252. Battle Dragon and Human XII

"Wuah, Ibane is raging too much."

Ikshan smiled dryly watching the dragon snake-shaped wind vortex which is the magic belonging to Ibane from a distance. He felt that losing contributed to this war considering that most of his skills were not very suitable when fighting a less advantaged amount like this.

"You dare to distract yourself in the middle of a battle?!"

One of the advanced soldiers pointed his weapon at Ikshan but ended up dead when the metal ballast Kusarigama that Ikshan sheet penetrated the soldier's protective armor so easily.

"Uwah, this kusarigama is too strong. Is this weapon okay to give me?"

Ikshan could understand if he could cut his opponent's armor with his kusarigama's sickle parts but his metal ballast was able to penetrate the Menschrein Kingdom's warrior armor? Besides using Randolf's kusarigama, he's never done anything similar before.

Currently Ikshan was in the middle of the siege of the Menschrein Kingdom army but he did not feel tense or afraid in the slightest, instead he felt more confident when he knew the ability of the Crescent Dragon Slayer exceeded his initial expectations.

"I don't have a wide-enveloped style like Ibane or Reus but you'll regret not attacking me as soon as you get the chance."

Ikshan smiled faintly seeing the soldiers feeling hesitant to advance. He took advantage of the opportunity to swing the chain of the Crescent Dragon Slayer, playing it deftly snuffing out all his enemies one by one at a lightning speed.

As soon as the enemy around him was exhausted Ikshan immediately advanced to approach the Menschrein Kingdom warriors at the forefront while rotating the body while pulling the chain of kusarigama horizontally.

"Moon Scythe Art Series: First Form – Crescent Moon!"

In one attack, the front row of the opponent was immediately blown away like cutting grass. It made the soldiers scream and feel like they would not be able to win against an enemy like this.

Unfortunately, Ikshan's attack is not over.

"Let's continue with this one! Moon Scythe Art Series: Second Form – Orbital Dance!"

Ikshan plays his kusarigama deftly connecting each attack without stopping the momentum of his little scythe, taking out every enemy he sees.

Kusarigama Ikshan game that can not be stopped by the NPCs then invites the attention of players. He stopped his round of play when he saw some players wearing Equip denoted Gaia's Tree.

"Hey, you stupid masked ninja, you didn't realize you were outnumbered? Are you sure you intend to face us alone? We are different from these stupid soldiers!"

Hearing the ravings of one of the Gaia's Tree members, Ikshan let out a long sigh before exerting Bloodlust, applying pressure and scaring the soldiers and players around him.

He did not miss that opportunity to go forward. The members of Gaia's Tree were slightly surprised when it dawned on their opponent to come forward after being lulled by Bloodlust Ikshan's fear. They then intended to advance simultaneously but their movements were held back by dozens of blue-colored chains tied to the ground.

Ikshan smiled coldly for a moment and then swung his kusariga to behead the members of Gaia's Tree at lightning speed. As a result, thanks to his speed of eliminating some members of Gaia's Tree, other players feel hesitant to attack Ikshan.

"Are the members of Gaia's Tree really just trash that can chatter? Disgusting."

After saying so Ikshan continued his action to cut down every soldier and player who blocked his path, especially the members of Gaia's Tree who so far can only play mouth without giving the slightest resistance.

In addition to using his techniques and kusarigama skills, Ikshan also began to use various lightning magic that he had obtained from his lightning element Elemental Rune to withstand unexpected opponent movements.

Ikshan's actions may not have caused a huge explosion like Ibane or Reus but saw their comrades fall one by one at an unimaginable speed, the enemy felt the terror caused by Ikshan was more profound than the other two.

Plus the Bloodlust skill that is occasionally deployed, Ikshan increasingly looks like a demon to the soldiers and players there.

***

Reus had waited enough in the middle of the battlefield. He did promise to let Ibane and Ikshan finish off the Menschrein Kingdom's forces in order to contribute to the war but he did not say he would not join again.

Just as Reus was about to deploy the Pscyhokinesis to fly towards the enemy troops ahead, he saw a group of players coming in a huddle towards him. Reus immediately took a standby position.

When the distance between Reus and the group of players had begun to thin out he could see they were all wearing some sort of yellow cloth on their left arm.

   "Ah, they are apparently."

Reus smiled slightly before sheathing his sword back and approaching the group of players. In the front row can be seen a familiar figure waving towards him.

   "Sister!"

True, despite wearing a new Equip range, the only player to call Reus big brother is none other than Reus' sister, Almira—Mirage in Orbis Online.

   "Yeah, Mira. You guys okay?"

Reus greeted Mirage and the others. He can see besides Mirage there are also Violet, Fira, Kuro and Edmund who are friends of the Party as well as the real world of Mirage. Not to forget also the other players who want to escape from Gaia's Tree's restraints.

Reus was quite surprised to find out the number of players who wanted to get out of Gaia's Tree but could not because of the threat of their superior who had been mentioned by Mirage a few days before the war began.

He looked at the player behind the Mirage group who looked doubtful towards Reus but he could understand their feelings.

"Okay, you can go backwards. Leave yourself to the soldiers of Bailendra Kingdom and after all this is over, you will be released soon."

"Traitor! How dare you betray the Legion!"

"You must be killed fifty times in order to be deterred!"

   "Cursue! Kill those traitors!"

A large group of players chased after the Mirage group and comrades from behind when they realized their Legion members were betraying.

"Hmm, sounds like they're not refugee players, are they?"

"Sister, don't say relax like that! They numbered around 50 people and they were all level above 180! This is not a relaxed state!"

Commemorated by his own sister, Reus could only smile wryly while scratching his cheeks. Either it was due to the worry as a brother or the pure distrust Mirage had towards him.

Whatever it was could not prevent Reus from killing those who came with bad intentions.

Reus took out a horn-shaped Item from the Inventory and blew it away. The horn immediately turned into a Minotaur with a large axe hanging from its back.

   "Master, you're calling?"

"I don't actually want to call you in the middle of a battlefield like this but what can I do."

Reus asks the Minotaur, Bull to guard and escort the Mirage group as well as refugee players to safety. Bull nodded slowly before carrying out his master's orders.

"Sister Reus, I'll help you from behind! Although my strength is not much better than doing nothing!"

When Reus had started to prepare to fight against the pursuers, Violet—Kurenai in the real world—called his wish to help Reus from behind. Reus who heard that smiled slightly and turned his head towards Violet.

"Violet, you've helped me a lot of times when I was low level. Now it's my turn to help you."

   "But—"

"Not to worry. I didn't even take five minutes to clean them all up."

Violet had not had time to reply to Reus' words but the silvery-white-haired player figure had already darted towards the pursuers of the Mirage group.

Seeing Reus mindlessly advancing alone facing the group of pursuers, the players who had been secretly following Reus' direction through Mirage in order to escape from Gaia's Tree's exploits and tyranny asked Mirage.

"Hei Mirage, is it okay to let him advance alone? If it's not wrong you call him brother, right?"

Mirage scratched her cheek unsure what to say to respond to the question.

She realized that her brother was very stubborn if he decided something and it was difficult to change his mind but on the other hand, it was hard, he recalled Reus having a sword-shaped Ultra-Equip that he had never seen and Mirage realized Reus was holding the sword.

Reus' level was already quite high and he had an Ultra-Equip that was rare, then plus the Special-class that he had told me about, Mirage was quite sure that her brother felt he could defeat all of them but at the same time he was also worried.

"I'll help her from behind with Violet. You go to a safe place with the Minotaur my brother calls."

Mirage raised her magic wand. As a Mage class player he can support Reus from afar without having to fear limiting Reus's movements, moreover Violet who is a Gunner also helps him.

"Well, after everything he's done to help us, I don't want to stay silent without thanking you either."

"I agree with Kuro. I will protect them both. What about you, Fira?"

"You decided all of that unilaterally and are still asking my opinion? We're still a party, right?"

Kuro, Edmund, and Fira take up their arms following Mirage and Violet. Kuro's class is Samurai, and so is Edmund who is a Dual Swordsman. Both are close combatants and their job is to protect Mirage and Violet, who are the number one attackers in their party.

Fira is indeed not a pure fighter and his class is also just an ordinary Blacksmith, a special class of production but he can also fight relying on his hammer from medium range.

When the five players decide to help Reus, the Minotaur Bull stops them.

"All of this is not necessary. You guys should go somewhere safe. Leave everything to my master."

".... You as her summoned creature do not feel worried or want to help her? Isn't he your master?"

"My master's orders are merely to protect and escort you to safety. After all, if you fight cockroaches like them then your master doesn't need help. See?"

Bull pointed to Reus who was facing a group of pursuers numbering no less than 50 players—or rather was slaughtering the group casually as if all that was not something meaningful in a speed that could not be believable.

Mirage and her four Party friends glared at the sight, even refugee players who previously felt Reus was too arrogant could not distract them from the figure of the player.

Those who witnessed it began to think that the one who needed help was not Reus but rather the group of pursuers from Gaia's Tree.
