183. The Feelings of Two People

"You Immortal Being, a being that came from another world! What do you know about our feelings?!"

Sylph's cry sounded so loud throughout the entire dungeon room, it was possible that even her voice could be heard throughout the entire palace. Aulcrat and the three guards in the room closed their ears to the loud sound of Sylph, but strangely Reus who was closest to Sylph seemed to ignore the young man's cry.

Reus was silent where he stood with his eyes blank, not feeling Sylph's loud cry disturbing his hearing.

Reus' reaction was met with a smile and a cynical laugh by Sylph.

"You guys, Immortal Being has no idea what the inhabitants of this world are feeling! What it's like to lose the people closest to you, the people you trust, the people you love, lose everything! You will never understand!"

Sylph's cynical laughter grew more and more so as word for word came out of her mouth. It sounded so clear that he was currently mocking and insulting Reus who he felt had just realized the cruel thing in this world.

Sylph laughed louder and louder over time, leaving Aulcrat and his three guards worried for any actions Reus might take. The three would not be surprised if Reus decided to kill Sylph after being insulted to such an extent.

A few moments after Sylph's laughter began to subside, Reus had just arched a faint smile on his lips. At first glance the smile looks just an ordinary smile that can be found anywhere, but at this time only Sylph who knows the smile contains sadness, anger, and ***** kill a big one.

Sylph suddenly gulps her saliva when she senses *****the killing seeps out of Reus' body, and even Aulcrat and his three guards also form a battle preparation. They had already taken up arms and advanced forward Aulcrat prepared against everything that might happen.

Reus did not really care what the guards and Aulcrat were doing right now, he simply smiled at Sylph before raising his left hand forward. He deploys Telekinesis through the prison bars and pulls Sylph's body towards him, intending to strangle Sylph's own neck.

Unfortunately thanks to the anti-magic chain shackling Sylph's ankles and hands, Reus could not do that. He decided to pull Sylph's body as much as possible until a loud clatter now filled the entire room.

   "Uargh!!

Sylph screamed loudly thanks to Reus's sudden action. As a result of both hands and feet being shackled to the prison wall by anti-magic chains, all the bones in Sylph's body creaked as if they had broken bones.

Aulcrat and the three guards who were standing quite far away from the place where Reus and Sylph were located seemed so shocked and scared at the same time.

Can look pale color on their face if only face protection does not protect their expression. Even Aulcrat himself has felt nauseous seeing Sylph's body shape which is now not suitable for humans in general.

Although the sight was painful and disturbing for Aulcrat and his three guards, Reus did not care. He kept pulling the Sylph body until it was unnaturally shaped thanks to the chains on both of his most important limbs.

For a moment of exerting his Telekinesis on Sylph, Reus had only unleashed his skill as Sylph's expression looked so agonized.

Sylph's body just fell on the floor without energy with both hands and feet in an undue position, she moaned in pain.

Reus raised his chin slightly looking at Sylph who was now lying weakly helpless. Reus' eyes looked ice-cold and as sharp as thousands of swords combined.

"You're not an Immortal Being, why do you know that we can't feel or understand things like that?"

A cold tone emanated through his voice, Reus really looks like a different person now. Sylph was even able to feel the cold and anger in every word of Reus even at a glance.

Sylph could only bite her lips, feeling embarrassed yet annoyed to have been consumed by her own words while enduring the pain all over her body.

Reus looked at Sylph coldly for a while until he finally let out a heavy sigh. He crouched down and took out a bottle of clear water from the Inventory, then poured a drop into Sylph's mouth which was now on the verge of losing consciousness.

In an instant, Sylph's body again let out a loud crackling sound but unlike before, Sylph's previously unnaturally shaped body was now gradually returning to normal in visible speed.

"Sorry about that, sometimes I become like a beast when I get angry."

   "Yes, no problem.... That's natural...."

There was no smile on the faces of the two. Both Reus and Sylph understood the matter was not as simple as they knew it.

Reus once again sighed before inserting the bottle of Dragon Miracle Tear into the Inventory. He sat down and leaned against the prison cell, while Sylph crawled closer and leaned against the wall. His face was bowed to the floor and seemed to lose the spirit of life.

Reus could see the guilt of Sylph, who had previously said something inappropriate about things that were not yet definitely true. He sighed for a moment then looked at the ceiling.

"You know, I used to be in your position. Although that doesn't mean I have power, I understand the feeling of losing the people you love."

Sylph raised her eyebrows hearing Reus' words. The silvery-white-haired young man did not care about Sylph's reaction, he then told her about the events several years ago. The incident in which he lost both his parents in a bloody event.

Reus tells the story of where his parents were murdered right in front of him, how he took revenge against the *****, as well as mixed feelings of anger, disappointment, and anger, as well as the desire for revenge in his chest long ago.

Sylph's expression changed over time while listening to Reus' story. Even if Reus' hands were not covered in blood from the killing, still losing a loved one was one of the events that most people did not want to experience.

At the end of the story, Sylph's face looked so grim and wry. If Reus looked at his face a little more thoroughly then he could tell at this moment Sylph was shedding tears thanks to her frustration and frustration.

Sylph was blinded by her anger and desire for revenge to the point of saying things she did not know about Reus. He had only realized that Immortal Being was just like himself if it put aside their immortality and abilities that were supported by the Online Orbis system. He felt so guilty and frustrated.

"Well, that doesn't mean I'm pretentious to judge your actions to be right or wrong. It could be that your actions are right in exacting revenge, but at the same time your actions may be wrong for seeking revenge against an innocent person."

Reus said so as to end his story. He looked back at Sylph who was bowing to the floor.

"I am not here to ask you to sacrifice or forgive them, but you must know that king Aulcrat is controlled only by others. I know who your real revenge target is."

Sylph reacted to the last sentence Reus said, he lifted his chin and looked into the young man's eyes in search of lies in those words, but he did not find any lies in Reus' eyes. All Reus's words are truth.

Sylph's eyes looked more lit and alive a while later after feeling confident in Reus' words.

   "Who are they?"

"Lucius Maen'ra, one of the higher-ups of the Order of Chaos who is a hidden giant organization that intends to envelop the entire world in darkness."

Without hesitation Reus explained all the things that he felt Sylph needed to know. Starting from the Order of Chaos, Lucius Maen'ra and other higher-ups of the Order of Chaos that he knew, until the true events of Aulcrat were controlled by Lucius Maen'ra for the past five years.

He also explained that Maen'ra was also behind the practice of worshiping the altar of darkness throughout Lavore Kingdom. It is likely that this was done in order to increase the power of the Order of Chaos.
