142. Revenge Plan

   "Oh, Reus—why is your face swollen like that?"

   "Don't think about it."

After a small reunion with Dunk and Kynel, Reus meets Ikshan at their appointment. Ikshan was a little surprised at Reus's face which somehow could change in form to such an extent. If not for his mask being detached and revealing his identity as a player, Ikshan would not have recognized Reus's current form.

   "Hmm? Who're they? Your acquaintance?"

Ikshan realizes there is a pair of foreign players for him following Reus from behind. He did not feel any animosity from the two, yet he could see the purple-haired girl Reus had brought was upset, for some reason.

   "Ah, those two were Dunk and Kynel, my playmates for quite some time first."

   "Oh, so. I'm Ikshan, greetings."

While the three introduced themselves, Reus drank HP Potions that might be useful to restore his face to its original form, unfortunately it did not work. The swelling on his face did not disappear.

The four decided to stop by a restaurant. Reus and Ikshan have not eaten any of these dishes, while Dunk and Kynel have filled their stomachs just before being chased by Gaia's Tree. They both ordered a drink.

   "By the way, why were you guys being chased by Gaia's Tree earlier?"

   "Ah, about that...."

After ordering a few menu choices, Reus immediately asked the point. Even though all the Gaia's Tree members he had met so far were indeed the type of jerk, he still needed an explanation regarding the matter beforehand. Reus also brought this up because he wanted Ikshan to hear it too.

Dunk explained that a few days ago when he met Kynel at a restaurant, the men continued to harass Kynel until he was fed up and shaking one restaurant made them run away.

   "Kynel? As I recall he wasn't that strong until he could shake one building."

   "Reus, it seems you're too behind on information."

Dunk added that Kynel was not the person Reus had known in the battle of Viredeta, not only his properties but also his abilities changed from those previously considered ordinary beginners to being known among beginners due to his land magic power being so great and powerful even below level 100.

After Viredeta's great battle, Kynel follows Ramsey and becomes part of Crimson Castle. There he was given so many resources and training suitable for his abilities as a land mage thanks to the support of Ramsey whose position was quite high in the Legion.

It was thanks to that that Kynel now managed to obtain a Silver-Class-level class called Geomancer, a branching class of Mage that focused on earth magic, a, and nicknamed Little Gaia because of her ability is very high despite being below level 100.

No earth element Mage player below level 100 was able to match Kynel's current strength.

   "Hows it? He's great, isn't he?"

Dunk stroked Kynel's bowed head in embarrassment at all of his own achievements, while Reus was a little surprised at what he had just heard. It was unexpected that Kynel could progress to that extent since the last time she met.

   "Because that's why your slap can be this strong.... I get it."

Reus nodded slowly to understand why the swelling on his face did not return to normal even though he had consumed some HP Potions.

   "That's because you're the one who pisses me off!"

Unaccepting being misunderstood to the extent that Kynel replied to Reus, then explained the reason behind the slap he had thrown to Reus earlier.

After the battle of Viredeta, Reus once promised Kynel to meet him at Society Online during the update and maintenance of Orbis Online, but the young man did not come even after a long day of Kynel waiting alone in the promised place. Who wouldn't be upset if they were in Kynel's position?

   "He deserved that slap!"

Kynel snorted angrily ending his explanation while throwing a sharp glare at Reus who did not know what to do, while Dunk and Ikshan who had been listening could only hold back the laughter.

Reus sighed for a moment after apologizing to Kynel for the umpteenth time, then brought back the topic of the conversation that had been lost before. Gaia's Tree and Dunk and Kynel. He was sure the problem did not end until at Kynel that shook the restaurant alone.

Dunk sighed softly before continuing his explanation, this happened the next day after the incident.

Those who were rudely expelled by Kynel did not accept it and returned with some of his friends more, but lucky for Kynel because Dunk was with him so they both beat up all who were looking for trouble with them.

It continued for several days until Dunk and Kynel realized that the problem seekers they had been facing in the last few days were members of Gaia's Tree who lived in the headquarters of the Alvast branch.

   "Why don't you ask Crimson Castle for help? Aren't you a member of them?"

Kynel shook his head slowly not wanting his Legion to intervene directly against the problems he made himself, especially those from other Legions. Although the name Crimson Castle was much larger than Gaia's Tree, Kynel remained steadfast in his stance.

Reus again scratched his head hearing Kynel's reply. He supported the establishment of Kynel who did not want the Legion to intervene on its own problems, but other stories if the opposing Legion looking for trouble first, especially Gaia's Tree.

Reus' desire to destroy the Legion is now stronger after knowing the events experienced by Kynel, as if Gaia's Tree has unlimited power and power.

It is true that Reus has only known Gaia's Tree recently, but since knowing his sister—Mirage—and his friends have experienced a drastic decline thanks to their Legion exploiting the power of its members, Charion's problems, and their friends, then the incident that happened to Kynel, he increasingly wanted to destroy Gaia's Tree as soon as possible.

His strength will not be enough to destroy a medium-level Legion close to high like Gaia's Tree, but another story if he does it with Ikshan, Dunk, and Kynel.

For the time being they won't be able to destroy Gaia's Tree's main base that isn't exactly known where it is, but they might be able to destroy the branch headquarters in Alvast.

   "Reus.. You're thinking something weird, huh?"

Without realizing it, Reus wore a chilling smile on his lips as he thought of some possible plans to destroy the Alvast branch of Gaia's Tree, making the other three players uncomfortable.

Reus sighed for a moment before telling his wish to the three people, surprising those who heard him.

   "Destroying a Legion? You crazy?"

   "Dunk, you don't know Reus if you question his sanity now."

This time it was Ikshan's turn to sigh heavily at Reus's seemingly impossible wish, Dunk and Kynel also reacted more or less the same. They doubted Reus' sanity, which was often too limited.

   "Why not? Don't we have our own grudges against Gaia's Tree?"

The three looked at each other as Reus reminded.

Ikshan still holds a grudge against Charion who snatched away his lover. Even though he could have let Mia go, he still had problems with Charion as a man.

Dunk and Kynel themselves rethink the events of today, if Reus had not come and helped them then Gaia's Tree would have kept coming until it could kill or capture them. If left unchecked, they won't be able to play quietly.

It took some time for the three to ponder Reus' plan, but they all agreed.

   "Alright, let's wait for the execution of this revenge plan."

Reus's smile grew so wide that he was overjoyed not to think the day would come when he would destroy Gaia's Tree. Although there was only one branch in one city, the assets they had planted must have been not small. He impatiently wanted to quickly destroy this one Legion branch.
