210. Three Players

   "Thank you very much! Thanks to you I was saved!"

The foreign man who met Reus and Ikshan earlier now gathered on the floor to express his deepest gratitude thanks to the help of the two.

   "No problem, human beings or humans themselves are often in trouble in this country, especially in the present times."

Reus patted the human shoulder before him and asked him to get up, saying there was no need to think too much about it.

   "After all we're fellow players, I could have charged you in the real world."

   "Hmm, that's right."

The figure then got up and introduced himself.

   "My name is Ibane, a Draconian and my class can be said to be a Summoner or a Tamer."

   "Oh, Summoner or Tamer? That's a pretty rare class among players, isn't it? Ah, my name is Reus and this is my friend Ikshan."

Reus introduced himself and Ikshan followed Ibane, although the three were able to see their respective names on top of their heads just below the player's special recognition ball.

Right now they were in an inn room, they had just finished lunch when Ibane was still eating Reus' meat-bread. It can be seen that this person is very hungry from the way he eats.

Ibane told me she arrived in the country a few weeks ago in search of a monster strong enough to make a contract with her, but in the middle of the search she heard the Menschrein Kingdom declare war on Bailendra Kingdom.

At first, he was ordinary and did not comment on the statement because Ibane was just a traveler who happened to be visiting Bailendra Kingdom, but he was wrong. His attitude actually made him languish behind prison bars.

Ibane was detained due to his form that looks like a human and is suspected to be a Menschrein Kingdom spy although he has repeatedly denied, but fortunately there are high-ranking people who can see Ibane is not human.

Thanks to that Ibane can be free from prison bars, but his body that looks like a human and does not wear a white cloth that symbolizes 'not dangerous' it often creates misunderstandings.

The citizens of Bailendra Kingdom had long disliked humans, plus the declaration of war from the Menschrein Kingdom made their views on humans even darker. Not a few shops and various other businesses refuse to deal with business with humans or that is tangible because of this.

Ibane could only find one inn for a place to stay even though the price was very high, but he had no other choice. Ibane had to rent a room in this place because no other inn would accept it.

In addition to lodging and money, Ibane also suffered from hunger in this place because no one intended to sell food to someone human in the whole Dragnar. Only the inn where he lived provided food for him, but unfortunately the price was no less expensive than the price of the room last night.

Since the latest Orbis Online update, the, the Hunger and Thirst statuses added are enough to make some players overwhelmed because if they do not eat or drink within a certain period of time their status can decline gradually and can result in death if left unchecked.

In the case of Ibane, he had already eaten almost four days without anything, while his HP and money parameters were completely on the verge of breaking. Therefore, the help of Reus and Ikshan who distributed their supplies made Ibane very grateful.

   "Can't you get out of here then?"

Ibane immediately shook his hand in response to Reus' question.

   "I've tried it many times but it's still not allowed. A human or a creature similar to him could only get out of here with a letter of recommendation from a certain king or nobility."

Reus nodded softly at the words of Ibane, he felt that was the most reasonable answer in times like these. At the same time Ibane raised her eyebrows realizing something.

   "By the way, where are you from and what is a country like this?"

   "Ah, we from Lavore Kingdom are carrying out a certain mission to find someone here."

Ibane's forehead shriveled a little to hear it.

   "You realize you're human, don't you?"

Reus and Ikshan looked at each other for a moment in response to Ibane's question, then looked back at the man and raised their voices compactly.

   "Don't answer along with a face full of such confusion! It sucks!"

Ibane was eager to slap the two players in front of him but managed to hold. He let out a heavy sigh to calm himself down and pointed at the two.

   "Having a mission is okay, but did you not know the condition of Bailendra Kingdom at that time?"

   ""Well, why?""

Ibane had almost slapped both of them, but he remembered they were the ones who saved him.Ibane managed to hold his hand so as not to move spontaneously slapping their cheeks.

Ibane took a deep breath while massaging his now throbbing forehead before raising his voice once again.

   "Do you know the condition of this country and still take the mission?"

   "Well, from the beginning I did intend to come here to find out something before the relationship of Bailendra Kingdom and Menschrein Kingdom was destroyed."

Reus' words of success made Ibane wonder about the sanity of the two people in front of him, but seeing Ikshan also nod in agreement he could not comment further.

   "So, have you found anything about the person you're looking for?"

   "Yes, according to the information we got he's in town and we intend to visit him tomorrow."

Ibane stroked his chin to hear Reus reply. He doesn't see Reus being distracted or trying to lie about their mission even if he's just an outsider.

Ibane thought for a moment and raised her voice.

   "How about I help you find or escort you? Your level is still a little low compared to the monsters here, right? Count as my gratitude."

Reus and Ikshan raised eyebrows in response to the words of Ibane. Both can see that Ibane is level above 240 and on a level they are both still losing to him, but that is not the case.

They looked at each other for a moment before patting Ibane's shoulder.

   "I'm sorry, but our mission is classified. We can't accept such a sudden offer."

   "Oh, no problem. If it's a secret mission then I'll just keep you guys from afar and not interfere too deeply. How's it?"

Reus and Ikshan's forehead shriveled slightly, they could see that Ibane was eager to follow them for some reason. He was even seen forcing his way in, when asked his goal of the answer to Ibane was quite surprising.

   "Don't I just say that? I just wanted to express my gratitude."

Ibane said he did not have much money now to pay for the food Reus gave him, even to sleep alone Ebane several times forced to sleep on grass in order to save food costs.

   "I as a Japanese don't want to be known as an unrequited person to my helper!"

Ibane got up and patted his chest while exclaiming so, a glance of a proud expression on his face. Reus and Ikshan themselves scratched their heads a little worriedly but could not resist either because Ibane's persuasion was very persuasive.

In the end they both surrendered and let Ibane take part to meet Nocht the next day.

   "But you can't get too close when we talk to him."

   "Let's just be calm, I'm not a person who doesn't respect other people's privacy."

Reus and Ikshan let out a long sigh ending their gathering and went to the counter table to rent another room for them to stay in during their stay in Dragnar, while Ibane lay on his bed while staring at the ceiling of his room.

   "What do you think, Bahamut?"

If you notice a glimpse of Ibane sounds like talking to himself, but not for him who after a while heard another voice in his mind.

   "{I can feel this young man named Reus has Dragon Aura and dragon blood, but he is still the size of a toddler in my view.}"

   "I can sense he has Dragon Aura, but dragon blood? I've never heard of any human with dragon blood and still remain human."

The sentence spontaneously came out of Ibane's lips and unknowingly an arch of smile was slowly created adorning her face throughout the night.

   "Reus, interesting person."
