223. Deadlocks and Frustrations

Reus rubbed his chin as soon as he found a familiar name in his ears. He would not be surprised if there was a Gaia's Tree name among this list considering that the Legion was always troublemaking wherever they were, but he did not expect the Adventador to participate on the side of the Menschrein Kingdom.

Adventador is a medium-sized Legion similar to Gaia's Tree, but it is rumored that the Legion is only a step away from reaching the level of a large Legion that is approximately one area with a top-class Legion.

Legion is basically divided into three levels based on the strength and number of members, namely the small Legion, the medium Legion, and the large Legion.

Gaia's Tree could be said to be an intermediate Legion because their strength had been enough to reach such a level and they had also set up branches in several places. They might be spelled out a mid-level Legion that was almost a big Legion if not for the Reus destroying their branch in Alvast.

The Adventador? If comparing the Adventador to Crimson Castle which was a large Legion was clearly not comparable but to a Legion the size of Gaia's Tree, the Adventador could be likened to one of the current 'Middle Legion Kings.

"Well, that's not surprising considering they're backed by one of the top companies in Indonesia."

Reus still clearly remembers that the Adventador is a Legion inhabited by Hiruma Tokoyasu, the figure of a handsome and blue-blooded young man who became his sworn enemy since high school who is also the perpetrator behind the bitter love story of his youth.

Reus might not have thought much about it at the moment, but he never forgot what Hiruma and Rea had done to him in the past.

As Reus was busy commenting on the bitter events unfolding in his memory, an idea flashed through his mind that made Reus' lips sing a cold, wide smile.

"Isn't this a rare chance for revenge? I can't waste it."

In real life Reus never dared to do something like revenge considering that his social status and economic strength would be greatly outdone by Hiruma, but such a thing did not happen in Orbis Online.

It then made Reus' smile not fade all day, he even spent all his time on that day to devise a plan for how he could participate in the war between Bailendra Kingdom and Menschrein Kingdom.

"Hey Reus, we've been so much better after a full day's rest, but it looks like you're inversely proportional. Look at the black bags in your eyes."

"What Ikshan said is true, Reus. You need to rest today."

In the morning at breakfast, Ikshan and Ibane commented on Reus's messy appearance after staying up all night to succeed the plan he had put together.

Unfortunately Reus did not give the words of Ikshan and Ibane, he dissolved in his joy of getting a chance of revenge while devouring food unconsciously spoon by spoon.

Ikshan and Ibane sighed for a moment before grabbing Reus' arm, one each and taking him to the room so the young man could rest.

Reus looked like a person who lost his mind when he was deprived of hours of sleep and it was frightening to everyone who saw him, even the officers and guards of the local inn to the point of breaking out in cold sweat watching the unusual sight.

After resting for a few hours, Reus' mind became clearer. His desire for revenge against Hiruma through the Adventador Legion is still there, but his priority right now is to look for clues regarding the Arshwind seal.

That's why Reus came to Ikshan in his room to discuss this.

"Unfortunately thanks to my condition, I haven't been looking for more information lately."

"No problem, the Nirvana River Arak was indeed too strong to be handled by people who did not have the skills or natural resistance to the abnormal status of the like."

Reus and Ikshan then match the story of Dragonregin and the relief carvings that Reus found on the Ruins of Seven Dragon King for the umpteenth time, but unfortunately, how many times discussed without new information will be difficult to draw conclusions.

When viewed from the relief carvings that Reus found Bailendra Kingdom was indeed founded by the Seven Dragon Kings and experienced tens to hundreds of battles to protect the dragon nation and other reptiles from the pursuit of a fearful nation it would be their strength, but after it all ended the seven dragon kings left the kingdom they had founded and simply disappeared.

Reus and Ikshan attempt to connect and unite these two stories to uncover clues about the Arshwind seal that may be hidden somewhere in Bailendra Kingdom, but unfortunately it all ends up being nil.

"Come, looking for something without a clue like this is too exhausting for those of us who are less good at history."

"Truely, especially the history of the world that is far different from that of the earth."

Ikshan let out a long sigh while complaining, followed by Reus who relaxed his back on the floor.

He looked at the ceiling feeling a little frustrated. It had been a while since Reus had received this mission from Arswhind, but until now he had not found any clues.

Little by little despair began to eat away at Reus' heart and mind, yet he still remembered the difficulty of this mission so difficult that even the system could not determine the difficulty.

'If this is an easy mission, the Orbis Online system will have no problem determining the difficulty level of this mission.'

Reus sighed heavily before smiling wryly, encouraging himself not to give up too early.

After all, Reus had met some Arshwind acquaintances like Harleina and Randolf who turned out to be arguably heroes in the past who could crush the Order of Chaos even though it did not get to the root.

He believes Arswhind is not an evil dragon sealed by the hero recalling the story Harleina and Randolf once told.

After resting for some time Reus got up and took Ikshan to lunch downstairs, his Hunger parameters had entered a dangerous area. Ikshan immediately agreed to it considering the time had also shown the lunch hour.

"By the way, have you heard about the massive recruitment on the part of the Menschrein Kingdom who also received help from races other than humans? Especially from a Legion of players?"

"Not at all, but to me that sounds like nonsense. Perhaps they just wanted to harness the power of the other races as well as bury them in the battlefield."

"Ah, I thought you'd say that. Even monkeys can guess the foul intentions of the Menschrein Kingdom, but you definitely won't believe how many Legions are going to help them."

Reus whispers the number of Legions he knows will definitely help the Menschrein Kingdom in the coming war, of course including Gaia's Tree and the Adventador for which he seeks revenge.

Ikshan glared fiercely at Reus' whispers, especially regarding Gaia's Tree not ceasing to make trouble here and there, yet he was a little more able to guess the reason behind Gaia's Tree helping the Menschrein Kingdom.

"How much of a reward does the Menschrein Kingdom offer to attract the Legion's help?"

"Hmm, if I don't get it wrong, I see about 30 million Byl for the big Legion, 10 million for the medium Legion, 5 million for the small Legion."

Ikshan's eyes grew more and more rounded to hear the numbers Reus mentioned. That high price does sound like a lot for ordinary people, but for a Legion the price is a natural thing.

"If the pay is really that high I doubt there's an untouched middle legion. There's no way Gaia's Tree didn't participate.

Ikshan massaged his eel which was now pulsing quite hard, he did not expect the Menschrein Kingdom to place such a high bid to get help from the player Legion.

Gaia's Tree is an intermediate Legion that would have been almost a great Legion if not for the Reus who destroyed one of its branches in Alvast some time ago, a golden opportunity like this would certainly not be missed by them for the sake of recuperating.

As Reus and Ikshan were engrossed in conversation as they walked towards the inn restaurant, the two heard a noise from below that one of the sounds of the commotion sounded familiar.

The two looked at each other for a moment before speeding up the steps to ascertain what was happening below.
