227. The Trap that Can't Be Avoided

After discussions and requests for cooperation had been positively responded by both sides Salvinius pampit returned to the palace to report to the king and the other two members of the Three Councils of Dragons, as for Ikshan and Ibane just re-entered the room.

Reus immediately recounted what he had discussed with Salvinius about the two.

"uh? So you're gonna help Bailendra Kingdom in the fight against Menscrehin Kingdom?"

   "Yes, that's it."

"Argh! Why did you have to drag me out of the discussion, Ikshan?! Know this I will participate on the condition that any egg, baby, child, or dragon I can contract in return! Damn you and your two descendants!"

"Hey, my children have done nothing wrong to you!"

"You're fussing about things that are far away in the future while you were alone just a few weeks ago being cheated on by your own lover?"

"Ugh, there's no need to remind you of that, Reus...."

"Argh, curse you Ikshan and your four descendants!"

   "Why is it growing?!"

The chaotic conversation filled the inn's living room until everyone there inevitably tried to ignore the three, especially after knowing two humans and one Draconian human form has a relationship with the king and the Three Dragon Council.

The owner and the inn worker himself became misbehaved when he realized Reus and his two friends were important—although in fact Ibane was not included.

Since the beginning of coming and staying here they always treat the three on the basis of the three forms are human, it is natural that they think everything they dream of will disappear soon.

Luckily, Reus was not a person who liked to dispute such things.

"Well, for today quite a lot of things need to be digested. I also need to pick up Nocht in Alvast."

"Alright, we need to rest and prepare for the big battle later."

"Cursed be you and your eight descendants, Ikshan!"

"Can't you end your curse on my descendants who may never have been born?! I'm starting to think it's better not to have a family than my innocent children to get your damn curse!"

Seeing the three of them move towards their respective rooms, the entire inn worker present there heaved a heavy sigh of relief at the same time. They were grateful that none of the three had any intention of replying to their ill-treatment.

At that very moment they all promised inwardly that they would treat the V.I.P to the three after this.

***

After putting up an Item as a point back in his room, Reus swapped positions with the sword he had thrust into his room in the palace of Lavore Kingdom.

"As usual this second trip cannot be considered a trip."

Reus muttered for a moment not feeling the smell of travel despite having moved tens of kilometers away. Although it sounds like complaining, Reus is very grateful to have this skill.

Being able to switch places in an instant no matter how far away it was, the consumption of a little Energy, as well as a very short Cooldown, wasn't that a very comfortable skill?

As Reus grinned in his boasting daydream of having skills as practical as Hyper Switch, a familiar voice shocked him.

"Now what else are you daydreaming about to make such a radiant face?"

"Sylph's? You're the one who greeted me here apparently."

   "Well, I'm free."

The two stared at each other for a moment before smiling while shaking each other's hands.

"Next time, Sylph. You look a lot more contained than you first came out of an iron cage."

"I'm currently a fairly high-ranking noble, so there's no need to wonder my health has gotten so much better."

Sylph then escorted Reus to the room where Aulcrat and Nocht were waiting while talking.

Although Reus and Sylph were not close friends, the two had trusted each other's backs for some time while still fugitives in the Lavore Kingdom. Their relationship is not shallow, although not too close.

"By the way, is this just my feeling or are you becoming much stronger in the near future?"

Sylph could feel the aura as well as the magic energy around Reus felt so different from the last time they met, now Reus is much stronger than before and according to his current estimates Reus is able to defeat Xavier without so much difficulty.

"Oh, what level are your opponents?"

"The lowest level is 280, while the highest is 380."

   "When are you level...?"

"It seems like the time I was around 170 to 200."

Sylph immediately petrified to hear a quick answer from Reus that sounded unreasonable but considering that Reus was even rumored to be able to deal with Xavier at the time of his 150s, it was not impossible.

There was only one word in his mind regarding Reus at this moment.

   'Monster....'

He then wondered inwardly, were all Immortal Being as crazy as Reus? If he was then he was clearly not needed in the great war against the Chaos Order in the future.

While chatting did not feel like the two had reached the room where Aulcrat and Nocht were waiting.

"Well, I got here. I still have some work to wait for."

   "Don't you say you're free?"

   "Now no more."

Right after saying so Sylph rushed off down the hall leaving Reus in front of the door in confusion as to why Sylph looked so rushed away.

Thought like anything as long as he did not know the root of the problem Reus would not be able to get the answer without asking directly. In the end Reus gave up while shrugging his shoulders.

He knocked on the door in front of him without thinking any further before being invited by Aulcrat from inside.

"Excuse me, I'm coming to ha—huh?!"

As soon as Reus opened the door of Aulcrat's room, he, he found the figure of the king of Lavore Kingdom and Nocht the Blackmoon Dwarf was embracing each other's shoulders while raising a large wooden glass in the other hand high.

""I'm paddling a boat on the edge of a mountain!~ Dive into the sea in a shirt dress!~ Archery clouds using squirrels!~ Oh, pirate life for me!~""

"What the hell is with the lyrics of this messed up song?!"

Reus glared violently at the sight of Aulcrat and Nocht who looked drunk.

He did not find it surprising that Aulcrat was drunk considering that human resistance to alcohol was quite varied, but Nocht was drunk because of liquor? What and what type of alcohol do they drink?

As Reus was astonished a servant came behind him and he spontaneously asked what these two men were drinking until they could be as drunk as they are now.

"Ah, His Majesty and Tuanku Nocht are partying to celebrate their happy day reunited using this Mad Noble Tuak. These few days the two are difficult to meet each other face to face because of their busy lives."

The waiter showed the bottle he had brought to Reus who immediately sought information about the alcohol within the scope of the Orbis Forum, then the contents of the panel were surprisingly plastered in front of his face.

"Abcohol content 97%?! This is no longer liquor, it's a disinfectant!"

According to the news Arak Sungai Nirvana is the most powerful alcoholic drink in the entire Orbis Online, but it turns out the news is not right. There is still sky above the sky.

Gets this unexpected crucial information Reus spontaneously screams which turns Aulcrat and Nocht unconscious behind him.

   "Oh, isn't that Mr Reus?~ Let's have a drink with us!~"

"Reus?~ Hey, kid! Come here and accept my offer this time!~ Don't you refuse me again this kind offer!~"

Reus had not had time to react Aulcrat and Nocht had clutched his shoulders not letting the silver-haired young man escape.

Reus is eager to escape using the Hyper Switch but with Aulcrat and Nocht holding his shoulder, he cannot do that considering the objects he touches or touches him will be swapped places.

At a time like this then Reus recalled Sylph leaving so hurriedly a while ago.

'So this is the reason Sylph suddenly left as fast as lightning?!'

And that's how Reus once again died in Orbis Online. Only this time he did not immediately return to the Orbis Online after the penalty duration was over in order to recover in the real world.
