant worm that was about 20 meters high appeared from the ground along with insect-type mob monsters.

"Cih, this way I also have to intervene!!"

Right after screaming releasing her sense of regret, Crystina picked up her giant sword on the wall and walked out of the room. He who could not bear to see Redgard getting destroyed decided to go to battle.
