Orbis Online
188. Headed North - Arc 3 End

Dragonewt Blood or better known as Dragonewt Bloodgist is one of the rare consumption items that are able to increase the status of one to three levels of users.

Although the quality was far different from Dragon Bloodgist which could raise a status of five to ten levels if consumed one whole bottle, at least Dragonewt Bloodgist was able to raise one's status without much effort.

The Dragon race itself has rarely appeared since the first release or the historical setting of the Orbis Online world, so Dragonewt who is a descendant of Dragon is targeted by greedy people around the world.

It had been countless how many innocent Dragonewt had died at the hands of greedy people. If not for the existence of the Bailendra Kingdom protecting reptilian races like the Dragonewt then the descendants of these Dragons might have become extinct by now.

"Dragonewt Bloodgist wasn't the only reason they attacked Bailendra Kingdom."

Aulcrat explained that in addition to his blood, Dragonewt body parts can also be taken and processed into various high-level Equip even though the quality is not up to 10% of the original Dragon race.

In addition to Dragonewt's body which could be said to be a pile of living treasures, the Menschrein Kingdom also embraced human superiority which was the biggest reason for its inhabitants being driven to exterminate the Bailendra Kingdom of the Plainfest Continent.

Not only Bailendra Kingdom, all countries that are controlled and dominated by races other than humans are also targets of the Menschrein Kingdom in the future after the Dragon Country.

   "It's a very human characteristic."

Both of Reus' hands were clenched so tightly knowing that not only was Bailendra Kingdom the target of the Menschrein Kingdom, his expression looked so upset.

Aulcrat and Sylph were just as upset as Reus when he heard the news, but as a weak little country let alone help, even giving voice support to Bailendra Kingdom alone Lavore Kingdom did not dare.

Ikshan himself who had only listened since then also condemned the actions of the Menschrein Kingdom in his heart. Even though he was just a player from another world, after meeting Reus and going through various things, Ikshan felt that the NPCs in this world were not just a collection of algorithms.

Reus took a deep breath before looking back at Aulcrat and Sylph who were now a little worried about Reus refusing their request after learning of the state of Bailendra Kingdom.

"No problem, I have business there anyway."

   "Mr Reus...."

"Oh, can I have this room instead as a private room?"

"Maybe, but may I know what it is for?"

Actually Aulcrat could have directly handed over this room for free, but he also had to know the purpose of Reus to this room.

"I have a skill that makes it easy for me to move places in an instant, so I want to make this room the location of my place in the future if possible."

Reus explains the existence of his Hyper Switch which is able to exchange places with an object he once touched without caring about the distance but will fail if others touch it.

He was thinking of leaving something that he had marked in this room so that if at any time the Lavore Kingdom ran into trouble, he could come to help in an instant.

"You're not part of Lavore Kingdom, but you're thinking of us to the extent.... What a noble figure...."

As Aulcrat was moved to hear what Reus was aiming for, the silvery-white-haired young man himself scratched his cheek while smiling wryly.

'Well, actually it's just an excuse for me to move anywhere without requiring a lot of time or cost.'

In the end Aulcrat agreed that this room was given as a special room for Reus without asking any further then left Reus and Ikshan in the room to let the two rest.

***

A few days after Reus received Aulcrat and Sylph's request, it was time for Reus and Ikshan to continue their journey to Bailendra Kingdom which had been long overdue.

At the entrance of Alvast can be seen a large group consisting of Aulcrat the king of Lavore Kingdom, Sylph the Warlock of Gale, Crystina who is a player nicknamed Crimson Surt, Kynel, Ramsey, Dunk, and others, as well as the dozens of Elite Knights from Lavore Kingdom.

This group was flashy enough to attract the attention of the surrounding residents, especially the dozens of Elite Knights as well as a middle-aged man dressed luxuriously in the middle of the formation.

"You guys are too much! We're on a march or what?!"

Reus immediately expressed that the violent protests could not stand the attention of hundreds of Alvast residents who are now wondering about the identity of Reus and Ikshan who are at the forefront of the formation.

The dozens of Elite Knights escorting Aulcrat were eager to warn Reus not to speak out against Aulcrat, but the middle-aged man requested that they not do anything that could make Reus angry or offended.

Actually the Elite Knights disagreed with Aulcrat's opinion which sounded too high looking at the young man they had never known before, but they all knew that the young man was a figure capable of facing a thousand Lavore Kingdom's original troops alone.

No one had been able to carve a feat as high as Reus as long as Lavore Kingdom stood, even Xavier Desgnar who was dubbed the strongest person in the Lavore Kingdom alone might only be able to deal with half of the amount faced by Reus.

There could be no Elite Knight who was that stupid to look for trouble with someone as strong as Reus.

"You know what else, Reus. The king needs a bodyguard in the city."

   "But this is too much...."

"Well, whatever it is we better get out of here. I've been postponing this trip for too long."

Reus sighed for a moment looking at the densely packed sea of Alvast citizens from the horse given by Aulcrat.

Although Reus's current running speed was faster than any horse's steps, he did not possess unlimited stamina. For this reason Aulcrat presented a special type of Horse's Whistle to Reus and Ikshan.

At first glance the summoned horse was not too different from an ordinary horse, it was just that the stamina and speed of this summoned horse was much greater than the average horse.

"With this we can reach Bailendra Kingdom sooner than expected."

Reus stroked the dark-black neck of the horse with several polka-dot white patterns in several places, as well as the bright white stripes he rode gently, making the horse look like him. Reus smiled slightly in response to the horse's reaction.

"From now on we're going on an adventure together, maybe it's good if I give you a name."

The horse snorted softly as if it understood Reus' words.

"What about Spirit? He's a horse character in one of my favorite movies."

The horse again snorted, but this time it looked happier. It was visible from his body movements. Reus once again gently rubbed Spirit's neck with a smile.

   "It's good if you like."

On the other hand Ikshan who had witnessed Reus' interaction with his horse was slightly stunned.

"Reus, do you actually like animals?"

"What do you mean 'actually'? I've loved animals since I was a kid."

"Then, why do you hate cats so much? Take Gordon on Ramsey's shoulder."

"Oh, you won't believe what I've been through because of the cat...."

Reus is a little frightened when he tells of an experience in the past that caused him to hate cats to Ikshan.

Ikshan's expression changes drastically after learning the reason behind why Reus hates cats. He felt a little pity.

"So you used to have an accident that almost cost you your life because a couple of fighting cats suddenly appeared and blocked your path?"

"Right, ever since then me and the cat are eternal enemies."

Reus, who was once terrified, now looks filled with anger as he recalls the terrible experience.

If not for the driver of the car in front of him reacting quickly at that moment, perhaps Reus would have already reincarnated into a little boy in isekai by now.

After chatting for a while, Reus and Ikshan checked the equipment and needs they needed on the trip for the last time. They do not want to experience unexpected events thanks to the lack of supplies on the day of departure.

"Okay, I don't think there's anything to worry about anymore."

Reus raised his voice after re-examining the contents of his Inventory. There was nothing lacking in food or drink supplies, at least he did not have to worry about being exposed to Hunger and Thirst status during the trip.

   "I'm the same."

Ikshan responded to Reus's statement finished finding nothing lacking in his Inventory. Reus nodded slowly before turning his head towards Aulcrat and the others from on horseback, Ikshan followed.

   "Then we'll leave now."

"Yes, may the Goddess Fortuna be with you all."

Aulcrat gave his blessing to the two young men before leaving with a smile.

Reus's gaze then shifted to the figure of Dunk standing right beside Kynel.

"Train and level up further if you want to catch up."

"Sure, I'll catch up with you guys soon."

After saying goodbye to Dunk, Kynel, Ramsey, Crystina, even Sylph and Aulcrat, Reus and Ikshan then drove their horses to the north to continue the journey that had been delayed long enough.
